Why Israel Matters – Dr. Randall Smith

With the horrifying events that are bearing down upon us, you desperately need to understand WHY Israel is at the center of it all. And, it is the center of it all.

Please understand that we are at the end of history. Everything that has gone before, has been leading up to this moment in time. Yes, the war was won 2000 years ago, but the fighting isn’t over. And, I was deeply impressed by a presentation given by a neighbor of mine, from Jerusalem.

This presentation illustrates THE POINT. And, you need to get that POINT, to navigate the events that we are about to experience.

MP3 Audio:

When I look over the landscape of events, I see so much to talk about that it is often hard to choose what to write and say. And, this week was full of incredible events that have exploded across the headlines. And, I see signs of some of the things that I have been yelling about, coming to pass.

That would normally give me more to write about than I could pack into a single article. But, what I am about to show you is bigger than all of that, COMBINED. And yes, I really mean that.

I Get A Link

On Monday, Karen J sent me a link. I tend to trust Karen’s research, even though I can only share a fraction of what she sends me. That link turned out to be this:

2018 06 09 Dr. Randall Smith – Session 1- “Why Israel Matters”

YouTube shortlink: https://youtu.be/u5TvxXF7Qfk

When I saw his face, I thought… Hey, I know this guy. And sure enough, he lived in my neighborhood of Gilo and went through the Second Intifada, like I did. And, his presentation is EXACTLY what I would have given, if I had been given if I had been standing where he was standing.

In fact, I think that he did it much better than I would have. So, if you need someone to talk about ‘Why Israel Matters’, don’t call me. Call Randall Smith.

He KNOWS why Israel matters, and he did an excellent job of telling us why. In fact, if I was looking for a church to attend, I would stop looking, when I hit his church. He’s that good.

And yes, I know that he’s a Dispensationalist, which means that I would bug him to death about why I think that he’s wrong in his eschatology. I’m just a joy to be around.

An OOPS! Happens

Since that was Session 1, I KNEW that there had to be a Session 2, and here it is:

2018 06 09 Dr Randall Smith – Session 2 – “He Who Has Ears To Hear”

YouTube shortlink: https://youtu.be/aTf_Oi6ySTY

As I was listening to him speak, I was nodding and saying “Amen!” to everything that he said. I was a bundle of enthusiasm for both Session 1 and Session 2, until I heard him say something that made me squawk in shock and consternation.

He said …WHAT?!

But, let me roll back a bit to the point where he starts the segment that made me howl:

I have fast-forwarded to the 23 minute mark, where he leads up to my upset. Here’s the shortlink for that ‘fast-forwarded’ point:

A little after the 23 minute mark, he says that the center of the story is:

“Two Marriages”

That statement went right over my head. I had never heard that before, and it didn’t make a lot of sense to me. And, it could have been a discussion about how the unsaved are ‘married’ to Satan, or some such thing. So, I didn’t flinch.

He then goes on to speak about God creating the Universe and the Earth, but just uses the term God.

Then he speaks about God choosing one nation and then, speaking about God:

“I want to bequeath myself to her, as her husband.”

That statement is fine, because that is a reflection of Hosea. And, it’s a symbolism also used in the New Testament. So, there’s no reason to object until the the 27 minute mark, where he says:

“I want Israel to be my wife, says the Father in Heaven”

That statement didn’t make me squawk, but it should have. I was too caught up in the flow of his story. And, I was too used to people making these kinds of errors that are usually minor.

And, it also means that Dr. Smith is confusing God the Father with God the Son. It was God the Son that was the Creator. Not God the Father. Just read John 1, if you are confused. To make it more clear, let me say:

And, it’s important that you get that.

Then at the 27 minute and 48 second mark, I heard something that almost made me jump out of my chair. And yes, there was yelling. Lots. Dr. Smith said:

“The bride of Christ is not the bride of the Father.”

He goes on from there to elaborate on what he said, but it was just insult added to injury. In fact, there are statements that he continued to make that caused me to wail in shock, horror and anguish. And, the pain was pretty much over by the 31:50 mark.

