At the beginning of January, it is a tradition to try and forecast the events of the coming year. And, I’ve tried to do that, every year, with limited success. Timing is not my strength, as I have demonstrated over the past few years. Having said that, there aren’t many who have done any better. So, I’m in good company.
However, there is one thing that I can predict with a great deal of confidence:
2019 will be difficult.
My fear is that this will be a great understatement. I certainly hope that it will be smooth sailing with perfect sunsets and fields of green. But, don’t bet on it.

The Little household in Tainan is starting to settle in a little more. There’s still a mess, but it’s a lot less than last week. And, I was able to get some research done. And, the good thing about unpacking and putting stuff on shelves – and building said shelves – is that you can listen to videos, while you do it. So, the number of videos is about the same, including those that I picked up the week before.
My hope is that next week will reflect more content than what you see today. Unfortunately, I will need to tear down my main computer and rebuild it, next week – with a new power supply and computer case. Power supplies (or PSUs) tend to die after a few years, and this one came early, after only two and a half years. It’s still under warranty, but I doubt that I’ll be able to get Silverstone to replace it. And, since it’s my main computer, I can’t afford to let it sit idle while a new one comes through.
So, that’s one ‘wrench in the works’.
However, there IS one really positive development that I’ve been looking forward to. And, that’s the recording studio that I will be able to set up. I’ll be doing it on as basic a budget as I can, while making is as professional as possible. And, I hope to show you what I did and how I did it, once I do it.
My goal with Omega Shock has been to get the message out to the Body of Christ, that deadly times are coming. Our job is to share the gospel of Christ to a dead and dying world, and we cannot do that, if we’ve perished in the coming cataclysms that will sweep the Earth. And, if it means devoting a room in our apartment, to a studio… so be it.
Prayer Requests
So, please be praying for the future of this website. I have what I believe to be good ideas, but I trust God more than my own ability to make these kinds of decisions. So, I’ll need lots of wisdom from God as I rush headlong into the future. So, you can think of 2019 as an interesting year of transition for Omega Shock.
Also, my personal funds are perilously close to the red line. Mrs. Little and I had a ‘retirement fund’ that would have been adequate for our older years, when we could no longer work, but we decided to devote that fund to this website and the evangelism that we do here in Taiwan.
We don’t expect to die of old age – or even reach retirement age. So, I don’t consider this to be such a great sacrifice. However, maintaining this effort is expensive, and we will be forced to choose between evangelism and producing content for Omega Shock. And, I’m afraid that evangelism trumps almost everything.
This means that we will probably start asking for donations in a couple of months. And no, I will not mind if they don’t come in. You have the right to donate to the projects that benefit you the most, and I respect that. Furthermore, I don’t enjoy writing these utterly horrifying articles and would prefer to take up my professional writing career again.
Seriously, if you don’t want to give money to this project, I encourage you not to!
Now, as for the evangelism, please pray for that. We were uprooted from Taipei, and plunked down in Tainan. It was God’s doing, so we know that there are opportunities for us to follow the Great Commission here. We just need to find out what they are. So, please pray for that.
There are few things that give me as much joy as sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. And, there is a real need here, for someone to do that. The only question is how God wants us to do that here.
One other personal obstacle is finding a church. I only know a few words of Chinese, and I refuse to weigh down Mrs. Little with the job of translating for me. It’s hard to contemplate a sermon, if you have to interpret that sermon for someone else in real time. So, I need to find an English-speaking congregation that is not in rebellion to the word of God.
And yes, there ARE English congregations here in Tainan. But, most of them are in open rebellion to the commandments of God. In fact, there’s one just a block or two away from us, but I just cannot go there. And they would not appreciate some over tall wild man, jumping up in outrage and yelling at them for preaching heresy.
I’ve done that, and I don’t want to.
Seriously, I kid you not. And, I hate having to do it.
Okay, enough about me. Let’s talk about you.
The Difficult Year
My hope is that I’m overstating the problems that lie in our path over the coming months, but I doubt it. And, those problems are pretty big. They might even be catastrophic. So, be ready for them.
The Economy
The best that we can hope for, in 2019, is a shallow dive into recession. We might not ‘technically’ have a recession in 2019 – at least, not according to the official numbers. However, I believe that we would be IN A RECESSION RIGHT NOW, if we were crunching the numbers like we did in 1985. The US government starting lying about the economy in the ’80s, and they’ve lied more and more over the intervening years.
So, expect economic trouble.
One way to see how well the world economy is doing, is by watching China. When China falls, expect the worst, since she is the world’s manufacturer.
Finance
Believe it or not, but there IS a difference between finance and the economy. Yes, they influence each other, but a financial crash does not mean that the economy will fail. Not always. The same goes in reverse.
Unfortunately, a financial crash COULD destroy the system that the economy depends upon. And, it’s hard to know how fragile the financial system is, since the banks have been lying to us about how healthy they are. We know that they are lying. We just don’t know how MUCH they are lying.
We’ve been watching some of the indicators of how healthy the banks are, and it doesn’t look good. The bond markets look unnatural, and the stock markets are completely irrational. Also, real estate looks like it is imploding everywhere in the world. And, commodities… well …it’s hard to say what would be a good idea.
Gold And Silver
