It’s been a difficult week, and our Friday class has started up again. This means that I’ve yet again, run out of time to write what I wanted to write. But, there’s still a lot of research in the research section, and I believe that the research is more important than what I have to say. I’m just a guy named John.
THOSE guys (and gals) have a lot to say, that I am not qualified to say. So, keep reading.
Oh, and did you do the homework that I assigned you, last week?
Subscribe to The Shock Letter and receive my articles in your inbox:
I Ran Out of Time Again
I don’t like missing deadlines, and I can hear it whoosh by as I write this. Our class starts in 75 minutes, and I can feel the hands of time tighten their grip upon my shoulder.
My excuse, this time, is the special report that occupied quite a bit of my week. I hated to write that. It documents a spiritual tragedy that breaks my heart. Viji Varghese could have been a true servant of God, but he chose the path of darkness. And, those who supported them, did not react properly when they found out who he really was.
Here’s that report, if you missed it:
Pray for Viji and all who were associated with him, that they would repent of their sins and turn towards God. And, pray for his victims, that they would be okay, that they would not bear resentment towards him.
I plan to get to all of your responses to this terrible tale, as soon as I can.
Oh, and don’t forget that homework assignment that some of you have probably forgotten:

THIS WEEK’S RESEARCH
My research sources are pretty wide ranging, and their number keep growing. So, instead of listing all of my sources, let me list the ones that deserve special mention:
A big thank you to all who sent me articles. I appreciate all of it.
IF YOU READ NOTHING ELSE…
Yup, more than just special, these links appear to be the most important of all. Seriously, start with these.
And yes, these are pretty serious.
I wish that I had more time to read Daniel Greenfield’s writing. He’s a great writer, and he’s right. And, he has a sense of humor.
And, Daniel points out something important, and it’s not about the Trump election. It’s about the state elections. All that Soros money, backing his utterly insane view of reality has destroyed the Democrats.
What an utter fool.
Please remember that money and power does not confer ability and intelligence upon the holder of money and power. It just gives them a bigger platform to fall from.
Maybe, instead of piling insult upon poor George, we should give him a medal.
Well done, George!
This is an important video. Not as important as the one that I asked you to watch last week, but still… VERY important.
14 years, to the day, Israel launched the most daring air raid in the history of aerial warfare. They took out the Osirak Nuclear Reactor in Iraq, on June 7th, 1981. That saved Israel from destruction and saved the lives of many American soldiers that would have died at the hands of Sadaam Hussein, during Operation Desert Storm in 1991.
What is also interesting, and I didn’t know until I watched the video, was that the overthrow of the Shah of Iran, allowed Israel to receive the F-16 aircraft that were used in the raid.
Also, every member of Reagan’s cabinet was furious with Israel for bombing that reactor – ESPECIALLY GEORGE BUSH. They hated Israel and would rather have seen her destroyed.
One more reason to despise George Bush Sr.
The one holdout, surprised me. Alexander Haig. He was the one who was glad that Israel did it. He had been against Israel, before, so I’m glad that he had changed his mind.
Now, there’s another point, and it’s the mot important of all ans why I’ve put this link here.
This video explains why Israel will be forced to attack Iran’s nuclear reactors. And, you’ll notice in this video the pattern that Israel is following today, to stop the Iranian bomb from being produced. I’m afraid that I’m not optimistic of Israel’s chances, this time.
And, it will be America that made it possible.
This is another view of that attack that provides more information on some aspects, and less on others.
Thank God that Israel bombed that reactor.
But again, the question is whether Israel will be able to bomb the Iranian reactor.
As I was reading this, so much jumped out at me, that I found myself copying out paragraphs from this article and saving them to a text file. These paragraphs are hammer-blows to ANY thought that there is even a silver lining to an awful future.
Whether or not this predictions will occur in 2017, or 2018, is difficult to say. But, I believe that there is a VERY high probability that they WILL occur in 2017. My hope is that you will prepare accordingly.