He said that there are TWO MARRIAGES!

I can’t tell you how upset that makes me. It is certainly NOT what the Bible says. It is NOT what the Bible teaches. But, I understand that he MUST say this.

Because you don’t get a Pretribulation Rapture, if you don’t say that. In fact, if you don’t say that, you can’t have Dispensationalism. But, there are gigantic problems with this, and I can only address a few of them.

First Problem

1st Problem – What about all those who were before Abraham?

Under his idea, they aren’t in the ‘Bride of the Father’.

Are they just ‘castaways’?

Remember that the father-in-law of Moses was the priest of Midian. And, Moses did NOT reject him. Likewise Balaam the son of Beor, was a prophet of God, but not an Israeli.

Does this tell you that there were people before Abraham that walked with God?

Of course it does. They eventually died out until only Israel had the way of salvation. But, the point is that there cannot be TWO MARRIAGES!!!!!

Second Problem

2nd Problem – Nothing is said in the Bible about two marriages.

Yes, there are places in the Bible that speak of marriage. Lots of places. But, that does not mean that there are two marriages.

Furthermore, the idea of marriage is a metaphor – just as the references to us being priests and kings in the New Testament. Yes, Paul speaks of us judging the angels (1 Corinthians 6:3), but that doesn’t change the fact that these are metaphors.

Third Problem

3rd Problem – Paul does not speak of a previous marriage.

This connects with probably the single biggest problem that I have with Dispensationalism. It raises the Mosaic covenant to be equal to the covenant made at The Cross. This is anathema to me and a truly horrifying idea.

Just read Galatians. It is chock full of references to the inadequacy of the Mosaic Covenant. And, it refers to the purpose of the ‘Old Covenant’ as one that leads us to Christ. NOT TO THE FATHER!

Paul does NOT speak of a ‘previous marriage’ or that the Old Covenant is the ‘Bride of the Father’. No, not in any way.

An Eye-Opening Experience

I did not grow up, being taught Dispensationalism. So, I did not know its tenets, and all the reasons why it is wrong. So, this has been an eye-opening experience. I had no idea that they believed in two marriages.

I am really shocked by this, since the Bible is clear that the center of everything is Jesus Christ. And, it’s clear that Jesus was and is The Creator of Heaven and Earth. I mean, there are so many things in the Bible that this fights against, I am aghast that I heard it.

I can hardly believe it.

Jesus In The Old Testament

If you take the time to examine the identity of God in the Old Testament, you find out that this ‘person’ is God the Son. Everywhere. Always. This point was brought home to me in a sermon by my pastor in Jerusalem.

Pastor Meno Kalisher did a presentation called Jesus in the Old Testament at the 2002 Winnipeg Prophecy Conference. And, you can find it here:

I listened to a recording of that presentation, and it knocked my socks off. It was utterly magnificent, and it demonstrated with absolute and fantastic clarity that every time you see God in the Old Testament, it is the pre-incarnate Jesus Christ.

Every. Single. Time.

Therefore, there can be no ‘marriage of the Father’. There can be no ‘Bride of the Father’. It also means that there can be no Dispensationalism. You cannot BE a Dispensationalist when you see that the whole Bible has been about bringing us to The Cross. And, if you are a Dispensationalist, you are forced to claim that The Cross was not necessary for Israel.

I know that Dispensationalists shy away from saying that, and I am relieved that they do. It’s blasphemy. Without The Cross, those in the Old Testament died and went to Hell. Without The Cross, following the Law of Moses was a waste of time.

The Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ is EVERYTHING!!!!

Jesus called Himself the Alpha and the Omega. The Beginning and the End. There is no other Alpha and there is no other Omega.

Please, if you are a Dispensationalist, think this through. Look at the pattern of the Bible. Look at how God was bringing His people to the Cross. To His burial. To His Resurrection.

Please. If you love God, think this through, carefully.

