That's me!
That’s me!

I’ve been a Christian for more than 40 years. I’m not sure if that means much, other than my collection of mistakes is probably longer than yours. I even have the scars to prove it.

I am blessed to have had Christian parents who led me to the Lord, as well as a love for learning. They are not responsible for the fact that I have strong opinions and a big mouth. That ‘big mouth’ has gotten me into a LOT of trouble, and even kicked out of High School.

I was a bit young for college, but my SAT scores were good, so I studied Physics at Butler University. However, God had other plans. Before I could complete my degree, the Lord dragged me off to the Indianapolis campus of Indiana University, where I found a professor who was an expert on the Arab/Israeli conflict.

Poor Dr. Winslow. He had high hopes for me, but he was an Arabist. And, I wasn’t.

Don’t get me wrong. I love the Arab people, but I love God more. This means that I must follow what God is doing. But, I’m getting ahead of myself.

Clutching my newly-minted political science degree, I launched out into the world and realized that I had nothing to offer an employer, other than a college degree that meant little – other than an ability to finish what I start. So, I went and got an MBA.

(Which means that I’m a High School dropout
with a Masters Degree.

I enjoy business and finance, almost as much as science and Israel. So, when God called me to Jerusalem in 1992, I was able to work for a small investment company, doing research and analysis. I eventually wound up managing a small mutual fund before God again sent me off in a different direction.

I am an example of how a hair cut can change your life. There I was, in Jerusalem and sitting in a barber’s chair, when the guy cutting my hair said those fateful words:

“Can you write?”

A friend of his needed a writer to work for him in Tel Aviv, writing computer manuals. I’ve been a professional writer, ever since – mostly for high tech companies.

God then dragged me back to Indiana in 2006, and I complained all the way. Poor little me felt much abused, even though I knew that God had His reasons. I found out what those reasons were, when I met the most fabulous woman on the planet and convinced her to marry me – in 2008. You should feel sorry for my wife. She’s married to a crazy man.

On a side note, I was a painfully single man in 1992. And, when I left the United States, the question on every single man’s mind was:

Do you kiss on the first date?

When I returned in 2006, that wasn’t the question, anymore.

Thankfully, all of that is behind me, and I have a wonderful marriage. Praise God!

In 2010, I dragged my long-suffering wife off to Israel, and then to the country of her birth. And yes, it really was my decision to live in Taiwan. Seriously, I may even like the place better than she does. But, I’m getting ahead of myself, again.

In late 2010, as we were sitting in our apartment in Jerusalem, we realized that we couldn’t stay. The choice was either return to the US, or move to Taiwan. Since I could not bear the thought of living in the US (see the ‘side note’ above), the decision was easy. America didn’t feel like home anymore, so I was willing to give Taiwan a try.

Taiwan is a wonderful place full of interesting people and awful food. Really, the food is the only thing that I don’t like about Taiwan. Having said that, lots of Americans love truly authentic Chinese cuisine, even better than cheeseburgers and pizza. But…

…I LOVE cheeseburgers and pizza.

You can find some pretty good examples of both, here in Taipei, so I’m reasonably content. Just understand that the ‘Chinese’ food in America is NOT Chinese.

One other thing that I love about Taiwan, is the opportunity teach Bible classes. I teach two of them here in Taipei, and they have been a tremendous blessing to me. Nothing gives me more joy than talking about God and the Bible.

I make forays back to Jerusalem, every once in a while. It helps keep my Hebrew sharp, and there really is no place on Earth like Jerusalem. It is my favorite place on the planet. And, I really consider that ancient city to be home.

Then, on April 5th, 2011, I suffered a profound shock. You can read about it here:
(Oh, and yes, is one of my other websites.)

I realized that I had been asleep, and that I needed to quickly get up to speed on what was happening. The more I learned, the more horrified I became, and that led me to create this website:

Omega Shock

I eventually wrote articles for Omega Shock every day, until late in November 2014. When the full implications of what was coming hit me, I decided to reduce the amount of writing that I was doing, so that I could concentrate on Ezekiel’s Fire. As I write this, financial collapse is still in our future, and it will be bad. But, it will not compare to the aftermath of the solar flare that is coming.

For a clearer view of who I am, I’ll have to direct you to my writing. I inject a lot of myself into what I write, and if you read enough of it, you’ll get a fairly accurate picture of who – and what – I am.

Most important, I pray that every word that I write is a reflection of God’s work in my life. I certainly would not have been able to offer anything of value without God’s direct intervention. If what I say is of benefit to you, praise God. After all, He’s the one who has given me the words to write.

The mistakes are mine.

May God bless you and keep you. May His light shine upon you and keep you safe. To God be the glory for ever and ever, amen.

Yours in Christ,

John Little

  2. John – You need to learn to read and understand what it is you read! How dare you! I have stated that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior – for your understanding I’ll better explain that – that means Jesus is God! By the words of Jesus himself he stated he did not know something that only the Father knows – how then can you possibly claim or state an equality when in fact the Father knows more then the son or the Holy Spirit for that matter as well…His words not mine!

You are an incredibly arrogant man of pride who chooses not to acknowledge when you are wrong…unlike you I use scripture to support my position and normally do not attack but on this occasion – I must defend my faith and honor of God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit.

I have lived the life of a sinner and by the grace of God, I have been saved and foremost for you here and now I will not make judgement calls towards you as you have done towards me!

