Sin Destroys the Mind

Looking back over the events of the past week, one thing rings clear. Corruption and insanity go together. There’s a causal link between the two, and it is corruption that is the cause. And, we even have scientific proof to back up this assertion.

We have become insane, because we have chosen sin over righteousness.

Our founding fathers knew this, and even the worst of them – Benjamin Franklin – was clear on the need for morality and ethics for our freedom to be free. But, we lost our way and traded our freedom and sanity for pretty trinkets and shiny toys.

————————————

What irony that the signature of our Creator would apply itself to the mind. I use the word ‘irony’ only for those scientists who persist in denying God, when the evidence of His existence is everywhere.

But, the mind?

Yes, the mind.

We don’t think of sin and corruption as a cause of brain damage, but PBS actually aired a television program that proves that to be the case. Your ability to be horrified by the horrifying is eroded when you engage in sin and support those who do. And, we’re not used to science proving that.

Of course, the Bible has been telling us this for thousands of years, but we tend to forget that the Bible is a manual for sanity and common sense. We’re not used to thinking of real consequences for moral failures. But, this thoughtlessness is extremely foolish, since we have more than science as proof.

Just look at history. It’s a story of one stupid mistake after another. The story of catastrophe and absolute insanity is everywhere in history. And, it’s a depressing description of our inability to keep our civilizations from falling apart.

Why must we be so stupid?

I keep asking that question, even though I know the answer. And, I will be reading that answer again, in January, when I start next year’s Bible reading plan. And, I encourage all of you to pick up a One Year Bible and read through it with me.

If sin rots the mind, then the antidote is righteousness. But, you can’t know what that is, unless you’ve read the manual and committed it to your heart. And, you cannot truly know the price that Jesus paid, to make us free from this insanity, if you don’t know what it was that He paid for.

What an amazing God that we have, for Him to send His only Son to die for those who did not deserve it in any way. And, when you see the section below on the collapse of Christianity in America, you will understand just how little we deserve Christ’s sacrifice for ourselves.

The thought that the truth and the church could be abandoned so easily and so quickly… well …I can only ask God to save us from our own stupidity. But, the cost will be high, for the only way that I can see America returning to Christ, is for America to suffer greatly.

After all, it was our prosperity and love of wealth that destroyed our morality. And, the coming financial collapse will forge the chains that will enslave us all. And we will only have ourselves to blame.

We enjoyed the sin far too much, and it destroyed our sanity.

IF YOU READ NOTHING ELSE…

Yup, more than just special, these links appear to be the most important of all. Seriously, start with these.

And yes, these are pretty serious.

2018 11 18 Justin Blanton – “The New Apostolic Movement, Part 2” – YouTube

This is part two of a two part video series that I introduced last week about the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR). And, I am truly shocked by what I heard.

Oh, and please do not be put off by his dry style of delivery. Justin is not a ‘professional speaker’. What he doesn’t have in glitz and glamour, he makes up for in good, solid information. Now, on to my thoughts about what Justin says here.

The first thing that struck me was:

They actually say that Jesus had to be BORN AGAIN? That He was not fully God?

Wow.

In fact, I almost had a ‘meltdown’ then and there. I actually did not need to listen to the rest of what Justin said. That was enough. But, I kept on listening, and you should, too.

Now, as you listen to the rest of this, notice something important. Is there ANY obedience to the words of God from these NAR people?

Remember that that following Christ means SUBMITTING to Christ. It means OBEYING Christ. And, every word in the Bible is the word of God. They are the words of Christ, whether they are spoken by the Holy Spirit, the Father or Jesus Himself. They are ONE.

The point is this, that you can discern the truth about these people by seeing their obedience to what the Bible actually says. And, they are not.

This video is revealing incredible, incredible darkness within the Charismatic Movement – specifically, the New Apostolic Reformation.

Am I saying that Charismatics are not Christian?

No.

But, the leaders profiled in this video are not Christian. They can’t be, because they do not speak according to the Word of God. And, that is ALWAYS how you know that you have a false prophet.

If you want to listen to Part One of Justin’s presentation, it’s here:

This really is an Antichrist movement that is growing in wealth and power.

Asia Bibi’s family hunted by religious extremists going door-to-door – The Rebel

Pray for the Christians in Pakistan. Persecution is rising in that country, and it’s a true abomination.