The one bright spot might be gold and silver. Their price per ounce seems to be holding steadily at the cost of extraction. This means that they are horribly undervalued, the only investment that seems to be so.
When things fall apart, gold and silver will probably be the only safe haven that investors will flee to. I honestly don’t know of anything else to invest in.
If you don’t like the idea of precious metals – and I understand that – follow Gregory Mannarino or Martin Armstrong. Greg gives his advice away for free, and he’s a great guy with a big heart, who really wants to help people survive and thrive the coming apocalypse. Martin doesn’t have the luxury of giving his advice away for free, after what the US government did to him, but he does give something away for free and does his best to offer other advice for a reasonable price. Those of you who have lots of money, would do well to subscribe to his premium service.
There is no one in the financial industry that is smarter that Martin Armstrong. Period. End of Story. I knew about him back when I was in finance, in the ’90s. And the US government knocked him down because he was too much of a threat to them, as well as wanting a ‘piece of the pie’.
For myself, I just can’t take the time to actively invest, when lives are at stake. So, what money is left, is in gold and silver.
Government Repression
Freedom will continue to decline everywhere in the world. No place will be safe, unless you have lots and lots and lots of money. And even then, you could become a target for greedy government.
Governments will be hunting for wealth to tax. Greed and desperation will be the rule of the day, as governments worry about declining revenues, as the economy deteriorates. If you don’t have much, you might be free from the avarice of your government, but you won’t be free from the jack boots of martial law, if things collapse too quickly.
China is already leading the way, and our Christian brothers and sisters are suffering for it. That suffering will increase, and I hope that you will pay attention to the imprisonment of Pastor Wang in China. I am grateful to PrepperGal for sharing that with us, and you will see it at the beginning of the research section below.
My hope is that you will not be suffering like he is, right now. But, our time is coming – especially for those of us who live in truly immoral societies like the US and Europe. Morality has always been a bellwether for freedom. Moral societies can be free. Immoral societies cannot. You’ll see more about that, in the research section, too.
Grand Solar Minimum
I’ll be talking more about this in 2019, as we see more and more signs that we are moving into the worst solar minimum in over a thousand years. Hopefully, this one will only be as bad as the Maunder Minimum. That one was bad, and a lot of people suffered and died because of it. But, this could be far, far worse.
In fact, I believe that the Bible indicates that it will be worse, leading to widespread conflict and even war. Malnutrition will lead to ‘pestilence’ and mass migration. And then, those who cannot flee famine… well …they’ll just die of starvation.
We won’t see all that in 2019, but we’ll see more signs that it’s coming. My hope is that we will be seeing something less severe than what seems to be coming.
Just remember that these ARE the Last Days, and the Last Days were always going to be bad.
Sanity And Morality
Expect people to be less moral and more insane. We haven’t hit rock bottom, and I don’t think that we will, until the Lord returns. We certainly will spiral ever deeper into the abyss during this year. In fact, if you thought that 2018 was bad, expect 2019 to be worse.
Some countries might get a grip and pull back from the brink. But, I don’t know what country that would be. Pornography, sexual promiscuity, unfaithfulness, dishonesty, violence and murder will only increase. Obscenity has become the watchword of our societies, and there are few untouched by it.
Even the somewhat puritanical Taiwan has been corrupted by America’s fornication and sorcery. They’ve been pushing back with limited success, but they weren’t quite so pure to begin with. They just weren’t as bad as the US. Now, they’re trying to catch up.
The Coming Judgment Of The US
Do not expect that the obscene, vicious and vile corruption of the US and EU to be dealt with properly. I am horrified and horribly angry at the evil of the US – the country of my birth. If I could burn my passport, I would. I am ashamed to be an American, while my country engages in evil, in my name.
There are still good Americans. And, I hope that God restrains His justified wrath from destroying those parts of America where they live. But, God did not withhold His judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah, because of Lot, so don’t expect the same for you. Please think about moving to a more righteous area of the US, if you find that morality has collapsed in your area.
I don’t know that God will judge America in 2019. But, judgment is coming. And, I certainly believe that God has handed America over to Satan, at the very minimum. Those of you living in the US, might not see it, because it has crept up on you. But, I see it all too clearly from my vantage point on the other side of the planet.
Judgment is coming, so please take the time to prepare for it, this year.
Oh, and Mrs. Little has been feeling the need to increase our preparations, and I trust her feelings more than my own.
READ YOUR BIBLE!
I began the next reading cycle, for my yearly read-through of the Bible, and I hope that you have done the same. You don’t need to do it like I do, but you need to be reading your Bible. Every day, for at least several minutes. In fact, a quarter or half an hour would best. In fact, go for an hour of reading, if you feel led to do so.
You will desperately need the spiritual nourishment as the days grow darker. The Bible will show you the sins that you must work on. It will give you the wisdom to make the right decisions. It will be the way that the Holy Spirit reaches into your life and guides you to safety. You MUST breathe deep the precious words of God, if you wish to keep your head, while everyone else is losing there’s.
So please, dedicate yourself to consuming the whole word of God. All of it. As much as you can. Nothing has had a greater impact in my life, than that. It has – through the Holy Spirit – rescued me from a lot of foolishness. And, I want this for you, more than anything else.
May God bless all of you in the coming year. It will be difficult, but you will be fine, if you are truly doing everything that you can to serve God. There is nothing more important than that, and it’s our minimum level of service.