Yes, I know that this is hard, and John acknowledged this when He said:

Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

 – 1 John 2:23

It’s all a mystery, and I believe that this mystery is a part of what the great angel of Revelation 10 said here:

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

 – Revelation 10:7

That’s right. The ‘Mystery of God’ will be finished. The confusion over the Trinity and why Jesus is the Creator and why the Father knew things that Jesus did not know… all of that …will be OVER when the seventh trumpet sounds – what I believe to be the ‘Last Trump’ of 1 Corinthians 15:52 (although, I can’t be firm on that).

Please, Be Careful

So please, do not insert into the Bible what it does not say. It does not say that there are two marriages and that God the Father has the first one. It does not say that there will be a pretribulation rapture.

So please, just stick with what the Bible actually SAYS. Not with what you think that it says.

Randall Smith Is Still A Great Pastor

Now, does this mean that Pastor Smith is a bad guy and a horrible Christian?

Absolutely NOT!

Please remember that I knew all the above before I sat down to write, and when I said this, above:

In fact, if I was looking for a church to attend, I would stop looking, when I hit his church. He’s that good.

 – John Little

And you can quote me on that. Seriously. Pastors like Randall Smith are hard to find. And, every pastor makes mistakes and gets things wrong. So, I don’t hold this against him.

The TRUTH Is For Your Safety

However, he’s still wrong on this, and this is the kind of ‘wrong’ that will get you in trouble with Gog and Magog comes. In fact, error will ALWAYS leave you vulnerable. I can attest to this personally. So, in the words of Paul Benson who shares my view on this:

Let’s Get It Right!

(And yes, that’s a link to his website.)

Now, Watch Those Videos

By now, some of you will feel a bit ‘put off’ by this discussion of Dispensationalism, and this will make you reluctant to watch those two videos. I feel sorry about that.

Please, do not miss this opportunity to learn about the importance of Israel to God, in the Bible. This is serious stuff, and missing it will be a BIG problem for you.

Getting upset over seven minutes, and throwing out the rest of the videos would be more than a shame, it would be a crime – to your spiritual life.

Everything that I’m doing is about your spiritual and physical safety. Watching those two videos will help you with both. The anti-Semites are on the rise. The Preterists, Historicists and Amillennialists have crept into our churches, and you need a good defense. You MUST be able to defend yourself when they target you.

…And, you are ALWAYS a target.

Corruption is Legal in America – YouTube

If you want to know how vile, evil and disgusting the American government is… just watch this. If you want to know WHY the American government is so vile, evil and disgusting…

…watch this. Twice.

This video describes the reason why America will have a military coup to take down the corruption in Washington D.C. It also describes why America elected Donald Trump. It describes why America has been involved in so many senseless wars. It describes why America has become so evil.

No, it does mention those things, but what it says… well …it’s the foundation for all of it.

Oh, and we let them do it. So ultimately, it’s our fault. Rage all that you want at the political system and the vile and evil politicians, but look in the mirror before you do that.

America was good once, with a golden chalice in her hand.

Now, she is a prostitute to the highest bidder.

Twelve Tips For Making Sense Of The World – Caitlin Johnstone – Medium

I got the above video from via this article written by Caitlin Johnstone, an anti-Semite. Anyone who uses Noam Chomsky and George Galloway in the same article is an idiot. But, she doesn’t start being an idiot #5. And, it’s a slow start, since number five has a lot of truth. Six also. Then she rapidly goes downhill.

But, the video above is worth the price of admission.

the devil went down to Bay City | Bondo- the real deal

Last week, I talked about someone named Julia, and it was a fascinating tale.

Well, Bondo shared this post in the comment section, and it is a far more horrifying story than Julia’s – but, just as evil.

And, in this article, Bondo makes the point that there are demons of every flavor and variety and sophistication.

NEVER forget that demons have a powerful appeal. And, there is always SOME demon out there that can get its hooks into you, in some way, if you choose to walk the path of disobedience.

Always, always submit to God. ALWAYS.