And, I agree with this author that Britain and the United States should stop foreign aid to Pakistan until the persecution of Christians stops.

Oh, and pray for Asia Bibi and her suffering family. They stood for Christ, and now they are trying to kill them for it.

Is A Baby a “Choice”? – YouTube

I don’t normally let these through. I normally don’t like non-audio presentations. But, this is way too important to pass up.

This is a truly powerful message about WHY abortion is murder.

THE AMERICAN FALLING AWAY

Michael Snyder wrote an excellent piece about the destruction of Christianity in America, and it has happened from the inside out. And, this ‘fall from grace’ is accelerating at an obscene rate.

So, what I have done below is provide a link to his article, and then the links found within that article.

“Between 6,000 and 10,000 churches in the U.S. are dying each year” – and that means that over 100 will die this week – End Of The American Dream

When Obama declared that America was no longer a Christian nation, he was stating what he hoped was true. When you read this, you will understand that his proclamation was merely fact.

I point the finger of blame at the pulpit, where pastors have replaced the truth with lies that tickle and scratch the ear. But, I also know that these false pastors had a tremendous amount of help.

Seminaries brainwashed their students with outright lies and half-truths. Televangelists blared preached an empty doctrine of false healing and sugar-coated prosperity. And, when our congregations committed fornication, adultery, greed, theft, dishonesty, substance abuse, and the defamation of fellow brothers and sisters, our pastors just patted them on the head and told them that they were just fine.

Is it any wonder that half of all pastors are regular consumers of pornography?

Yes. That’s right. Half.

As a result, a hundred churches died this week. A hundred. Probably more than that.

Some of them died because their pastors actually told them the truth. That does happen, and I know one pastor who won’t tell his congregation the truth, because he’ll lose two thirds of his congregation.

He’s a coward, and he’s very high up in the Southern Baptist Convention. Very high. And, we wouldn’t be in this problem if our pastors weren’t such cowards.

Of course, the problem is bigger than that. Even though the first cause of our downfall resides in the lies, corruption and weakness in our pulpits, that’s not the only source of trouble.

Remember that we liked what our pastors taught us. We enjoyed the lies that they preached. We encouraged them in their weakness and corruption. And, we sent our sons off to seminary, thinking that we were doing a good thing.

Well, we weren’t. We lied to ourselves that taking the easy route was for the best. We thought that sugar-coating the truth, to make it more palatible for the unsaved would be more acceptible than it purity.

We cast away the knowledge that God is the Author of salvation. We conveniently chose to forget that it is the unvarnished truth and the untainted love of God that draws people to salvation.

Salvation is a narrow and difficult path, and the truth of that is painful. It hurts our pride and tells us that we are less than nothing without Christ.

We forgot that it is God that brings people to our churches. But, He will only bring His children to us if they are going to hear the TRUTH.

Did we honestly think that God would bring His precious children to our churches, if they would not be hearing the truth that they so desparately need?

God’s precious children need the truth, and we chose to not give it to them. We chose to starve them of the nourishment that they needed to grow into healthy reflections of Christ on this Earth.

We did this, so now our churches die.

And, when the churches die, the nation dies.

A hundred churches died this week. A hundred more will die next week. And, there will be no one to blame, but you and me. We did this, and we will suffer greatly because of it.

Never forget that there is always a price for sin. Always.

What Should America Do With Its Empty Church Buildings? – The Atlantic

This is the article that inspire Michael Snyder’s great article. You can tell that the writer of this piece isn’t much of a Christian. It looks like he claims to be a Christian. He even wrote a book. This one:

Learning to Speak God from Scratch: Why Sacred Words Are Vanishing–and How We Can Revive Them

From reaIt’s pure pablum. No, scratch that. It’s worse than pablum. It’s poison. It’s a glossing over of the truth of the Bible. It’s about words without substance.

It’s his own ‘post-modern’ re-imagining of what truth is. And, you can tell from what hes says in his article, that he doesn’t know WHAT the truth is, and WHERE you can find it.

But, there is some silver lining to this article.

