Preterists Take a Knife to the Bible (Bad Eschatology, Part 6)

The idea that anyone would take a knife to the Bible, is horrifying. In fact, there is a question mark over the eternal destiny of all who do that. And no one does that more than the Preterists.

For them, all prophecy is history, and that is truly abhorrent. And, when you examine the roots of this awful eschatology, you’ll understand how they became what they are.

Like the pretrib fallacy, Preterism has its roots in a Jesuit attempt to deform the Reformation. So, let’s look into that, along with why Preterist Eschatology is so plainly wrong.

The Rise of the Ten Kings (And More)

It is normal for people to fear that the Antichrist is just around the corner, just waiting to jump out and say, “Boo!” He isn’t. He’s hiding behind the corner after that. So, instead of being fearful of the Antichrist, maybe we should be… well, not fearful …but, at least anticipating these guys:

The Ten Kings Without A Kingdom

Those guys MUST be in power BEFORE the Antichrist arrives. And no, they are not ruling now. Not yet. However, I do believe that the events that are unfolding before our eyes are getting ready for these kings to rise.

I also talk about a deception in the KJV and a personal opinion from Martin Armstrong.

Chuck Baldwin is a False Teacher and an Object Lesson

God calls all mature Christians to publicly rebuke those elders that commit serious sin (1 Tim. 5:20) within the Body of Christ. If you are a pastor and preach lies, God requires that we answer those lies with the truth. So, I write and speak with this burden on my heart. And, I am forced to proclaim that Chuck Baldwin, is a false teacher and even a false brother.

He lies about our brothers and sisters in Christ.

He preaches abominable heresy.

He slanders the innocent.

Jesus called such Pharisees vipers. I believe that He would call Chuck Baldwin a snake and an example of what you should NOT do, when you learn something new.

Daniel’s 70th Week

There is a deception that weaves its way through our churches and the hearts of most followers of Christ. And, this deception is deadly, especially in these dark times. It grants permission for men and women to add to the Bible, man-made ideas. It distorts our view of Jesus Christ and our understanding of the Last Days. It plays a part in putting brothers and sisters in Christ, to sleep.

Even clear-thinking brothers and sisters have fallen prey to this deception. And, I find myself extremely annoyed, every time that I hear it. And, it’s high time that we stopped this foolishness.

Jacob’s Trouble is NOT the Great Tribulation

We find the term, Jacob’s Trouble, in Jeremiah 30:7. And, it’s placed in the midst of a chapter that speaks of great calamity and great salvation. And, it is because of that great judgment and calamity, that we think of Jacob’s Trouble as being a part of The Great Tribulation.

After all, ‘trouble’ and ‘tribulation’ are similar words. And, Jeremiah 30:7 mentions the trouble as there being none like that day. So, it’s easy to assume that Jacob’s Trouble and the Great Tribulation are the same.

You’d be wrong, but you would have a good excuse for being wrong.

The question is…

…can we get it right?