“Forget Flying Teslas, We’ll Be Lucky If We Can Turn Out Scythes In 20 Years From Now…” | Zero Hedge

The core paragraph is this one:

All the jabber is about trade and obstacles to trade, but the real action probably emanates from the energy sector, especially oil. The G-7 nations are nothing without it, and the supply is getting sketchy at the margins in a way that probably and rightfully scares them. I’d suppose, for instance, that the recent run-up in oil prices from $40-a barrel to nearly $80 has had the usual effect of dampening economic activity worldwide. For some odd reason, the media doesn’t pay attention to any of that. But it’s become virtually an axiom that oil over $75-a-barrel smashes economies while oil under $75-a-barrel crushes oil companies.

And, this paragraph might even be MORE important:

Shale oil is not a miracle so much as a spectacular stunt: how to leverage cheap debt for a short-term bump in resource extraction at the expense of a future that will surely be starved for oil. Now that the world is having major problems with excessive debt, it is also going to have major problems with oil. The quarrels over trade arise from this unacknowledged predicament: there will be less of everything that the economically hyper-developed nations want and need, including capital. So, what’s shaping up is a fight over the table-scraps of the banquet that is shutting down.

So yes… in 20 years, we’ll be lucky if we will have enough energy to produce enough metal to make the farm tools that we used 300 years ago.

“Its’ Crazy”: Texas Roiled By Unprecedented Labor Shortage As Shale Industry Hires “Just About Anyone” | Zero Hedge

Since the price of oil popped upt to $80/barrel, the oil companies have gone nuts. Sorta like what they did in 2007.

It’s interesting that worked out for all of us.

And, the worst joke of all… is that the oil companies STILL won’t be making any money on all this.

THAT, my friends is truly dark humor.

Trump Slams OPEC Again, Demands Lower Prices: “Oil Prices Are Too High, OPEC Is At It Again” | Zero Hedge

Unfortunately, I’m not sure that OPEC can increase production. And, OPEC is afraid to let this fact out. I don’t know for certain that OPEC is at their limits of production. But, I’m betting that they are really, really close.

Something Unprecedented Is Happening at Bilderberg 2018 – YouTube

Melissa and Aaron of ‘Truthstream Media’ are anti-Semites. So, you can’t trust their analysis. But, you might be able to trust some of their observations.

And, on the 66th meeting of Bilderberg on the 6th month… it looks like they are planning for war – among other things.

Just do NOT allow Melissa and Aaron to color your view of Israel. They are being manipulated just like everyone else. And, I get really, really tired of anti-Semites.

Will Bilderberg still be relevant as the future of war is transformed? | World news | The Guardian

I’m not used to having ‘The Guardian’ back up a point like this. But, it is more and more clear that this year’s ‘Bilderberg’ is all about war.

Why is Cardinal Parolin attending a Bilderberg Group meeting?

Actually, the bigger question should be… why WOULDN’T the Vatican have a representative.

I would be curious about Vatican involvement over the years.

Flat Earth CRUSHED by Discovery Channel – YouTube

In addition to completely destroying the insane Flat Earth ‘theory’, this is also an interesting look at how even water follows the curve of the Earth.

I experienced this myself, several times taking a catamaran ‘over the horizon’ and – on a separate occaison – almost getting myself killed because I violated an important rule in scuba diving.

(When underwater, ALWAYS ALWAYS be aware of where the current is pulling you. ALWAYS.)

The interesting thing – and the point of why I am putting this here – is the Flat Earthers will still refuse to accept this evidence. No matter what you do. No matter what proof you offer. They will still believe that the Earth is Flat.

And yes, this eight and a half minute video CRUSHES the Flat Earth Theory.

But, Flat Earthers WILL NOT ACCEPT IT.

I find that incredibly fascinating. It’s a mental disease that I would love to study more thoroughly, but it would probably damage my vocal cords.

Because I would probably spend a lot of time screaming, yelling and jumping up and down in outrage and disbelief. So, it would be best if someone else examines this mental disease.