Notice the identity of the churches that are closing:

St. Vincent De Paul Church

St. Augustine’s Church in South Boston

St. Francis de Sales Church

White Rock United Methodist Church

Bethesda United Methodist Church

Those churches were dead before they died. And, you can tell that the writer doesn’t understand where the life of a church comes from, in this quote:

Any minister can tell you that the two best predictors of a congregation’s survival are “budgets and butts,” and American churches are struggling by both metrics.

That’s the same belief of that high-ranking pastor in the Southern Baptist Church. He feels the need to maximize budgets and butts.

A congregation survives upon the Truth and the Holy Spirit that reveals it. It survives upon the Father leading the unsaved to the church, where each man, woman and child can hear the pure gospel and receive eternal life in Christ.

And, the writer of this article does not understand that. Not at all.

Hope for Dying Churches | Facts & Trends

The Atlantic article referenced this one. This is where we find the disturbing fact that between 6,000 and 10,000 churches are dying each year. And, you can tell that the writer of this article has a much better understanding of what it means to be a Christian.

In fact, this writer might even BE a Christian. He certainly exhibits more understanding of what a Christian is. But, as much as I rejoice in these signs of life, the marks of corruption are still there.

Yes, our churches need to reach out into our communities with the gospel. After all, it’s our number one job. It is our purpose.

In fact, my own view of the purpose of the church his this:

Christians have only two purposes:

Sharing the gospel.

Helping others share the gospel.

Everything else is in one of those two categories. And, I literally mean E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. The job of a pastor and the elders is to build up the spiritual lives of the congregation so that they are able to share the gospel. And, the job of the congregation is to make sure that the truth of Christ is known everywhere.

A church that is not directly and energetically engaged in building up Christians so that they can share the gospel, is dead. If you want an example in scripture of what I’m talking about, look at the words of Jesus in the parable of the talents.

Dead churches bury their talents in the earth. And, I must confess that I grew up in a church that did just that. And, I am ashamed that it has taken me so long to understand how important and vital evangelism is.

I am truly grateful to God that I am married to a woman who is such a powerful evangelist.

Exodus: Why Americans are Leaving Religion—and Why They’re Unlikely to Come Back | PRRI

The most important part of this article is the first graph. In the seventies and eighties, only about six to seven percent of Americans rejected an organized belief in God. After the early ’90s, the growth of those rejecting God has grown exponentially.

If you want to chart the beginnings of the ‘Great Falling Away’, you need to start with the ’90s. And, when you consider the trend depicted in that graph, you should be horrified.

This is an exponential explosion in the rejection of God.

7 Startling Facts: An Up Close Look at Church Attendance in America

Now, add to these depressing facts the FACT that only 17.7% of Americans actually show up for church, on any given Sunday. And, maybe 23-25% of Americans show up for three out of eight Sundays.

And people wonder why America is falling.

Shocking Survey Finds That Americans Find More Meaning In Life From “Money” Than They Do From “Faith” – End Of The American Dream

What did Paul say to Timothy about this?

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

– 1 Timothy 6:10

Yeah. That sounds about right. And, it sounds so American.

God help us all.

I truly hope that you’ll be ready for this

A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.Proverbs 22:3

  1. Ummmm John, I told you about my serious memory problems?? I read oodles of stuff. I would check the US apatent office before I said Ebola might be a bioweapon. I remember reading the Patents, but I can’t remember if it was AIDS or Ebola. My dad read by a lot, and I remember him telling me in readers digest that Ebola was a serious flesheating disease. I never hear that point when it is mentioned these days.

    • Hi Mangledman,

Okay, maybe I should have said that the possibility of Ebola being a ‘bioweapon’ is so low, that it isn’t worth worrying about.

Please remember that they will never release this information, or take out a patent on it. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you. And yes, there are kooks out there who will take out patents on all kinds of things. Nowadays it doesn’t take much to apply for a patent.

Any crank can apply for a patent.

But, think about top-secret weapons projects. Would the US government, or ANY government, apply for a patent on something that they want NO ONE, ANYONE, to EVER know about?

      Of course not.

Remember, that Patent Law is not a part of the criminal justice system. It’s a part of civil law, something that we call tort. Therefore, it is of no use for governments, for secret projects like this.

Again, Ebola COULD be a bioweapon. But, the probability is small, and the evidence non-existent. But, if someone provides cold, hard facts to the contrary, I will gladly change my mind.

Thanks for that input, MM. I’m sure that you beat others to that point, and I needed to make myself more clear.

