Jacob’s Trouble is NOT the Great Tribulation

We find the term, Jacob’s Trouble, in Jeremiah 30:7. And, it’s placed in the midst of a chapter that speaks of great calamity and great salvation. And, it is because of that great judgment and calamity, that we think of Jacob’s Trouble as being a part of The Great Tribulation.

After all, ‘trouble’ and ‘tribulation’ are similar words. And, Jeremiah 30:7 mentions the trouble as there being none like that day. So, it’s easy to assume that Jacob’s Trouble and the Great Tribulation are the same.

You’d be wrong, but you would have a good excuse for being wrong.

The question is…

…can we get it right?

The Last Days Accelerate – Jerusalem

Donald Trump just did the one thing that I did not expect him to do:

Recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel

He promised to do that during his campaign, and he delivered on that promise. And, I’m not used to American Presidents doing that – especially, when it comes to Jerusalem.

The side-effect of this event, will be a heating up of conflict in the Middle East and an acceleration of The Last Days. I believe that this is a very big deal, and I suspect that you will agree, when you see the evidence that I see.

Next Moves – Iran

There’s been another move in the global chess match between the West and the East. As America and the EU fumble about for effective ways to respond to Russia’s annexation of Crimea, Russia has leaped forward with another move: Iran I was a little be surprised by this gambit being played so soon. New Signs of Prophecy Being Fulfilled?

For more than 25 years, I have been looking for signs of the next stage in the fulfillment of a prophecy – the one written about in Ezekiel 36-39. (And yes, those chapters should be looked at together as one prophecy.) We’ve seen the land of Israel change and become fruitful. We saw the return of Israel to the land.