Again, the biggest issue of all, is that we are all vulnerable to this disease, in one way or another, if we are not careful. There are a host of belief systems that are just like the Flat Earth Mentality. And, believers in those systems exhibit the very same, insane characteristics as the deranged Flat Earthers.

I, myself, have fallen prey to this kind of mentality, and it took me years for God to extricate me from its grip. So, this is a very personal issue with me. And no, I was NOT a Flat Earther.

Years ago, you could have provided proof after proof, but it would NOT have changed my view on Landmarkism, Hypercalvinism and a particularly horrible legalism. I was stubborn and completely unwilling to even consider ANY proof that I was wrong. ANY.

The same goes for a host of people who passionately hold views that are completely and utterly wrong. No matter what you say, and no matter what proof you offer, they will NOT accept the fact that they are wrong. Anti-Semites. Communists. Catholics. Jehovah’s Witnesses. Dispensationalists. Preterists. Evolutionists. Atheists. Muslims. Tree Huggers. Earth Nazis. Al Gore. And, too many others… are so blinded by the lies that they love, that they WILL NOT LET GO OF THEM.

They love their lies too much to see the truth.

And, I call them all Flat Earthers – even though they do not believe that the Earth is flat. They have a ‘Flat Earth Mentality’, so they are Flat Earthers in my view.

Now, for those who are literally Flat Earthers… if you can still be a Flat Earther after watching this video, get out of my sight. Your love of lies is a demonic abominaton. And yes, I continue to get lots of email from Flat Earthers. And, I routinely have to tell them to either give me a picture of the edge of the Earth or shut up.

And yes, I have a cousin who works near the South Pole.

The Shocking Truth: Our Religious Future! (2018) – YouTube

Interesting statistics and good points. And, it confirms why I need to be on YouTube and up my game.

Homosexuality exploding among youth

Chris in the comment section last week found this article from last year, and I’m surprised that I didn’t pick it up. And, it shows that homosexuality is really exploding – especially among the youth. And it seems to be increasing fastest among girls.

This is completely horrifying. And, pretty soon, we are going to have 10% of our society being cursed with homosexuality.

ALERT: Presenter Warns of ‘Ecological Apocalypse’ In Great Britain

This is an extremely serious issue. Insects are being killed off, and that’s just the most noticeable sign. We have fewer birds, and I’m betting that the subsurface biota of the soil is failing, too.

I am in no way an Earth Nazi. Not even close. But, what is happening is pretty alarming.

If a Nuclear Bomb Was Detonated in NYC – The Organic Prepper

This article reminded me of the Beast Rider in Revelation 17. ‘Beast Rider’ is my name for this woman, but Revelation calls her a whore who rides the beast. In fact, I will quote the last three verses of Revelation 17:

16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

– Revelation 17:16-18

Don’t stop at those three verses. Read ALL of Revelation 17. But, think of those three verses as you do:

Oh, and notice how she is destroyed:

Yes, I know that they eat her flesh, and I’m not sure how they would do that. But, I know what fire is.

And, what better way to burn her, than this. (Although, it doesn’t NEED to be nuclear.)

Now, why did this article spark my interest?

Because it refers to New York City.

Why New York City?

Because of what the last verse of Revelation 17 says:

the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth

Right now, that city is New York. All foreign currency transactions – or almost all – in the world, flow through New York. And, if New York doesn’t like what you are doing, they can turn off your ability to interact with other banks – even other banks within your own country.

That’s a lot of power, and the world doesn’t like this fact that New York has this much power over them.

Will another city rise and take the power the New York City has?

But, for now, it’s New York City. The most powerful city in the world.

What Happens When a Nuclear Bomb Hits – YouTube

And, here is an excellent video that I found on ZeroHedge, that goes along with the article above.

Do you remember my scenario of hiding a bomb within a big airconditioning unit, at the top of a big skyscraper in New York?

Yeah. THAT will do A LOT more damage than a similar bomb going at ground level.

