The Last Days Accelerate – Jerusalem

Donald Trump just did the one thing that I did not expect him to do:

Recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel

He promised to do that during his campaign, and he delivered on that promise. And, I’m not used to American Presidents doing that – especially, when it comes to Jerusalem.

The side-effect of this event, will be a heating up of conflict in the Middle East and an acceleration of The Last Days. I believe that this is a very big deal, and I suspect that you will agree, when you see the evidence that I see.

The Last Days Accelerate – Jerusalem

I was going to talk about something different today – the place where the Antichrist will come from – but a big surprise superseded my plans.

Trump officially forced the US government to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

And yes, the word ‘forced’ is the operative word. Pretty much everyone in the US government tried to keep him from doing this. The US government has ALWAYS been antagonistic to the recognition of Jerusalem. And, that antagonism goes way beyond just an appeasement of Arab feelings.

Washington D.C. – Enemy Of Jerusalem

The US Dept. of State and the CIA have always been anti-Semites. Always. From the very beginning. Furthermore, they have also been extremely pro-Arab since World War II, and now… well …’pro-Muslim’ hardly begins to describe the State Department.

The reason why the State Department and the CIA are so evil, lies with their corrupt foundations – especially the CIA, who was founded around a cadre of veteran Nazi intelligence officers. But, if you understand all that, you begin to see why and how the US has been operating in the Middle East.

The US government has never, EVER, voluntarily been a friend of Israel or even the Jews. Never. Yes, there are Jews in US government. Yes, there are even Zionists in US government. But, those are not examples. They are exceptions.

And yes, there are Jews who are anti-Semites. In fact, a Jewish friend of mine told me that the worst anti-Semites are Jewish. It is a strange thing to behold, but it’s also a reality. And, the neo-Nazis love to grab a hold of these Jewish anti-Semites and use their statements as proof of how awful the Jews are.

So, why has the US given so much to Israel?

Christian Support For Israel

Anti-Semites love to claim that Jews have been controlling American foreign policy, and that this is why the US supports Israel so much. They claim that support for Israel is proof of Jewish power.

So, why did Menachem Begin spend so much time with Christians, when he visited the US?

Well, you know the answer to that. The number one reason why a southern senator or a congressman from a predominantly Christian district would never, ever vote against Israel, was solely due to the goodness of the Christians that would vote against him/her if he/she did that.

The Christians were the ones to force the American government to help Israel. The tiny Jewish minority in America were openly divided in their support for Israel, and they still are. But, I’m sorry to say that Christian support for Israel is waning.

God Is A Zionist

But, God’s intentions do not wane, so let me make something clear:

God is a Zionist.

I am a Zionist.

And, I made that clear with this article:

If you can’t handle that, then I invite you to go somewhere else that won’t tell you truths that upset you so much. The truth will always upset you. It’s what the Truth does. But, there are some who cannot handle the truth, so they will need to find a different, less truthful, source of news and analysis.

You don’t need to agree with me.

You just need to have the courage to confront the reasons why you do not agree.

I have no time or energy for those who cannot handle the truth. We all have errors in our understanding of the truth, and that includes myself. But, I try very hard to never avoid confronting what may, or may not, be an error.

I freely admit to having been wrong in the past. Therefore, I am perfectly willing to admit that I am wrong about something/anything now. And, I am certain that I will be wrong on something in the future.

What I am not wrong about, and cannot be wrong about, is that the Bible is true, and the #1 source of truth. Anything that disagrees with the Bible, is wrong.

By definition.

Okay, I’d better get back to the main point, before I take this article in the wrong direction.

Now, where was I…

…ah yes…

Back To Trump

When I heard Trump, while he was campaigning, promise to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and move the US embassy there, I was skeptical. And, I spent years and years riding by the plot of land reserved for the US embassy in Jerusalem.

The failure to fill that plot of land in Talpiot, on Derech Hevron (Hebron Road), was and is a visible failure – a blot on the conscience of the American people. And, when Clinton, Bush and even Obama failed to live up to their promises, I expected Trump to do the same.

I was wrong.

And, I am so very, very glad to be wrong.

My hope is that I’m wrong about all of my skepticism about Trump. I certainly WANT to be wrong, but those who love the truth do not have the luxury of living a life of fantasy.

Two Big WHYs

The question now, is about why:

Why did it take almost a year for him to do this?

Why was he finally able to do it?

Most people do not realize that the President of the United States is a captive of his own administration. He might want to do this or that, but the bureaucrats that are the true rulers of America will resist, if they don’t like what he wants them to do.