Furthermore, in the paragraphs that I quote below, you will also see room for the growth of that alliance that the Bible calls Gog and Magog, et al. The failure of the United States will leave a power vacuum that this alliance will gladly fill.
Furthermore, it is a rare thing for someone like James Howard Kunstler to understand the impact of the decline of oil. And, he demonstrates that understanding in this article.
Here are the paragraphs that I have excerpted from this article:
If by some magic any new industrial capacity were built, much of the work in it would be performed by robotics, not brawny men in blue shirts, and certainly not at the equivalent of the old United Auto Workers $35-an-hour assembly line wage. We have not faced the fact that the manufacturing fiesta based on fossil fuels was a one-time thing due to special historical circumstances and will not be repeated. The future of manufacturing in America is frighteningly modest. We’ll actually be lucky if we can make a few vital necessities by means of hydro-electric or direct water power, and that will be about the extent of it. Some of you may recognize this as the World Made By Hand scenario. I’ll stick by that.
By affordable energy I mean energy with a greater-than 30-to-one energy-return-on-investment, which is the ratio you need for the kind of life we lead. That’s what the now-ridiculed Peak Oil story was really about: not running out of oil, but not getting enough bang for our bucks pulling the remaining oil out of the earth to maintain our standard of living. I’ll return to this issue in more detail later. But that was what provoked America’s 21st century economic malaise. Everything we’ve done in finance since then has been an attempt to compensate for our fundamental problem with debt — borrowing from the future to maintain our current (unaffordable) standard of living. Our debt has grown ever larger and faster each year, and our methods for managing it have become more desperate and dishonest as that occurred.
Sixteen years after the Fed’s creation, America entered its worst economic downturn ever, the Great Depression, which was only mitigated by the colossal abnormality of World War Two. America emerged from that episode as the last industrial society standing amid everyone else’s smoldering ruins. That gave us an extraordinary advantage in world trade lasting roughly thirty years. That high tide of the era of seeming “normality” — the 1950s and 60s, which the Trumpian-minded might recall as “great” — started unraveling in the 1970s, which was not coincidentally the moment of America’s all-time oil production peak.
It is still largely unrecognized that America recovered from the financial disorder of the 1970s not because of the charms of “Reaganomics” but for the simple reason that the last giant finds of oil with greater than 30-to-one energy-return-on-investment came on line in the 1980s: Alaska’s North Slope, Britain and Norway’s North Sea fields, and Siberia. That allowed the USA and the West generally to extend the techno-industrial fiesta another twenty years. As that bounty tapered down around the year 2000, the system wobbled again and the viziers of the Fed ramped up their magical operations, led by the Grand Vizier (or “Maestro”) Alan Greenspan, who worked the control rods of interest rates as though the financial system were a great nuclear powered pipe organ that could be revved up and tamped down by a wondrous Fed control panel. This period of Fed spell-casting was characterized by ever more systemically complex finance, growing systemic fragility, pervasive institutionalized accounting fraud, and ever-greater bubbles and busts. Deregulation, especially the 1998 repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act of 1932, sealed America’s financial fate.
The Fed Funds rate is one thing. As it happens, the Fed does not directly control the interest rates on US treasury bonds, and they have been rising shockingly through the second half of 2016. The crucial ten-year treasury rate has gone up a hundred percent since the summer. Because bond values move inversely to bond rates, the price of treasuries has tanked, inducing trillions of dollars in losses to bond-holders around the world. The bond market is many times larger than the stock markets. Bonds have been in a bull market since the early 1980s and that bull rolled over in mid-2016. A bear market is now on, meaning bond-holders are dumping their bonds. China and Saudi Arabia are among the leading dumpers of US Treasuries because they need the money for one reason or another. They will dump more in 2017 because both countries are in deep economic trouble. Too many bond sellers and not enough buyers in the market drive interest rates up. Rates have a lot room to move up, since they started at near-zero. Accordingly, their value has a long way to fall.
