Few ideas have captured the imagination more than the Ride of the Four Horsemen. And, most of that ‘imagination’ is complete foolishness. Some of it is a reasonable attempt at trying to fit the pieces together.
Hopefully, the rest of us will ignore foolishness and confine our attempts at understanding, to what the Bible actually says. If you play games with the Bible, you are going to wind up in some very hot trouble with the Author.
As a writer, I don’t take kindly to having my words twisted. Multiply that by infinity when you consider that God doesn’t like having His words twisted, either.
It’s ALWAYS better to say, “I don’t know,” than invite the wrath of God.