I don’t want to get into a long, drawn-out discussion of how governments work. That is a big subject, and it’s a subject that can lead to nausea, or worse. And, I’m not joking as much as I would like.

The point is that Trump is not as free to fulfill his promises as you might think. There really are limits to what he can do, even if the US Congress is fully behind him on this. The US government has gotten too big to change quickly.

That’s why making a decision like this, is a very, very big deal. Yes, he could have announced it the day after his inauguration, but he would have failed to make it official. In fact, he might have damaged his ability to make it official, since that failure would have allowed bureaucrats to seize more power than they should.

Never, EVER, let a bureaucrat believe that he or she has power. That never ends well. Ever.

So, how did he get away with it?

The conditions were favorable.

That is such a common statement of fact, that it has almost become a trite phrase. But, it’s still the truth. And, it’s a part of the reason why I believe that the age that we are living in, The Last Days, is accelerating towards fulfillment.

Saudi Fear Of The Future

The first reason for why Trump could ‘get away with’ recognizing Jerusalem is the terror that the Sunni Arab governments feel about current conditions in their neighborhood. And yes, the operative word is ‘terror’.

Iran is the center of Shia Islam, and the Shiites have been fighting for self-determination and recognition since the Battle of Karbala, in AD 680 – as have the Alevis and Sufis. And, from a Saudi perspective, Iran is on the other side of a very narrow body of water, called the Persian Gulf – or, Arabian Gulf, if you are Arab. And, it wouldn’t take much for Iran to leap over this gulf and take over Saudi Arabia.

What is keeping Iran from doing this?

Well, Mecca is the heart of Islam, whether you are Sunni, Shiite, Alevi or Sufi. And, the House of Saud is the acknowledged ‘caretaker’ of Mecca and Medina. Openly attacking Saudi Arabia might even cause a revolution within Iran. But, quietly causing the fall of the House of Saud… now that, is a real possibility.

In fact, Iran appears to be actively working towards the overthrow of the King of Saudi Arabia. Iran has been infiltrating Shiite communities in Saudi Arabia and encouraging discontent. Iran has been encouraging minor kingdoms, like Qatar, to rebel against Saudi ‘influence’. And, Saudi allies, like Bahrain have been suffering rebellion from their Shiite-majority citizens.

And then, there’s something called the Shia Crescent. It acts as a ‘barrier’ to the north and northeast of the Arabs. And, when you add in Israel, the Arabs are cut off from the Mediterranean Sea.

“But wait,” you say, “what about Egypt and the Suez Canal?”

Well, getting to the Mediterranean via Egypt isn’t as easy as you think, and the Arabs of the Arabian Peninsula are actually afraid of Egypt. Yes, you heard that right. Fear.

Egypt is big, and it has a VERY big army. It could take over Saudi Arabia without much effort. And, Egypt has been something of a troublemaker in the region, in the recent past – which is why the Saudis gave lots of money to the Muslim Brotherhood for something like 70 years. And yes, you read that right.

The Saudis funded the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, for decades.

Remember that Saudi Arabia only has a population of 33 million. And, I doubt that anyone is really certain if that census is correct, and how much of that census is really Arab or Sunni. And, the Saudi military is one of the worst in the world. They have great equipment, but very little skill at using it.

I have joked in the past that tiny Taiwan could invade Saudi Arabia and take over, without too much trouble – assuming that other countries didn’t intervene.

And then, there are all the other little Sunni countries of the Middle East:

I hesitated to add Yemen, since it’s only about half Sunni. And, the Shiites of Yemen are rebelling against the Sunnis. And, the Shiites have direct help from Iran.

And, none of the countries in that list are dependable. Jordan is ruled by a Hashemite dynasty that was driven out of Arabia, by the Saudis. And, the Arabs have long memories. Very long.

Oh, and the Hashemites ruled Mecca from a little after Muhammad (eternal suffering be upon him) until they were thrown out by the House of Saud in 1924.

The bottom line is that Saudi Arabia has enemies that have grown in size, and what friends the Saudis have, have been bought with oil money. And, the Shiites of Saudi Arabia are sitting on top of those oil fields that generate this money, and those oil fields are beginning to run dry.

Officially, everything is fine, and there are no problems pumping as much oil as Saudi Arabia wants to pump. But, just as ‘officially’, the Saudis have been unable to increase production above 10 million barrels a day – officially. But, one thing that is clear, is that her oil exports have declined, since her people have been consuming a larger and larger portion of Saudi oil. And, the Saudis lie through their teeth, when releasing information about how much oil they have, how much they can produce and how much they do produce.

Unfortunately, for Saudi rulers, we have evidence that their oil is running out. And, they are doing everything that they can to make new friends, to keep Saudi royals from being murdered in their beds. And, that means starting wars in Syria and Iraq, and making friends with Israel.