A sharply rising interest rate on the ten-year Treasury bond will thunder through the system. A lot of other basic interest costs are keyed to the ten-year bond rate, especially home mortgages, apartment rentals (landlords hold mortgages), and car payments. When the ten year bond rate goes up, so do mortgage payments. When mortgage rates go up, house prices go down, because fewer people are in a position to buy a house at higher mortgage rates, and rents go up (more competition among people who can’t buy a house). Zero Interest Rate Policy (ZIRP), in force for ten years, has driven house prices back to stratospheric levels. They are now primed to fall, perhaps severely, leaving many homeowners “underwater,” with houses worth way less on the market than the amount of mortgage left to pay off. The re-financing market is dead. Housing starts were already down by a stunning 19 percent in November. Automobile sales are rolling over. Manufacturing and retail sales numbers are down at year end. What’s up: stocks, stocks, stocks.
Also early in 2017, the Fed will abandon its “dot plot” talk about further interest rate hikes. They may also surrender their credibility in the process. The system can’t take the strain of three interest rate rises in 2017. It may be that Janet Yellen has raised the Fed Funds rate a total of one-half a percent in two years solely to be able to lower them again when the real economy finally tanks under that strain of incessant central bank chicanery. By the second quarter of 2017, following a 20 percent stock dump, the Fed will start making noises about Quantitative Easing 4 (QE), or they will cook up some other program that accomplishes the same thing under a new cockamamie label. More QE (or something like it) will drive the dollar back down and gold back up. The housing market will be in the toilet and the rest of the economy will follow it down the drain. By the end of Trump’s first year in office, there will another, greater, dump in the stock markets after the initial 20 percent drop in the first quarter. America will be great again, all right: we’ll be entering a depression greater than the Great Depression of the 1930s.
Ice-Nine would be invoked in a banking emergency — say, a derivatives “accident” that took out some Too-Big-Too-Fail giant, or really anything that triggered the extreme fault lines in the ultra-fragile system that the world’s money elites have cobbled together to keep the garbage barge of global finance from sinking. In his recent book, The Road to Ruin, Rickards reminds readers that the emergency act signed by Bush Two after 9/11 has remained in effect under Obama, so that America is “just one phone call away from martial law.”
Another method for depriving citizens of their financial liberty would be for the government to declare that retirement accounts had to contain a set percentage of US Treasury paper — once again herding people into a financial corral against their will — in order to prop up the value of bonds and tamp down interest rates.
Pension funds are going bust all over the country from the incapacity to stay solvent in a near-ZIRP environment. In 2016, fissures started to show in places like the Dallas Police and Firemen’s Pension fund, when pensioners’ redemptions were shut down. There are pension funds all over the country floundering from the same conditions, since the Fed took the “fix” out of “fixed income.” In the absence of decent “yield,” the pension funds have been herded into risky stock markets, and if those markets blow up, the pension funds are going to blow with them… and then the pensioners’ lives are going to blow up… and then maybe civil order dissolves around the country.
That may be the moment when President Trump and his militarily-weighted cabinet appointees opt for martial law.
There is every sign that black and white racial conflict will grow worse in the year ahead. The week after Christmas 2016 saw an impressive number of shopping mall mass melees of black teens all over the country.
The Oil Quandary
The reports of Peak Oil’s death are exaggerated, to borrow a gag from Mr. Twain. It’s just been playing out in ways that many of us didn’t quite anticipate and it is still at the heart of our economic predicament — which is that you can’t rationalize an annual debt growth rate of 8 percent if your actual economic growth rate is under 4 percent (paraphrasing Chris Martenson at Peak Prosperity.com).
