Rebellion among Christians is on the rise. I wish that it wasn’t so, but the comments and emails that I’m receiving tell me that it is so. And, God has this to say about rebellion:
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry…
Far too many claim to be followers of God, while rebelling against Him. This is an abomination in the sight of God, the same as if you were a witch or a Satanist.
If you don’t understand that, then you are doomed.

Stubbornness and Rebellion
I am constantly running into people who prefer the fantasies spun by commentators on the Bible, rather than the Bible itself. I am deeply grieved by this, and don’t understand why ANYONE would rather follow the words of men, than the words of God.
Aren’t they grateful to God for sending His precious Son to die for them, giving them eternal life?
Yet, they persist in their desire to have their ears tickled by the fables of foolish ‘scholars’ that seek to paint God as much like themselves. But, God is not like you and me.
Please… you MUST understand that God is incapable of not fulfilling His promises. He is also incapable of not fulfilling the prophesies of the Last Days. It just isn’t possible for God to be any less than completely perfect and completely true to EVERYTHING that He says and does.
Yet, false christians persist in their claims that God didn’t mean it, when He made this or that promise. They go on to claim that prophesies are not immutable – that they can be changed or delayed. And, I am constantly shocked by this.
As our world rushes towards a rendezvous with destiny, how can ANYONE be so blind as to not see how everything is falling into place?
But, Paul spoke of these people, when he wrote to the Thessalonians about the Last Days:
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
– 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12

The only hope that ANY of us have in surviving what is coming, is a love of the truth. And, when I say ‘surviving’, I mean spiritually, most of all.
When Paul spoke of those that ‘received not the love of the truth’, he wasn’t referring to the ‘unsaved’. No, he was referring to those who made a profession of faith, who claimed Christ as their own.
Those outside the Body of Christ have no hope, should they remain in that condition. So, there is no way that Paul could have been speaking of them. And, if you think that I can’t possibly be right, think again.
Matthew 25 should be a chilling chapter to all who read it. It certainly gives me pause, every time I read it.
Why?
Because it demonstrates that it is not enough to claim Christ. It’s not enough to say the words and warm your pew.
In fact, go and read Matthew 25, here:

Should you think me wrong, allow me to show you otherwise with more words from Our Lord and Savior:
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
– Matthew 7:21-23

That’s right. You can do miracles in the name of Christ. You can heal the sick and cast out demons… and go to Hell.
The first sin was pride, and that pride caused Satan to rebel against God. And, it is why God calls pride an abomination and rebellion as the sin of witchcraft.
Our brothers and sisters in Christ have sinned greatly in their pride and rebellion. Their stubbornness has led them on the path to destruction, and it is our job to warn them of what awaits them, should they continue.
I will not shrink from this duty, and I hope that you will not either. To do otherwise would be to betray the one who gave Himself for us.
The Burning Platform
Some of you know that I’ve been wrestling with what to do about the website, theburningplatform.com (TBP). I have been a long time reader of that site, and have shared many articles that appeared there. Even more, I have featured that site prominently on Omega Shock.
Unfortunately, over the past months, darkness has crept in and taken a hold of TBP, and I can no longer recommend that site. Furthermore, I will do my best to avoid sharing articles from that site. You’ll find a couple below, but I doubt that you will find me sharing many more of those in the future.
I hate doing this, but the level of evil has gone too far. It had seemed to me that Jim Quinn was a Christian, since Bible verses tended to appear there from time to time. But now, I’m not so sure.
I stand in doubt of ANYONE who allows such hate and lies onto his site. Matthew 7 spoke of fruit, and the bitterness on that tree is not compatible with those who follow Christ.
A big thank you to Jennifer who sent me an email on a completely unrelated topic, but nevertheless demonstrated a need to move in this direction. Well done, sister.
One More Step Back To The ShockCast
Many of you remember that I gave up recording my SchockCast programs to complete Ezekiel’s Fire. Well, that book is finished, and I need to get back to YouTube and other purveyors of video programming.
One step back to The ShockCast was a new web camera. And now, I’ve made yet another step:
Cyberlink PowerDirector 15
https://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdirector-ultra/features_en_US.html
Lord willing that will be another step in the process of getting back into audio, with something new: video. For many, reading is a problem. In our day and age, we need something more, and I will do my best to provide that.
This also provides the opportunity of new directions, should the Lord guide me in such a way. So, please pray that I would be able to heed the Lord’s calling in this.
The clock is ticking away towards midnight for these Last Days, and I need to make the best of every opportunity. Lives are at stake, and we must all do our best to give warning of what is coming.
Oh, and why PowerDirector?
It’s simply the best for my meager budget. And, right now, it’s on sale for about $60. Not a bad deal for that much capability.
We’ll see if I can put that capability to proper use.
I truly hope that you’ll be ready for this
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished. – Proverbs 22:3