The Saudis know that they can no longer support the Palestinians. They’ve been giving them tons and tons of money, but they need to stop doing that, since a strong Israel will help protect them from the Shiites.

That New City, Neom

Did you notice where this new high tech city, Neom, will be built in Saudi Arabia?

Now, they very carefully spoke of Jordan and Egypt, but you and I aren’t stupid. There’s only one country that can make Neom work, and that country is Israel. And, it is one of two main reasons why it is being built at the entrance to the Gulf of Eilataka, the Gulf of Aqaba.

Israel is the only country with the education and infrastructure that can make Neom work. It takes a tremendous level of education to be a high tech country, and Israel has that educational base. Egypt and Jordan do not.

What’s the second reason?

Neom is as far from Iran as it is possible to get. That’s my own analysis, and I haven’t heard anyone else mention this, but I’m willing to bet that this is a very big reason. If Saudi Arabia makes this their unofficial capital, Israel, Jordan and Egypt could help defend Neom, when (not if) the Saudis get invaded by Iran.

Saudi Failures

This is why the Saudis helped in the attempt to overthrow the Shia government of Syria and install a Sunni government. That attempt began long before the official 2011 start date of the current civil war. But, they failed. Badly.

In fact, all of those Saudi efforts at ‘self-defense’ have backfired. Both Iraq wars have weakened and destroyed Sunni power in Iraq. Sunni clans in Syria have been decimated. And, Turkey has now switched sides, and now supports the Shia and Russia – a rather big enemy of Saudi Arabia. And, Saudi Arabia’s only real protector, America, is beginning to falter. The Saudis are losing the war in Yemen and their ‘blockade’ of Qatar has failed.

So, as the Saudis run out of options, along comes Trump with his plan to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Furthermore, we’ve been hearing reports of ‘secret’ negotiations between Israel and Saudi Arabia. Israel has always been willing to negotiate, but Saudi Arabia had to be backed into a corner.

The Howls Of Outrage

All of that explains those ‘favorable conditions’ that paved the way for Trump’s announcement. They helped make it possible by removing the Saudi (and Sunni) objections. The US Dept. of State and the CIA undoubtedly had to be wrestled to the ground and punched a few times. But, I doubt that such rough handling would have been enough. I firmly believe that without Arab voices to back up their dissent, the spooks and the foreign service couldn’t stop Trump’s plan.

What follows will be howls of outrage. The screams. The yells. The chest-beating. They will all jump up and down in a frenzy of incoherent indignation. They will make speeches and wave pieces of paper. They will burn flags and go to the AllahuAck Bar. Death to America will blare from every Shiite mosque.

In short, all will be normal, except louder and more entertaining. Therefore, some of us will make popcorn.

So, let’s talk about the howlers and the not-so-howling howlers.

Enter Iran

Unfortunately, Iran has had a ‘thing’ about Jerusalem. One of the first orders that Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini made after winning the revolution in Iran, was to start something called Jerusalem Day, which is the last Friday of Ramadan – where they burn Israeli flags and swear to destroy the US and Israel. When they created their ‘special forces’ division, they called it, Jerusalem Force.

Iran believes that it is their holy duty to destroy Israel and the United States. They believe that this is how they will bring back their 12th Imam, their Mahdi. And, they believe that it must happen soon.

Turkey Jumps In

And, let’s not forget Turkey. They were a key supporter for ISIS and the other rebels in Syria. Without Turkey, ISIS and the rebels could not have survived. In fact, the whole operation was run, supplied and directed from Turkey.

It wasn’t a completely Turkish operation. The money came from the Arabs. The weapons came from the US and NATO countries. But, most of the support went through Turkey.

Then the Kurds rose up, and that scared the Turks. Twenty percent of Turkey is Kurdish, and Turkey has been persecuting the Kurds since day one of Turkey’s existence. Israel has supported the Kurds for a very, very long time, and the US jumped in and boosted Kurdish power.

Worst of all, a coup attempt was staged by the Turkish military on July 15th of 2016, and Erdogan escaped being killed by minutes. That coup failed, and America was revealed to have been its backer. Some claim that this coup was a fake, but that doesn’t make sense from what we’ve seen. The evidence that this was a hoax is just not there.

In the aftermath of the coup, Erdogan decimated and dramatically weakened his army, air force and navy to get rid of any opposition. In fact, the Turkish military has been weakened so badly, that they could barely fight against the Kurds in Syria.

Turkey, under Erdogan, has also failed to join the European Union. They tried hard to make it possible, and the EU wanted to make it happen. But, Erdogan was too much for them. So, the EU was another failure for Erdogan.