We haven’t run out of oil, but we have run out of oil that is rationally economical to pull out of the ground. The so-called “shale oil miracle” extended the oil age a few years by debt-financed legerdemain. Yes, we drove US oil production way up, almost back up to the 1970 peak production level around 10 million barrels-a-day (b/d). The trouble was that the companies producing it didn’t make a red cent in the process. They just ran up a huge amount of debt to pursue the shale project. The pursuit was on wholeheartedly beginning around 2006, because 1) the Peak Oil story was scaring folks, including folks in the oil industry, and 2) the market price of crude oil soared after 2004 and shale looked like a possibly winning venture — especially since conventional exploration in recent years was turning up almost nothing of significance.
Of course, most of the producers weren’t making any money even at the $110-a-barrel, but they expected improved technology to mitigate that eventually. In the meantime, they just produced too much shale oil and the market was flooded and OPEC got into the act and pumped all-out trying to crash the price further to put the US shale producers out of business, and then nobody made a red cent fracking for shale oil. So, you can see there was a pattern.
The pattern nicely describes the dynamic advanced by Joseph Tainter in his seminal work, The Collapse of Complex Societies: namely that over-investments in complexity lead to diminishing returns. That is, as you keep making your systems extra-hyper-complex, you get less value back for doing it, until you get to the point where there’s no benefit whatsoever, and then the system implodes. And that is exactly what has happened with oil and the economy that was engineered to run on it, and the financial system that evolved to manage the wealth it used to produce.
Don’t be fooled. The low prices at the gasoline pumps only mean that US oil companies are going broke fast, as are American “consumers.” There’s a basic equation I’ve repeated a few times on this blog: oil over $75-a-barrel destroys industrial economies; oil under $75-a-barrel destroys oil companies. That’s were things stand when the energy return on investment falls to 5-to-1, as is the case with shale oil. Steve St. Angelo over at the SRSRocco Report makes the excellent point that it takes at least 30-to-1 energy return on investment to maintain plain vanilla modern life. Anything below that and parts of the economy have to be sacrificed. Trucking, air travel, commuting, theme park vacations, your job…. It’s just another way of describing the pernicious effects of the diminishing returns of over-investments in complexity.
If there is any problem that I have with James Kunstler’s work is his use of foul language. His blog is titled ‘Clusterf–k Nation’ (dashes inserted for decency). That kind of language makes his writing difficult for sensitive souls like myself.
However, his insight is exceptional, so there are moments when I grit my teeth and read what he says, anyway.
It’s rare that I quote as much from an article, as I have done here. In fact, I feel a little embarrassed by it. But, it’s important, and my feelings of embarrassment will subside.
Please. Be careful out there. The times ahead are going to be very trying. Very.
An excellent visualization of Rome’s fall, and why the American Empire is falling. To borrow from Bill Clinton’s campaign slogan:
It’s the economy, stupid!
And yes, we were the stupid ones, since we elected him.
I’m looking forward to this.
We all know that the dirt is piled deep.
Gibby shared this with us, from the comment section of last week’s post, and it’s a great and succinct discussion of the rapture.
Just… um …ignore that ‘countdown to the sign of the woman clothed in the sun’. That is a misunderstanding of Revelation 12. And, it’s not in so many days, hours, etc.
I’m not a huge fan of Nomi Prins. I’m not exactly sure why.
But, I agree with her on a lot of what she says here. I even agree with her on the ‘Trump Effect’, but not the way that she says it. She obviously thinks that Trump will ‘mishandle’ his job.
She calls turning government upside down and setting fire to Washington as ‘mishandling’ the job of POTUS.
I WANT Trump to set fire to Washington and bring down the Empire. Yes, the suffering will be huge, but not as huge as the alternative.
Trouble ahead, kids.
If you want to know the biggest reason why they will assassinate Trump, it’s this one.
After the CIA’s (and George Bush’s) attempt to invade Cuba without Kennedy’s approval, JFK promised to break the CIA up into pieces.
They murdered him for it.
The CIA is bigger and more lethal now than it was then. They are at the heart of ‘The Deep State’. If they don’t assassinate Trump, it means that Trump has ‘made a deal’.
We’ll see what happens.
Here is what Chuck Schumer said:
The new leader of Democrats in the Senate says Donald Trump is being “really dumb” for picking a fight with intelligence officials, suggesting they have ways to strike back, after the president-elect speculated Tuesday that his “so-called” briefing about Russian cyberattacks had been delayed in order to build a case.
“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer Tuesday evening on MSNBC after host Rachel Maddow informed him that intelligence sources told NBC news that the briefing had not been delayed.
upChuck Schumer didn’t mention JFK, but could have.
‘Dealey Plaza’ is what happens to you, when you go up against the CIA.
You’ll be hearing more about the ‘Global Engagement Center’ in the coming weeks and months. Orwell’s ‘Ministry of Truth’ is rising.
Eventually, that horrible ediface – or one like it – will shut me, and others like me, down. Hopefully, you will have done all that you can before these avenues for the dissemination of truth get shut down.
Dark days ahead.
But, Trump was unimpressed by the threat.
If Trump is the ‘real deal’, then you will need to be praying for him. Tearing down the rotten edifice that is ‘the swamp’ in Washington DC, will take a miracle. Especially to survive without being assassinated.
Michael Krieger says this:
The following will probably be one of the most important articles I’ve ever written. After spending some time watching the recently concluded intelligence briefing to the U.S. Senate, I’ve determined it to be one of the most disturbing and ominous things I can remember. I have several takeaways from what I saw, and none of them are good.
Unfortunately, he’s probably right.
War is coming.
I’m not sure that Trump will be able to stop it.
It will be a race. Who takes out who, first.
It Trump is the real deal, I hope that he succeeds.
I’m not optimistic.
As Mac says:
We’re living in the calm before the storm.
I agree, but expect them to do everything that they can to keep the party going. Unfortunately, ‘motivated self interest’ by individual members of ‘The Club’ will undermine their attempts to ‘Party like it’s 1928’.
An era is over.
The new one is going to hurt. A lot.
Chris, from Poland, shared this page with us, two weeks ago. And, it lists the resources that talk about the one thing that very few people are talking about:
As Martin Armstrong has said, we are due. We are on the downward slope for global temperatures. This would be devastating at the best of times.
But… these are NOT the best of times.
Chris also recommended another page along the same topic, but listing individual articles:
I will be trying to keep track of these. We’ll see what happens.
I think that Marcel’s title says it all, but what he says – and the list of articles to back up what he says…
Marcel, I wish that you (and all of my American brothers and sisters in Christ) were somewhere else, than where you are… when you say that.
I grieve over what is coming. I really do.
ARTICLES OF NOTE
These articles have a more individual importance. They cross categories, and are often in their own category. And, I think that these should be your first stop in your reading.
note: I AM INCLUDING THIS FROM LAST WEEK, SINCE I ACCIDENTLY GARBLED THE LINK. Here’s what I said, last week: Okay, this is loooooong. REAL long.
But, there’s a lot of humor here, and it saves me from having to write it, myself.
There is some… language …in it. But, it’s also good writing, which I always like to see. I can promise more than a chuckle to those of you with a sense of humor.
Our Lord said that these kinds of natural disasters would be happening. And, we haven’t seen ANYTHING like what we are about to see.
(Thank you, Chris. I’m finally getting to all the great links that you’ve been sharing with us.)
Chris also offered this link that points to a link between volcano eruptions and the sun:
Okay, Clif High is into spooky mumbo jumbo, and I am NOT advocating spooky mumbo jumbo. But, I suspect that there IS something to his linguistic analysis. I just don’t buy into the spooky mumbo jumbo that he claims is the reason.
We’ll see what happens. What he’s predicting is dire in the extreme. Let’s hope that he’s wrong.
