The Four Horsemen, Part Four – The Pale Horse

The Pale Horse is actually green. The original Greek for pale in Revelation 6:8 is chloros (χλωρος) and it literally just means green – as in chlorophyll green. So, it’s a green horse, not pale. But, everyone knows about the Pale Horse, so we’ll keep it pale in the title. But, whatever color you call it…

…it’s really, really bad.

Death rides that horse through a quarter of the world, killing with violence, hunger, disease and wild animals. The question is…

What quarter of the world will this be?

And what will it be like for the rest of us?

Let’s dig into that.

The Four Horsemen, Part Three – The Black Horse

Of all the horsemen of the Apocalypse, I have been dreading the Black Horse the most.

Why?

Because I could see how it would ride, and the utter devastation it would cause. In fact, I’ve been yelling about this particular horse for eleven years. No one has been listening, so I’m a little surprised that we made it this far.

Thankfully, we’ve been able to delay the moment when the Black Horse rides, but delay is the best that we can do. And, the reason for that, has everything to do with energy.

When we hit the limit to how much we can produce, our economy will collapse, and our civilization will die.

The Four Horsemen, Part Two – The Red Horse

The Ride of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse has supernatural origins, but natural causes. Everything that we see them do can be traced back to something natural, even though the Hand of God set it all in motion. This is especially true for this next article in this series:

The Rider of the Red Horse

When violence sweeps the earth, we will see some very basic and natural reasons for why it will be happening. However, history shows that the news media will get those reasons wrong. So, don’t be surprised when they describe the next Arab Spring as a desire for freedom.

The Four Horsemen, Part One – The White Horse

Revelation 6 introduces the ride of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in a specific order. There is a reason why the White Horse goes first, followed by the Red, then the Black and finally the Pale Horse ridden by Death.

Why do these horsemen ride out in that particular order?

What purpose do these horsemen fulfill?

Are we in a position to know?

If not, when would we know?

These are interesting questions that are worth asking, as long as we understand that the truth might be different than what we see, right now.

Scarcity and Famine

Having already proven unable to meet even the smallest threat, our civilization now faces something that will destroy our way of life:

Scarcity and Famine

Few governments and civilizations ever survive such calamity, and our turn has come. You might not feel the effect of this disaster right now. It might take months or even years to see it for yourself, but I hear the hoof beat of the black horse in our streets.

Natural gas supplies are tight, and China is already banning phosphate exports to ensure domestic fertilizer supply. This and more will ultimately mean starvation and unrest in the Third World – and eventually, violence and mayhem at your doorstep.