On top of all that, Erdogan is on shaky ground. He was able to ram through a new constitution that essentially makes him president-for-life. But, there are lots of people that are deeply unhappy with him. So, he desperately needs something to distract the Turks from their troubles. And, it looks like that ‘distraction’ might be Jerusalem.

Egypt And Jordan

Egypt is not a friend of the Palestinians, so I doubt that this declaration will mean much for Egypt. They have their own problems, and they have truly gigantic difficulties. Even without the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), Egypt is staring catastrophe in the face.

People don’t realize that malnutrition is a serious problem, even now, in Egypt. And, malnutrition – especially among children – was the key reason for why Mubarak was thrown out of power in 2011. They cite other reasons, but those reasons are merely symptoms of increasing hardship and the growing desperation of Egyptian parents. And, it’s only getting worse.

When the GERD starts filling with water, Egypt will be finished.

Jordan isn’t much better off, since she has a tiny population with 30% of it Palestinian. Israel was the only country to defend Jordan in 1970, but their King can’t say that too loudly. Or, the Hashemite dynasty will be murdered in their beds.

Palestinians, Syrians And The Lebanese

The Palestinians will be a real problem, and their antics over Jerusalem will capture Muslim attention around the world. They are the biggest troublemakers in the Middle East and were at the heart of attempted coups in Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait and Lebanon. They are the best educated of almost any Arab group in the region, and they use that education to cause trouble everywhere they go. And the Syrians have been partners with the Palestinian ’cause’ for close to 50 years.

It was Israel, in 1970, that stopped Syria from invading Jordan, when the Palestinians almost overthrew the Kingdom of Jordan. If Israel had not mobilized to stop Syria’s attack, the Middle East would have been truly horrifying, rather than just a mess.

The same Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) that tried to overthrow the Kingdom of Jordan, then went to Lebanon and attempted the same thing, with more horrifying results. Israel was eventually forced to invade Lebanon to kick out the PLO in 1982. I have friends who fought in Lebanon. A lot of friends. It was terrible.

Only morons would invite the most revolting and evil leader in the world, Yasser Dirtbag Arafat, to govern the West Bank. Unfortunately, Israel was led by morons, when it happened. I can hardly believe it, and I was there.

As a result of Israel’s efforts in Lebanon, the Shiites and Iran were able to create Hezbollah to expel Israel from southern Lebanon. Hezbollah was supplied through Syria, and Syria was (and still is) run by morons. If Syria and Lebanon had followed Egypt and Jordan in making peace with Israel, none of what is happening to it now, would be happening.

But, morons will be morons.

All The Rest

As for the rest, Europe is becoming Islamic, and the world teeters on the edge of civilizational collapse. The collapse of civilization is in our future, but Europe’s transformation is happening NOW. It is doubtful that Israel will get much acknowledgement from them, of Jerusalem’s status as the capital.

Will America be the only one with her embassy in Jerusalem?

I don’t know, and I’m not sure that it matters.

What Really Matters – Zechariah 12

What matters is that this verse is a lot closer to fulfillment:

1 The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

4 In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.

 – Zechariah 12:1-4

A Big Leap Closer To Ezekiel’s Fire

When I wrote my book, I had three choices for a name:

Ezekiel’s Fire (Ezekiel 39:6)

Isaiah’s Sun (Isaiah 30:26)

Zechariah’s Horses (Zechariah 12:4)

All three of those names and all three of those verses speak to the same moment in time. And, the howls of outrage over Trump’s declaration on Jerusalem are bringing this moment of time closer and closer. But, Trump will have nothing to do with that ‘outrage’.

All that I have written in this article, should tell you that everyone shouting in outrage, are just looking for an excuse to shout. But, it’s an excuse that will destroy everyone who tries to pick it up.

Satan’s minions are destroying themselves with this ‘burdensome stone’, and it is a joy to see. It is also a part of God’s plan for these Last Days, and Jerusalem will lure these minions to gather together and fulfill the prophecy written across four chapters, Ezekiel 36, Ezekiel 37, Ezekiel 38, and Ezekiel 39.

All four of those chapters speak about the time in which we live. Chapter 36 is the most general. Chapter 37 is more specific. And, chapters 38 and 39 speak directly to the events that will finally bring Israel into salvation, by faith in, and relationship with, Jesus Christ – their only true Lord and Savior.

That day is coming, and it is the core of the book that I wrote, Ezekiel’s Fire. It’s free, and it might just save your life.

Are you going to be ready for this?

I truly hope that you’ll be ready for this

A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.Proverbs 22:3
