The Madness Pivot of History

History pivots. Pressures build, pulling civilization in one direction until someone makes a decision that forces us onto a different path. Our path to where we are now, is made up of these pivot points. And, we are going through one right now.

We knew that a pivot was coming. Something was bound to happen that would change our path into the future, and we knew that it was going to be bad. We just didn’t know that it would be this.

This is all a part of our rendezvous with prophecy. God said that it would happen. And, it will. But, there’s madness involved.

The Game of Wolves

We don’t know all the reasons why Russia invaded Ukraine, but we can guess at some of them. Fear of NATO is certainly part of the picture, but only part. The largest element is greed.

Money and power drive our wars, and this one is no different. If it was just about stopping Ukraine from joining NATO, Russia would have used a different strategy. But, since Putin has bigger ambitions and perceives the West to be weak, he chose the more traditional path to empire.

Unfortunately, it looks like this is exactly what some in the West wanted him to do.

The Stories That Send Us To War

I was not expecting Russia to invade Ukraine like this, but I had not been listening to the stories that the Russians were telling each other. Nor did I hear what Kremlin advisors were telling Putin.

Scarcity and Famine

Having already proven unable to meet even the smallest threat, our civilization now faces something that will destroy our way of life:

Scarcity and Famine

Few governments and civilizations ever survive such calamity, and our turn has come. You might not feel the effect of this disaster right now. It might take months or even years to see it for yourself, but I hear the hoof beat of the black horse in our streets.

Natural gas supplies are tight, and China is already banning phosphate exports to ensure domestic fertilizer supply. This and more will ultimately mean starvation and unrest in the Third World – and eventually, violence and mayhem at your doorstep.

General Suleimani is Dead. Good. Here’s Why.

General Qasem Soleimani was one of the most brilliant special operations commanders in recent history. Dedicated. Talented. Charismatic. Tireless. Dependable. Honest. Devoted to his men and to the cause of the Shiite Islamic Revolution of Iran. And, all of that means that he was a threat to Israel, The US and the Middle East.

He had to die, because Iran is at war with the US. And, that war has been ongoing for 40 years. Even if the US had not invaded Iraq, someone would have needed to assassinate him for the safety of the region.

The fact that he was a war criminal and a terrorist is secondary.
