Technical Issues Resolved – I Think

Hi Everyone,

I missed my weekend deadline ‘cuz I was moving from one server to two. And, I’m not completely certain that everything transferred properly. Nor am I completely sure that I set all the settings properly. I will need to do some tests to make sure that everything works the way that it should.

One of these days, I’ll hafta write a book of lamentations over the trials and tribulations of web server management.

Okay, an update about my current health concerns.

My oncologist is happy to see that my White Blood Cell count seems to be stable. And, if she’s happy, I’m prepared to be cautiously happy. Happy with reservations. But, somewhat-less-than-completely-enthusiastic.

Annnnnd, since I’m not suffering from anemia, I’m probably at the earliest stage of CLL. And, you can last a long time at that stage. That’s a good thing. And, I like good things.

However, there’s a possibility that I have Lymphoma, instead of CLL. So, it’s time for the doctors to pull out the garden tools and take a bone marrow biopsy. And yeah, the thing they use looks like a T-handled dibber that gardeners poke holes in the ground with.

Bleah.

Now is not the time for me to google “Bone Marrow Biopsy Horror Stories”. Not gonna do that. Not even a little.

The good thing is that God isn’t just in control… He knows what He’s doing. He loved me enough to send His Son die on the Cross and pay for my sins. If He loves me that much, I don’t have to worry about what happens next.

So, I’ll be fine.

And, if God loves you as much as He loves me, you’ll be fine, too.

God bless you all.

Yours in Christ,

John Little

  1. Hi John!

Cautiously optimistic with you! Thank you for the update and praying 🙏.

This song has been running through my head the last few days and sharing as an encouragement:
