I stand amazed by how little truth and faith there is. God calls us to believe what He says in the Bible, and to ignore all who speak contrary to the Bible. Yet, we refuse. And yes, I put myself in that category, since I have been as guilty as anyone.
All of the prophecies in the Bible will be fulfilled, yet we tend to look around us and think that it can’t be possible. Everything looks so normal.
That’s because we are walking by sight, instead of by faith.

Not by Sight
I have gotten into a lot of trouble in the past, because I believed that the Bible is actually true. I still believe that the Bible is actually true, and I still get in trouble. All that I can say about myself now, is that I am more wise in how the truth is presented.
My wisdom has been ‘hard earned’, and included being kicked out of high school. And, the core of that ‘wisdom’ is that people don’t really want to believe the Bible, even though they call themselves Christian.
Believing the Bible is painful. It accuses you of sin and bad behavior. And, it tells you that your comfortable world is going to die, and soon.
No one wants to believe that, not even me. But, when you walk by faith, you believe it anyway. It’s called love.
Love?
Yes, Love Of The Truth:
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Paul always did write those LOOOOOONG sentences. But, it’s one big point, so I forgive him.
And, his point?
If you do not love the truth, you will support the Antichrist. And Paul wasn’t speaking about the average person who you would expect to support the Antichrist. No, he’s talking about those who profess to be Christian.
When I leave comments in comment sections pointing out this or that verse… the response is almost always a wave of deafening faithlessness. People don’t WANT to believe the truth.
The title of this article comes from a tiny verse in 2 Corinthians 5.
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

My hope is that you really believe that. My study of the Middle East demonstrates this all too well.
Countless times, I have warned people visiting the Middle East, to learn the truth before going. But, they all refused. Always. And, they ALWAYS fell for the propaganda of the Palestinians. ALWAYS.
A friend of ours is a Taiwanese journalist who is stationed in Jerusalem. She says that God kept her from going into the Palestinian areas, until she saw the truth of what was happening. Only then did God free her to report on the rest of the Middle East.
It was an eye-opening experience for her, but very few walk as carefully as she did – and does.
Do not walk by sight. Walk by faith, instead. To do otherwise is to face a failure too awful to contemplate.
MailChimp Begone!
As you may know, I’ve been trying to get a new mail server up and running for Omega Shock. MailChimp has been a great tool for getting the word out, but I don’t need all the tools it offers. And, I especially don’t need the $75/month cost that I incur.
And no, I don’t want anyone else paying it either.
That’s why I’ve expanded the capacity of one of the two servers I have and set up a new home for the email portion of Omega Shock:
theshockletter.com
Lord willing, on Saturday, April 22nd, at 2 a.m. EST. I will be freezing/closing the MailChimp account and switching everything over to theshockletter.com. A final test message will be sent out from MailChimp, as well as one from theshockletter.com. So, look for those messages in your inbox, tomorrow.
Ciao, until then!
I truly hope that you’ll be ready for this
