Arrogance

Of all the enemies that we face in this world, our biggest lies reflected in the mirror. No one has done more to damage our relationship with God. No one had done more to harm the people that love us. No one is more destructive to our churches, our communities and our nation.

We really are our own worst enemy.

The thought that God loves us in spite of all that is more than I can truly understand. The good thing is that I don’t need to understand. I just need to accept it and seek to demonstrate that unfathomable love to a lost world.

So Many Storms, So Little Time

What a shocking week. Obama destroys the Rule of Law by effectively pardoning Hillary. Turkey doubles down on her rapprochement with Russia. We learned that investment in conventional oil development has collapsed. News of economic collapse gathers steam. Gold takes a big leap higher, and still has much higher to go. China teeters on the brink of a 1929-style Great Depression. Ramadan ends with dead bodies strewn everywhere. Matthew 24:7 comes to Dallas, where black shooters kill five police officers. A Palestinian terrorist murders a 13 year old American-Israeli girl in her bed.

And Typhoon Nepartak visits southern Taiwan and ignores my open invitation here in Taipei.

(sigh)

What a week.

Beware the Ides of March

Next week will mark a turning point. Either the Republic continues as it is, with all of its faults and corruptions, or it turns deeper into Empire. Rome stood at that same turning point more than two thousand years ago, and America is remarkably similar to Rome.

In fact, that similarity was by design.

Anyway, next week will be of enormous importance. Of course there will be other weeks of such importance, but there are few times in which such importance mimics history so closely and allows us to quote Shakespeare:

Beware the Ides of March!

A Long, Hot Summer

The next few months will verify the direction that we see the world going in. Syria will either survive, or the Gulf Arabs and Turkey will invade and destroy Damascus. Donald Trump will either receive the nomination and win the election, or the American elites will stage a coup and install Hillary Clinton. Either gold will rise and the Stock Market collapse, or the central bankers will be successful in heading off yet another financial armageddon. Either North Korea launches an EMP attack upon America, or the Chinese successfully suppress the chubby kid in Pyongyang.

I’m afraid that I’m not hopeful about ANY of the above.

It’s going to be a long, hot summer.

Interview on Hagmann and Hagmann

I had the pleasure of being a guest on the Hagmann and Hagmann Report on Friday evening, January 8th, 2016.

I always listen for mistakes before recommending ANY video, and that goes for any interview that I do. And yes, I did make a few mistakes, and there were a few extra things that I should have said, but didn’t.

All-in-all, I feel like it was a good interview. We packed a LOT into that one hour. I hope that you will agree.

If you don’t agree, let me know. I’m always open for constructive criticism.

(I’ve GOT to STOP saying “You know…” and “Okay”. Seriously!)