      Yours in Christ,

  2. John, I introduced Martin to you two years ago. Read the book, In the name of Science. By Andrew Goliszek. If you are able to finish it, It may be prudent to share your opionions with your viewers on this very disturbing topic.
    Keep the Faith!

    Peace Marc

    • Hi Marc,

Actually, you shared a link to Martin’s website about four years ago. And, I appreciate that input. In fact, I think that it was your very first comment.

I first ran into Armstrong’s work and theories in the mid-90’s, when I was on my way out of the finance industry. But, your comment was a great reminder that I needed to get back to paying attention to him.

The book that you mention looks like a good one. Unfortunately, the threats that we all face are so huge, that I’m not sure that I can spend as much time as I would like on those foul and evil experiments. The darkness inside the US government is truly amazing, and it’s truly sickening.

The good thing is that you are aware that not everything is as it seems. Just remember that there is a hierarchy to the threats that we face.

You’ve left a lot of great comments over the years, Marc. I really appreciate it. Keep up the good work!

  3. The Bantu’s and their descendants (African slaves in north and south America) who were taken into slavery via transatlantic and arab slave trade are the true Hebrews. Out of all peoples of the world, only the Bantus have been taken as slaves into all 4 corners of the world. This has not happened to any other group. The Bantus alone fit these prophecies. Today they have become a byword (nigger, monkey etc), an astonishment (black people) and the lowest of peoples world wide. But they will rise again at the end. Happy reading and thanks for posting as promised.

    [EDITED BY JL FOR LENGTH]

    • Hi NET,

      So, that’s your proof?

Yes, I know that I edited out all the verses that you gave, and I understand those verses. But, I could ascribe those verses to a bunch of other people as well. The Roma, the Hittites, the Assyrians, The Greeks, the Macedonians, the Aryans, and on and on. According to YOUR argument, the East Asians, have a bigger claim than you will EVER have.

But, did you know that there is a statue, in Tainan – a city, here in Taiwan – of a Jewish general, during the Ching dynasty?

Yet, not a single ‘Bantu’ has ever appeared in Taiwan. EVER.

Just because the Bantus were sent into slavery, doesn’t mean that they are of the tribes of Israel. And, I’m truly sorry that you have placed this much faith in such flimsy evidence.

Your eternity is at stake, NET. If your evidence is this weak, you should be very afraid of what will happen to you after this life is over.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  4. I know not everything is absolutely true, and there can even be fake pages to make me think I am reading actual patents. I have read a few patents on some strange stuff ie Terminator seeds. There will always remain more questions than answers. Being interested in medicine at a young age, I particularly like biological stuff. I particularly like things that are absolute. Cells do exist, this is what they do! Kinda stuff.
CDC finds 31 cases. My brain bombards me with questions. Do we trust the CDC? What is their track record? Would they poison people? What about Russian Roulette? Lace one vaccine in 200, and create a new disease. 1 in 50 children in the US, now end up Autistic, that would be 2% of the population. It has been about 3-4 months now the CDC, and the FDA both stated yeah aluminum in vaccines, linked (mumble mumble) then media silence. (Limited hangout). I have noticed through years that a lot of health issues mirror each other. Black mold exposure has half the symptoms of fibromyalgia, has symptoms similar to microwave radiation sensitivity, and new signs and symptoms have similarities with metals exposure.

I thought I read above, that you said Israel, and Taiwan don’t get chemtrails. That very thought went through my head as I was driving the other day, and I wondered if you spent much time driving in Indiana. There are no bugs. We no longer have to scrape off the bugs between rainstorms. Today as I thought this, it, and you living here, I thought do you remember the grackels the big blackbirds that used block out the sun because the flocks were huge. They are almost gone. Starlings are still here, but flocks are smaller. Roadkill is few and far between, and there are very few hunters. Life is leaving this place in all forms. WATCH AND PRAY!! Manglz says keep your steel sharp, and keep your powder dry.

  5. Captcha did this last time, when I put in # I got the flag said it was wrong, so I sent it blank, and it went through.

  6. I’ve been told that if you want to keep something secret, you do NOT apply for a patent. That would be the last thing you’d do, because it would explain to everyone how you did what you did.

    • Hi DRG,

      Excellent point.