A Chinese Pastor’s Declaration of Faithful Disobedience – Blog – Eternal Perspective Ministries
PrepperGal shared this in the comment section, and I am grateful that she did. I don’t know if I would have found this, any other way. And, it is a powerful testament of how we as Christians must act, when the authorities come to take us away. And yes, one day, it will come.
You are not allowed to act in violence. You are forbidden this. And, this pastor is a shining example of the rule and foundations laid for us in Christ. And, I am grateful to this pastor that he is such an awesome servant of God. May the Lord give him peace and freedom. May his suffering be short. May his spiritual strength remain, when the physical is damaged. May he be returned to his family, safe and sound.
But, if it is the will of God that he die in captivity, my hope is that his witness shine brightly to all in China and the rest of the world.
In fact, let me read a bit from his letter:
As a pastor of a Christian church, I have my own understanding and views, based on the Bible, about what righteous order and good government is. At the same time, I am filled with anger and disgust at the persecution of the church by this Communist regime, at the wickedness of their depriving people of the freedoms of religion and of conscience. But changing social and political institutions is not the mission I have been called to, and it is not the goal for which God has given his people the gospel.

For this reason, I accept and respect the fact that this Communist regime has been allowed by God to rule temporarily. As the Lord’s servant John Calvin said, wicked rulers are the judgment of God on a wicked people, the goal being to urge God’s people to repent and turn again toward Him. For this reason, I am joyfully willing to submit myself to their enforcement of the law as though submitting to the discipline and training of the Lord.
At the same time, I believe that this Communist regime’s persecution against the church is a greatly wicked, unlawful action. As a pastor of a Christian church, I must denounce this wickedness openly and severely. The calling that I have received requires me to use non-violent methods to disobey those human laws that disobey the Bible and God. My Savior Christ also requires me to joyfully bear all costs for disobeying wicked laws.
But this does not mean that my personal disobedience and the disobedience of the church is in any sense “fighting for rights” or political activism in the form of civil disobedience, because I do not have the intention of changing any institutions or laws of China. As a pastor, the only thing I care about is the disruption of man’s sinful nature by this faithful disobedience and the testimony it bears for the cross of Christ.

