Stop Worshiping Leaders

The idolatry among professing Christians is nothing short of amazing, and pastors are encouraging it. They love the personality cult that surrounds them. They love the rock star status. And, they love hiding their sins behind a code of secrecy

The Pharisees did exactly the same thing, and Jesus called them children of the Devil. They were the pastors of their era, and Jesus called them out and said that they were vile and evil. He said that they were whited graves, vipers and children of Satan.

Today, instead of the Pharisee, we have the sinful pastor.

Did You Have Faith in Politics?

Now that Joe Biden is President of the United States, I still find myself bemused by how much faith Christians have in politics.

How is it possible for us to claim Christ as our savior…

…while idolizing a president and a political process?

I understand why non-Christians would put so much faith in politics. They don’t have anything else to put faith in. But not Christians. Christians should know exactly Who to put their faith in.

So, why are we demonstrating to the world, that we don’t think that God is in control?

Seriously, that’s what Christians are saying, when they seek the overthrow of a political process, or go into despair when they can’t. So, maybe this is a good opportunity to contemplate our faith.

Can You Vote for a Weasel?

Early voting in the United States has already begun. And, it didn’t take long for fraud to rear its ugly head. Having seen the amoral nature of American politics from the inside, I’m not surprised.

But, how do you vote, when you know that you will stand before God and give an answer for all the choices that you have made?

That’s a tough one, and I’m not sure what to say about that. When the system has no morality, it’s hard for someone with morals to choose who runs the system.

Free to Fornicate

The kerfuffle over Kavanaugh is about one thing, and one thing only:

Sex without consequences

That’s it.

Oh, I know that they claim this thing or that. In fact, they talk about everything except the one thing that they just can’t tolerate, the restriction on their ability to have as much sex as they want, with as many people as they want, whenever they want, however they want it, without consequence.

Please remember that this is the central argument behind ‘A Woman’s Right To Choose’. That’s right, abortion.

Why?

Because if you couldn’t murder your unborn child, you couldn’t have as much sex as you wanted.

Blinded by the Past

What a turbulent week. Chinese stock markets collapsed. The Dow Jones Industrial Index flash-crashed. Fires consumed forests and homes in the American Northwest. North Korea threatened South Korea. Another explosion rocked China – followed by two in Japan. More evil rose from the cesspool called Planned Parenthood. And then, to add insult to injury, a glitch took down Omega Shock and a bunch of other sites. What a happy week.