Tbis would be a very good, but very depressing movie. – Album on Imgur

If you want to know the horrendous evil of Pakistan, the kind of evil that the average Pakistani accepts as natural, take a look at this young kid, Iqbal Masih.

But, be careful. The story will break your heart. And, make sure that you read the first comment about this boy’s life, and what he did.

Islam is a vile and obscene religion.

I truly hope that you’ll be ready for this

A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.Proverbs 22:3

  1. Hi John,
thanks for another amazing article, now let me spam you with links (months ago I submitted something on the subject):
“Strong Coronal Mass Ejection Flare directed at Earth can exert pressure, that deform and shrink the Magnetosphere by as much as 4 Earth Radius (4Re). But, the pressure would affect or impact the layers of Earth below its surface in different ways. It depends on the tectonic of each region. In some regions the tension would cause energy to be released in a form of earthquake…”
    -which reminds me of:
“Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; (…) and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.”
    Oh, by the way:
    and, just a mere coincidence:
We are close to something, that’s certain.
    Yours in Christ

  2. Regarding the Discovery Channel finding on the the lake: Round or flat, this is a flawed experiment. The laser could have been angled by a hair and they didn’t do any math to verify their experiment, like curvature in inches per mile. They should of been able to predict how far the laser would move at any given distance away and then demonstrate that. And they didn’t prove the laser was level. Also with their big budget why not get a powerful laser and shine it across the lake like what was done on another channel. They hit their target across the several mile lake by the way.

    • Hi Eric,

You didn’t even bother to watch the video. Amazing.

I am so tired of people like yourself, without a shred of integrity. And, you have the gall to leave a comment on something that you didn’t even see.

      How do I know?

Because they used a helicopter on the other side of the lake.

My earnest hope is that you do one of two things:

      1. Repent

      2. Never again read anything that I write or record.

I want honest and honorable people as readers, not those who are without integrity, honor or honesty.

So, Eric, you have a choice to make.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  3. Hi john,
Here are my preliminary look into dispensationalism:
An important idea I think to keep in mind is why did God create man? I think the answer is to have fellowship. He WANTS to have a relationship with us, but being a perfect judge, our sin gets in the way.
There seems to be several different definitions and accreditations out there for dispensationalism. I will start with the definition here first: https://www.theopedia.com/dispensationalism

Looking at the different dispensations (how God dealt with man), with the idea that the goal being righteousness of man thereby enabling fellowship with God.
Items 1-5 all have one thing in common, complete failure of man to achieve righteousness on his own power, which naturally points towards Christ. This leads us to item #6 on the dispensation list. Grace. The ONLY way we can have fellowship with God is through His grace meaning the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. No-one gets to the father accept through Him! The 7th dispensation is the millennial kingdom, which hasn’t happened yet.
So far, I don’t have any serious disagreement.
Moving on to what this link calls the 4 basic tennants:
1, church and Israel having different paths in God’s plan. (I think this is accurate, the land promise God gave to Abraham has yet to be fulfilled.)
2, difference between law and grace. Romans makes this pretty clear.
3, new testament church not foreseen in old testament. I would agree with this too.
4, pretrib rapture, I know we disagree here. So eleven out of twelve looks pretty good to me for this definition.

Here is the second one: https://www.moodymedia.org/articles/moody-church-dispensational-its-theology/

It appears that this is from the Moody Church, as in Dwight L Moody who I think is closer to the source of dispensationalism. This one I have a major problem with. Here is the quote:

Rooted in the Old Testament prophecies, Israel’s destiny is to be a separate people of God’s choosing, and the New Testament church stands as another avenue of His grace.

So Jesus Christ of Nazareth is “a” way to God’s grace!? I think you can see why I have a problem with this. Notice how this was not mentioned in the other link?

Now, as to this marriages thing you brought up. I did not see that in either of these definitions. In scripture, the church is referred to as the “bride”, the last supper was the engagement banquet, and the marriage is in Rev. 19. So Jesus marrying the church I accept.

