The Four Horsemen – Conclusion

Sorry to take so long to get this conclusion out. I’ve been hard at work putting together an overview of the pretribulation rapture theory. This will be the first of many overviews of different theories about the Last Days.

There’s a reason why the truth about the Last Days was sealed. And, I’m not sure that it has been unsealed yet, so we should all be a little humble about our thoughts on this topic. I will certainly do my best.

Anyway, let’s wrap up these four horsemen with a conclusion.

The Four Horsemen, Part Four – The Pale Horse

The Pale Horse is actually green. The original Greek for pale in Revelation 6:8 is chloros (χλωρος) and it literally just means green – as in chlorophyll green. So, it’s a green horse, not pale. But, everyone knows about the Pale Horse, so we’ll keep it pale in the title. But, whatever color you call it…

…it’s really, really bad.

Death rides that horse through a quarter of the world, killing with violence, hunger, disease and wild animals. The question is…

What quarter of the world will this be?

And what will it be like for the rest of us?

Let’s dig into that.

Global System Crash

Globalism is dying, and its collapse will kill a lot of people. We had hoped that it could limp along a little further, but Putin had other ideas. So, here we are.

Over the next few years at least a billion people will die of starvation and violence.

China will implode – losing half of its population over the next three decades.

War will sweep the globe.

The cost of everything will go up, and you will not be happy.

But, there is a silver lining for some of us – assuming that Peter Zeihan isn’t being too optimistic. And yes, I think that he might be.

Violence and Famine

Three weeks ago, Putin turned the world upside down. That decision was made months ago, and we are beginning to see the outline of what’s coming. And, the poor will suffer terribly.

Those countries who import food will be hurt the most. And, our first sign of trouble will be violence in the streets. Those who can’t feed their kids, will tear their governments apart. But, it doesn’t end with food.

The global financial system will break. The dollar’s power will collapse – along with American hegemony. And, I’m not sure that Ukraine is going to win this war.

The Drums of War and Famine

The drums of war were louder this week – in ways that sounded a lot like those ‘weapons of mass destruction’ claims that led to the invasion of Iraq in 2003. And, this drive towards conflict almost drowned out a more subtle and deadly voice:

Famine

Because our governments are run by the worst possible leaders (see The Peter Principle), we will get the worst possible outcome. And, I had been hoping for a less cartoonish response from those sending us to war.

I was also hoping for more time before this future became so obvious.