Remember John, for what you have stated against me as my fate in judgment may very well happen to you!

Pride will not be allowed in the presence of God! It’s time for you to get over yourself!

I’ll pray and hope you do – unlike your lack of any compassion for me.

    • Hi Dave,

I’m sorry that you were insulted. It was not my intention. I asked you a direct question, and you offered a vague answer that seemed to indicate that you did not believe that Jesus was God.

However, your claim that Jesus is not equal with God the Father is strange, in light of Philippians 2:6.

Your accusation of pride may have merit. It IS something that I struggle with. Having said that, I do not believe that this is the problem here.

The problem is interpretation of the scriptures. I’m sure that if we had the time, we could get to the core issue of where our differences are. However, I am not blessed with huge amounts of time, and our ‘conversation’ is a drain on those resources. Add to this the fact that we do not seem to be getting anywhere… I just don’t see the point in further discussion.

However, if you understand why this discussion should continue, I’m willing to consider it.

Please remember that the purpose of this website is to equip Christians with the information they need to prepare for difficult times ahead.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  3. As an after thought – I will move on to more mature Christian adults who can correspond in disagreement while simultaneously doing so with a love and compassion in their heart that comes from the Lord Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and saved our sins.

Brother, you need to get on your knees and stop attacking your bothers…and I’m certain I have earned the right as your elder to say so.

May God open your heart to some humility – Dave

    • Hi Dave,

Well, I’m sorry that you feel this way. I have engaged in honest dialogue in attempt to reach some understanding of our differences. It is unfortunate that you feel insulted by this.

As I said in my previous response to you, this website was created for the purpose of equipping Christians with the information that they need to meet the challenges of a difficult future.

I hope that you find a website that meets your expectations.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  4. I just read today’s blurb on Bush Sr. Very enlightening. Have you heard that this man may also be Nazi George Scherff from the fatherland as revealed by Hitler’s SS bodyguard Otto Skorzeny? The same curious george that worked for and stole from N. Tesla? Now thats an intriguing link associated with Prescott Bush… check it out.

    Keep up the good work.

    • Hi Shawn,

That’s an interesting theory, but Prescott Bush is clearly George, Sr.’s father. I’m just not sure how the allegations that George Scherff is George Bush could ever be possible.

But, it is an interesting theory, all the same.

      Thank you for that, Shawn.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  5. I just ran across your site via Steve Quayle and am interested in reading much of what you have written. However, I do not have the time to spend at the computer reading. How can I print your articles without an overlay of words so that the article cannot be printed to read ?

I appreciate your reply and I thank you so very much.

    God bless

      • Thank you so much for your reply. Yes I can print, however, there are words across the face of your articles that makes it unreadable as such.

If you try to print one of your articles surely you will be able to see what I speak of.

Any help you can give is very much appreciated. I do not know the cause of this happening. I have been to a few websites where this also exists….but very few.

Thank you so very much and may the Lord keep you in the hollow of His mighty hand now and for all eternity.

        Be Blessed

        • Hi Sonya,

I did a test print, using the method that I suggested, and it seemed to print out fine. So, I’m not sure what the problem is. There might be some kind of problem with your printer, or the settings.

But, when I find the time, I will look into adding a printer format that will help you print, but I’m not sure how that will work out. Sorry that I can’t be of more help.

And, thank you for your warm regard. May the Lord keep you also.

          Yours in Christ,

          John Little

          • Hi John……Thanks for all your help. I will go to the above site you suggested and see what I am doing wrong.

I speak multiplied blessings to you and yours forevermore and all eternity.

God will richly reward you for all you do for Him…not only in this life but in the one soon to come.

    • Hi David,

Very interesting site. You have made some very interesting calculations. But, there is one thing that I think you need to consider. Remember that the key isn’t just the land of Israel – but Jerusalem.

Did Jesus refer to the founding Israel as one of the markers of the Last Days, in Luke 21:24?

No, he referred to Jerusalem – specifically that the gentiles would no longer control it when the time of the gentiles is over. That happened in 1967, not 1948. And, I believe that 1967 is the time to start counting years for a generation.

I truly believe that the shout heard round the world was Motta Gur’s statement, “Har Habayit b’Yadenu!” (The Temple Mount is in our hands.)

Here are two articles that I wrote on the subject:

And, thank you for the link on your site, David!

I love that picture of the Western Wall that you use as your background.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  6. I would really like to receive your daily ShockCast (as either audio or video) using a Podcast catcher but nearly all require an RSS feed. I am currently subscribed to RSS feeds for Hagmann & Hagmann and, and would like to receive yours automatically as well.

    Thanks for considering my request.
    God bless you and yours.

    • Hi William McClurg,

I think that I need to look into more aspects of ‘podcast distribution’. Right now, I’m working at a pretty basic level. Your comment is an excellent reminder that I need to pursue this more.

And, you honor me greatly by your desire to listen to my recordings. May they always be a blessing to you.

      Thank you William!

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  7. Hi John ,

Thank you for all you do. You keep me inspired. I have a question.
What bible do you use? Thank you .

    • Hi Dan,

      You’re welcome.

The Bible translation that I read the most is the KJV. However, the Bible that I rely on is the original Hebrew and Greek. No translation is completely accurate, and you should ALWAYS look at the original. Always.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little