In Exodus 4:22 God says that Israel is His son, His first born. I don’t recall any mention of God the father marrying Israel, although there are Messianic Jews, Paul and Peter for instance.
As to your point about people outside the line of Abraham and prior to the coming Jesus being saved, I agree. ie Enoch and Ham. These captives were freed upon Christ’s death, the price for sin paid for all forever!

I think it may be profitable to back off on the labels and pursue the truth. So if I get a person who says “I am a this or that” I will ask what do you mean? What does that mean? Then see what they say.

Still looking, and researching on this subject. Hope it is helpful.

    • Hi Michael Wilson,

You and Randy Smith have presented me with a unique opportunity to examine Dispensationalism carefully. I now realize that I’ve never really done that, except in a superficial way, and now I need to. Unfortunately, this means that my analysis won’t be as cohesive as my analysis on other subjects that I am more familiar with.

So, I must apologize for my disorganization. So, to begin…

I’m afraid that I do not see the scriptural foundation for what you said above. We agree on faith in Jesus Christ and the significance of His death, burial and resurrection. But, when we get to the tenets of Dispensationalism…

God repeatedly said that He was not pleased with the sacrifice of bulls and goats. (Hebrews 10)

The old covenant – or fifth dispensation – could not take away sin. And, if sin was not taken away, it remains. And, if it remains, you don’t make it to heaven. Only one person took away sin, and that Person is God the Son, Jesus Christ.

Paul in Galatians speaks of the purpose of ‘The Law’ (or fifth dispensation) as leading us to Christ. As being insufficient and only having value in that it points to what IS sufficient. He refers to it as our schoolmaster.

Read Hebrews 8 and Hebrews 9. It speaks of the Old Covenant as a shadow. It speaks of the covenant given by Jesus Christ as better – not just different.

By its very definition, Dispensationalism claims that each dispensation is equal. And, that is manifestly not true. You will find that nowhere in the Bible.

And, within the Tanakh – the Old Testament – we see a yearning for Jesus Christ. Even within Torah itself, Moses commands that all should hear Jesus – above the Law.

The more that I look at Dispensationalism, the more dismayed that I get. I requires that God be different for each ‘Dispensation’. It makes claims about God and His covenants, that the Bible does not say. It dares to claim that the Mosaic covenant is equal to the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ – when the Bible says the opposite.

How can anyone look at all that, and say that Dispensationalism is right?

I know the answer to that, since I suffered under a different error and am grateful to God that He dragged me free of it. We all love our teachers and hold them in reverence and respect. But, when our teachers are wrong, they are wrong – no matter how much we adore them. And, I had to pay a very high price, in telling my own beloved teachers that they were wrong.

You need to do the same, Mike. And, I do not envy your need to take this path.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

      • Hi again John!
If I looked up Newton’s laws of motion, I would get the same answer every time. This does not seem possible with dispensationalism, which in itself indicates something is seriously wrong. My research points to John Nelson Darby (1800-82) as the source for the theory of dispensationalism. I’ll have a look at him next.

Just to be clear, I am NOT trying to convert anyone to dispensationalism. I have yet to find a consistent definition. I would encourage all to pursue the truth in all things. I don’t think we are too far apart in this.

  4. Brother John,
Thanks for linking my story. A lot of your readers looked at it.

I just want people to know it is real, takes many forms, and is dangerous. The Serpent is the most subtil of all the beasts.

    Beware false prophets!

  5. Hi John;
I finally got time today to view the vids by brother Smith. I am trying to give a fair shake to all who are espousing the importance of Israel not only to God, but also to the unfolding of end-time events, as I am seeking a proper focus in that area.

But I must say I found his talks to be more of a promotion of the wayward notions of Dispensational Theology than anything else. I have devoted much of my efforts lately to exposing the errors of that improper approach to the Scriptures, and the damage it causes to ones comprehension of God’s Word and his dealings with mankind.

I am not saying Bro. Smith is wrong to side with Israel against the onslaught of the world; or wrong in his conclusions that this onslaught is the by-product of unbelief in the Bible and is spiritual in nature. He has that right; and I believe his intentions are wholesome. But the erroneous conclusions of his Separation theology (like the two-brides falsity you expounded on) were so evident throughout the talk that for me it was like nails on a chalkboard!