My sister and I both worked for Lilly, once upon a time, and certain areas of certain buildings were as top secret as you could get. The point was to give themselves as much time as possible to experiment with certain compounds, before issuing a patent. And, once a patent is submitted, the clock starts ticking. When the clock runs out, the generics get their chance at bat.

And, rumors abound of unpatented military technology that will NEVER be patented. The Russians were recently seen replacing certain electronics in their S-300 anti-aircraft missile batteries, given to the Syrians, with downgraded replacements – for fear of the Americans figuring out how some of their systems worked.

It’s a big ‘cat and mouse’ game.

      Great point, DRG. Thanks!

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  7. Hey, on the vaccine thing I saw India has a lawsuit because they have a huge polio outbreak from polio vaccine. Over 40,000 cases

Check out Terminator seed corn at patent office.

The NWO likes to brag in advance what they are doing

  8. Hello again from Kenya. For one of the articles about dying churches, you wrote that you believe that Christians have only two purposes, spreading the gospel and supporting those who do. I doubt we have any fundamental disagreement here, but I do question that statement.

Now, I love it when God uses me as a channel for drawing unsaved people toward Himself. I heartily agree that, as Christians, we must love, care for, and extend toward the lost people of the world. However, I wonder if the church has missed God’s direction by emphasizing this part of our role to the detriment of other parts of our Christian witness.

In my missionary work here in Kenya, I do interact with some unsaved people, but, with over 90 percent of the local population being professing Christians of some sort or other, the majority of people I encounter will consider themselves to be Christian. The longer I stay here, the more I see my role as a missionary mainly to the churches themselves. In the West, Christians look with hope toward the “Global South” with its huge Christian populations, but here on the ground, it looks different. So many of the churches have strayed so far that they only vaguely resemble Christianity. There is rampant fraud and hypocrisy among much of the leadership, and the level of teaching within the churches is too poor to adequately describe. For instance, it is rare for us to find any young adults with even the basic knowledge of what it means to be a Christian. We teach them the fundamentals, repentance, forgiveness, and salvation, and it is new to them, even though they have attended church all their lives. It extends to every area, including a near total ignorance of the Bible throughout the church.

The basic gospel message has been preached here energetically and successfully in the past, but there has been a failure to foster and nourish spiritual growth in the churches that were formed. Africa is rife with entrenched cultural problems and downright demonic evil. They really need the freedom that real salvation would bring, but the church is so anemic here that they, as a whole, haven’t made significant progress against the entrenched evil. Instead, much like the Catholics did with European paganism, they have simply stamped it with their name and given it social acceptance.

I wonder if part of the problem is in our focus as Christians. It may be dangerous to make simple statements of our purpose, but instead of focusing outward on “the world”, is it possible that our real purpose should be inward on each of our relationships with God? If we find reality there, it will be abundantly proven in everything we do – our outreach to all, sacrificial love, and strength to stand against the world.

    • Hi JRIreland,

I cannot commend you enough in the work that you both are doing. Well done.

As for my point, I fully admit that I am painting with an incredibly broad brush. And, my definition of the gospel is not the narrow one that most people use.

I could put it just as easily, that our job is to serve God, and to help others serve God. That’s a better statement, but I find that most Christians do not understand that our primary purpose is to be Christ’s ‘First Responders’. We are all on a rescue mission. Some of us are on the sharp end of that mission. Some are part of the support. We’re all kinda both.

Someone once told me that the most important mission field is the American Church. Unfortunately, there is far too much truth in what he told me. Our congregations are full of people who have not dedicated their lives to God, and I worry about their eternal fate.

It sounds like the churches in Kenya are in desperate need of those who would lead them to be true disciples of Jesus Christ. I know that it sounds strange to be missionaries to those who think that they are Christian, but that’s what you are. And, for those that you meet who ARE Christian, your job is to build them up so that they can do the same to others.

We each have our place within the Body of Christ. Each of us has a vital place of service. Every, eye, nose, ear, hand, foot, finger and toe is of vital importance.

But, what is the purpose of The Body?

The salvation of the Lost and the preservation of those who are saved.

Hopefully, I addressed your points. If I didn’t let me know. I sometimes get caught up in my own thoughts.

Keep up the good work, Jon! It sounds like you both are playing a vital role in Kenya. I truly wish that there were more of you, with the same dedication.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little