This is why I am not interested in changing any political or legal institutions in China. I’m not even interested in the question of when the Communist regime’s policies persecuting the church will change. Regardless of which regime I live under now or in the future, as long as the secular government continues to persecute the church, violating human consciences that belong to God alone, I will continue my faithful disobedience. For the entire commission God has given me is to let more Chinese people know through my actions that the hope of humanity and society is only in the redemption of Christ, in the supernatural, gracious sovereignty of God.

Those who lock me up will one day be locked up by angels. Those who interrogate me will finally be questioned and judged by Christ. When I think of this, the Lord fills me with a natural compassion and grief toward those who are attempting to and actively imprisoning me. Pray that the Lord would use me, that he would grant me patience and wisdom, that I might take the gospel to them.

The second boundary is that of behavior. The gospel demands that disobedience of faith must be non-violent. The mystery of the gospel lies in actively suffering, even being willing to endure unrighteous punishment, as a substitute for physical resistance. Peaceful disobedience is the result of love and forgiveness. The cross means being willing to suffer when one does not have to suffer. For Christ had limitless ability to fight back, yet he endured all of the humility and hurt. The way that Christ resisted the world that resisted him was by extending an olive branch of peace on the cross to the world that crucified him.
This pastors knows the way of Christ. And I pray that you will also take this to heart. Our turn will come one day. And, we will suffer like he does. If we are lucky, we will die before this happens. But, those who go through this kind of persecution and stand firm, will receive great reward in heaven. Great reward.
Again, take this man’s witness to heart. Those of you who wish to take up arms, are sinning against God and sinning against the Gospel. Our job is to win souls, not take them. And, those who believe in violence are poluting the gospel that Jesus commanded us to spread.
So, I call the judgment of God upon all who seek violent revolution. May His wrath be upon you, until you repent. But, I call a blessing upon all who submit to the Gospel. May Pastor Wang’s message resonate in your heart and in your life.

The good thing, is that there is a God in heaven who will not allow them to control the minds of His people. And, if necessary, God will destroy America to make sure that this research stops – assuming that such mind control is possible. And, I mean mind control using just external inputs like microwaves, hallucinogenics or ultrasound.
What this video discuses is mind control experiments using electrodes implanted in the skulls of their victims. It also discusses surgical procedures used to destroy the minds of people, to understand how the mind works.

The left will make 2019 a dark year – WND
I hate quoting so much of an article. It feels like I’m taking advantage of the author. But, as I read the first big paragraph, I thought, “I’ll quote that.” Then I read the next one.
“Oh, I’ll quote that, too.” Then, the third and the fourth. In fact, I was tempted to quote the whole thing. Sorely tempted. It’s that good of an article. Of course, you shouldn’t be surprised at my desire to do so, when you realize that the author is Dennis Prager. He’s an awesome writer and speaker, and this is a particularly awesome bit of writing.
Here are the paragraphs that I just had to quote:
2019 will be a dark year in America.
Thanks to the left’s control of the House of Representatives and the news media, Americans will be kept in a fevered state throughout 2019 – with innumerable hearings, exposés, criminal investigations and possible indictments of those around the president and the president himself. Truth will not be the point. Defamation will. Anything that might muddy the president, no matter how spurious, no matter how thin the evidence, will be pursued with gusto. The media will drop “bombshell” after “bombshell.” If lives and careers are ruined, so much the better; no one should be associating with this president anyway, as far as the left is concerned. The Robert Mueller investigation into alleged “collusion” between the Trump campaign and the Russian government – which has led to guilty pleas and imprisonment of people around President Trump for offenses having nothing to do with such collusion – is a preview of what lies ahead.