The way he off-handedly dismissed the notion we are Abraham’s promised seed, and heirs to the promise given him, by faith in Christ was prime example of how Separation (Dispensational) Theology forces one to diminish or dismiss important truths of the Scriptures in order to hold on to Darby’s error.

There is NO separation of Jew and Gentile in God’s election. And we have NOT replaced them in God’s plan! We have joined the believing remnant of Jews in their election. We are one in Christ; and ALL God’s covenant promises will be fulfilled in his dealings with the ‘One New Man’ of Jew and Gentile joined together in Jesus Christ as God’s chosen. When Jews (one or a multitude) come to faith they are joining the Body of Christ. Period!

Either this is true, or the truths presented in Romans 11 (joint election), Ephesians 2 (one new man), and Galatians 3 (heirs by faith) have no real significance (significance which Separation Theology actually forces one to dismiss or ignore).

I have been listening to John Haller regularly. I really get a lot out of his talks; and enjoy the way he focuses upon Israel without pushing a Dispensational slant upon you. He is someone I would recommend to others.

Thank you for your work John; and may the Lord continue to grant you much fruitfulness as you reach out with the truth.

  6. Wow!! I tried to watch for over 20 minutes, and still did not get to the introduction. Paul made me feel better about missing it. I tried CAPTCHA four times or more yesterday, and that comment still would not post. (I complained about being censored) Go figure! I was on a different better phone too. I think I will stick with shorter comments for a minute. 6×4 still equals 24 don’t it?

  7. I think it would be nice for you to talk to pastors and other people who believe in dispensation so that it can be explain to you. There are also two different types of dispensational believes .
I’m not sure yet where I stand when it comes to the end times , but I have been in churches who believe in dispensation for over 40 years and I can assure you that the conclusions you have arrived are very wrong . I have never been taught , or hear any pastor in any of this churches say that the people in the Old Testament weren’t save by faith in Christ . We look back to the death and resurrection of Christ to atone for our sins . The people in the old testament looked forward by faith. What did the animals sacrifices represented ? Is very clear in Isaiah 53.
The law showed our sinfulness and our need for Christ . “ Therefore by the deeds of the Law, shall no flesh be justified in his sight : for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” Romans 3:20 We are though that as the Bible says , “ For what does the scripture say? But Abraham believed God and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.” Romans 4:1-8
So ,although , I my self not sure where I stand about the’ end times ‘ because I’m studying all the views , I ask you to please check again before you continue to make those harmful comments about people who believed in dispensationalism not believing that salvation is only in Christ for all . Christ is our all in all!
I’m 74 years old, have been in many churches with the dispensational view and believe me in every church I have been a member and every brother or sister I have met in those churches understand and are fully committed to preach , share , and live the gospel of Christ . Salvation by faith through Christ alone for all! My husband was in the military for 30 years so we had to move around . Therefore , I know for sure not just from one church but from many churches that people who believe in dispensationalism believe that Old Testament saints as well as New Testament saints were save by grace through Christ!!
Their view differ from Amillennialism ,and postmillennialism in that they believe the promises make to Israel about their land will be fulfill literal .
That doesn’t mean that they believe Old Testament saint were save by the law or any other way other than by faith in Christ in his death , burial, and resurrection .

    • Hi Monserrat,

I’ve spent a lot of time in Dispensationalist churches, and the church that I’m going to now is Dispensationalist. My two favorite pastors are Dispensationalist. And, they get a lot of stuff right. No question.

HOWEVER, like anyone, they get a few things wrong. One of the things that they get wrong, is their claim that the rapture happens BEFORE the Great Tribulation. It doesn’t. And, they have no proof of this.

I want you and all of my brothers and sisters in Christ to be okay when the great disasters fall upon the world. It’s why this site exists.

      I hope that helps, Monserrat.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little
