The Flat Earth Mentality

A mental disease sweeps the globe, and it afflicts more than just those who believe that the Earth is flat. No, it’s far more pervasive and sinister than that.

It’s a disease that has destroyed peoples and nations throughout history. It reaches into our schools, our homes and our friendships. And, it’s a disease that will blind you to truth, if you allow it to take hold, in your life.

I call it a ‘Flat Earth Mentality’, but it might be better described as a desire to believe the fantastic, in the face of obvious and provable truth.

Where The Antichrist Comes From, Part II

Daniel 8 is a tough chapter to work through, and I believe that it was done that way on purpose. But, since it is an important chapter in an important book, it is worth our time to try and understand it.

And, I believe that we have some ability to piece together what can and cannot be the correct interpretation of Daniel 8.

So, let’s try to figure out if the Antichrist MUST come from the region in and around the Middle East – including Greece and parts of central Asia.

Where The Antichrist Comes From, Part I

Does the Bible say where the Antichrist comes from?

I know that this question sounds strange, but the prophet Daniel speaks about the Last Days. And, he talks about a ‘man of fierce countenance’.

Do you remember what he said?

He’s in Daniel 8, and he’s also referred to as a ‘little horn’. The question is whether this is the Antichrist, or whether it is Antiochus IV Epiphanes.

This is a pretty important discussion, and you need to think about this. If ‘the Little Horn’ is NOT Antiochus Epiphanes, then this is the Antichrist. And, it really sounds like the Antichrist.

Why Apocalypse Now

How we got to where we are is utterly fascinating. What an intricate series of events and historical movements that led us to this horrific moment in time.

For thousands of years, we’ve been puzzling over how the prophecies of the Last Days would be fulfilled. Well, we no longer need to puzzle over it. We now have most of the pieces and a better understanding of the picture.

The only question is whether we can fit those pieces together properly. It’s a big challenge, and I’ve been trying to do this for years. The good thing is that I’m better at this than before.