The misuse of government institutions for political ends is indeed a fascist tactic. But because most media serve as the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party, there will be no protest from the media, only support.
There is nothing Trump or any member of his administration has done that is comparable to Hillary Clinton’s use of her own email server while U.S. secretary of state, or her destroying tens of thousands of emails after they were subpoenaed by Congress, or foreign governments’ and corporations’ paying vast sums of money to Bill Clinton and The Clinton Foundation while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state. Nor is there anything Trump or anyone in his administration has done comparable to the Obama administration’s use of the IRS to suppress conservative nonprofits; its selling guns to Mexican drug cartels, at least one of which was later found at the scene where a Border Patrol officer was killed; or the lies it told about the cause of the murder of a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans in Benghazi. Yet any suggestion by Republicans that these activities be investigated is effectively shouted down by the Democrats and the media. And let’s not talk about the real collusion in 2016 – between the FBI, the State Department, the Clinton campaign and the Obama White House, using material sourced in part from the Russian government – to undermine the Republican candidate for president and his presidency. The mainstream media aren’t interested in that.
In other words, the Democratic Party and the media will do to American political life what it has done to the arts; the universities; the high schools; the Boy Scouts; race relations; religion; the happiness of so many women (misled by feminism regarding marriage and career); the moral fabric of American life (morality reduced to feelings); late-night television; mainstream Judaism, Catholicism and Protestantism; pro football; and the sexual innocence of the young: It will poison it.
There’s nothing else to add to that.

The Next End of the World | C.I.A. Classified – YouTube
Chris in Poland shared two YouTube videos in the comment section. This one provides an interesting idea. And, it’s an idea that migth describe how God destroyed human civilization in the Great Flood.
And, Ben Davidson is reading from a recently declassified document, from the CIA. Describing how the world COULD be destroyed again.
The difference between what is described here and what the Bible describes, is that the land mass BEFORE the Great Flood, was all one piece. And, it was still one piece, after the Great Flood. Remember that the Bible speaks of the land masses separating during the time of Peleg (Gen 10:25).
And, this description provides a lot of answers that we’ve been puzzling over, from the fossil record, as well as those animals that were ‘flash-frozen’.
Will this happen again?
No, it will not. God promised to never again destroy the earth by water. The next destruction will be by fire.

This next video from Chris presents an idea that I have heard nowhere else:

As I was writing Ezekiel’s Fire, I stumbled acros the idea of a SuperFlare. They had seen something like that, from G-class stars like our own. But, I always wondered at the statistical probability of being able to SEE a superflare that just happens to be visible, from our direction.
But, what about a micronova?
THAT makes a LOT more sense to me, and it looks like I will need to create a second edition of Ezekiel’s Fire, to include this new idea. A micronova also conforms more closely to what Isaiah was talking about in chapter 30.
I call it Isaiah’s Sun, and a micronova makes a lot of sense. A terrifying kind of sense, if you don’t believe in God. Since you and I do, we have nothing to worry about, except preparation.
Think of this ‘micronova’ as a flare that blasts out in every direction, all at once – making the sun, seven times brighter and the moon as bright as the sun.
Now, this video goes into what some consider to be a geological record that points to more than six thousand years of history. Ignore that discussion. It’s false.
Why?
Because they are operating out of a baseline that is far too long. They are making assumptions based upon an idea that God does not exist. Except that God DOES exist, and He is not amused by their rebellion – although, He DOES laugh at their foolish denials of the obvious.

When you click that link, you will see pictures of pain. You will see suffering. And, while it is a sin to be addicted to opioids, I don’t blame them. I blame the pushers and the distributors.
And, the biggest is the CIA.
Yes, there are other organizations bringing the opioids into America. But, the CIA is the biggest and the worst.
And, I will feel a profound relief when that organization is destroyed. May the wrath of God be upon those evil people until they repent or are sent to their just reward of everlasting punishment.

Maitreya – New World Encyclopedia
So, as I was doing some research into this Maitreya guy, I found this link. And, here is the first paragraph:
Maitreya, the “future Buddha” in Buddhist eschatology, is a Bodhisattva that many Buddhists believe will eventually appear on earth, achieve complete enlightenment, and teach the pure dharma. As such, he will be the spiritual successor of the historic Śākyamuni Buddha. The idea is that he will ‘rescue’ the world from all the problems that will come. He will come and rule the earth with a ‘pure dharma’.

This was a wide-ranging, entertaining interview with a very, very smart guy who does NOT take himself seriously. And, he hits nails on heads. Firmly.
Some of what he says, you need to think through the math. And, he’s dead right on that math. Absolutely dead right. There are certain cases where he’d be wrong, but they are minor and only apply in a rational world.
The bottom line about this interview?
We’re in trouble kids. Real trouble.
