The Madness of Babylon

You and I live in a dystopian nightmare. We traverse a world of madness that howls from every TV, PC and cell phone – while brain-eating delusions consume the minds of friends and family. Our neighbors and coworkers bellow their infected thoughts across Facebook and Twitter, and shriek in outrage if we disagree. And, when one mass delusion dies away, another quickly takes its place.

History is full of mass delusions, but they have never been this widespread. For the first time in history, more than a billion people are terrified of one thing. And, I think that we should talk about this Madness of Babylon.

When The Lockdown Really Began

Governments have been locking us down and controlling our movements for a lot longer than you realize. In fact, it has been going on for so long, that you don’t notice anymore. And, I was brought home to this fact, as I was looking at my own passport.

Why should I need US government permission to travel to another country?

The Weekend Shock Letter for May 30th, 2020

It has been a turbulent week. More evidence is coming out that I was right about the Wuhan Coronavirus, but being right isn’t making me happy. A shell-shocked economy continues to decline. Social distancing is looking like a new mantra for aspiring socialists. Free speech is ending. Riots have broken out over the police killing of George Floyd, and the riots look bad. Obamagate seems to be turning more serious, and the Democrats STILL want to steal the 2020 election.

And, last but not least, I finished my first installment of my next series:

Where We Go From Here, Part 1: The Crisis of Financial Confidence

It’s going to be a bumpy ride, kids.

Why Operation Gladio Turned Evil – Gladio Part 1

Okay, we’re diving in. And, I’m only doing this because Operation Gladio represents a snapshot of what governments and organizations become, when you give them power, money and secrecy.

Any two of those is bad.

All three together are catastrophic.

The core of the problem isn’t an ‘-ism’ like communism, fascism or the fervent belief in lasagna. It’s not an ideology or even a philosophy. It’s not even religion or the lack of one.

The problem is that we human beings are awful. And, you won’t find books examining proven conspiracies from the light of our human awfulness. We don’t like looking to closely at how awful we are.

Sin Destroys the Mind

Looking back over the events of the past week, one thing rings clear. Corruption and insanity go together. There’s a causal link between the two, and it is corruption that is the cause. And, we even have scientific proof to back up this assertion.

We have become insane, because we have chosen sin over righteousness.

Our founding fathers knew this, and even the worst of them – Benjamin Franklin – was clear on the need for morality and ethics for our freedom to be free. But, we lost our way and traded our freedom and sanity for pretty trinkets and shiny toys.