I know that this isn’t a ‘news flash’ for any of you, but still… we need to get this into our heads, because the lies are killing us.
So, let me repeat again:
And, some people do it from the moment that they wake up, until they go to sleep. They probably even lie while they are sleeping.
An example of this is Viji Varghese. When he came on the scene a few years ago, he sounded like a liar, but I couldn’t prove it. He hid behind the moniker ‘V the Guerilla Economist’. Well, it turns out that V sells TVs at Best Buy. He might have been a gorilla, but he was no economist.
Every word that he said on the Hagmann and Hagmann Report, was a lie. And, he was (and is) a complete anti-Semite. I find a lot of correlation between lying liars and anti-Semitism, or just racism.
Racism is stupid, and racists use racism to hide their own stupidity. And no, you can’t fix stupid.
Anyway, my point here is that we have a history of lying liars, crafting lies for the purpose of making money. And, it always seems to be money. Or, power – which is the use of money to exert your will upon others.
Why do we keep falling for the lies?
Why do we allow ourselves to be persuaded by lying liars?
Because we do not love the truth.
The truth hurts. The truth reveals that we aren’t as smart as we think that we are. The truth tells us that we aren’t as attractive/important/useful/desirable as we would like to be. The truth tells us that we are all horrible sinners with the capacity for great evil.
We are all evil.
Let that sink in. YOU are evil. I am evil too, so I’m with you on this one. But, evil is evil. Evil is the enemy of truth. And, evil is the enemy of good.
Yet, Christ died for His enemies – you and me. He overcame our evil with goodness. Compared that level of goodness, we are all Hitler, Stalin and Mao.
But, people don’t like being faced with such truth. It’s too much for them. People prefer the deadly fantasy to the painful truth.
I suspect that Charles Hugh Smith is lying to himself, even as he writes about truth.
Are you lying to yourself?
I find this standoff between China and Taiwan to be interesting. Both sides need to be careful about what they say, and do. If they make too many ‘belicose’ statements, they’ll either be forced to suffer the shame of backing down, or be forced to follow through with their promises.
And yes, Taiwan can and will defend herself. It is doubtful that China has the capacity to actually take over Taiwan. Yes, they might be able to bomb Taiwan into rubble, but the price that they would pay, would be gigantic.
Of course, my own feelings on the issue are rather personal, since I live here.
Anyone who includes the line…
“Franz Kafka, phone home.”
…should probably be listened to.
The point of the article is the rise of the police state. States are looking for money, and they will put you in jail, to get it. California, Minnesota and Kentucky are doing this. Tennessee is doing it. In fact, everyone is doing it.
And, as injustice increases, so will the anger at the government. Eventually, that anger will spill over into violence. Actually, I shouldn’t say that word, ‘eventually’. It’s already here.
The Revolutionary War was fought because people had had enough. They were tired of the injustices perpetrated by their government, and they weren’t going to allow them to do that anymore. And, when the government sent in the police, the police were gunned down.
The police had better start pushing back against their government, and stop the injustice. If they don’t, they will be gunned down by an increasingly angry population.
Unfortunately, the good police officers will be pushed out, and all that will be left, will be the mercenaries that were hired to extort money from the population.
We’ve seen this before, and the idiots in power are doing it again.
This article is annoying. At least, to me.
Why is it annoying?
Because the author identifies the problem, but doesn’t understand the solution. In fact, he only identifies part of the problem.
The problem that he describes is the collapse of the availability of energy, but it’s also coupled with another problem… one that has been around for six thousand years …the basic dishonesty of humanity.
Since he does not wish to address that, or can’t, he is unable to reach the proper conclusion.
Because we are dishonest, we will not approach the problem of declining energy with any kind of logic. Therefore, our innate dishonesty will cause us to solve the problem by killing each other. And, those societies that are not consumed by violence, will die by disease.
There’s a video in here that tracks the exponential increase in human population. When we discovered fossil fuels, the rate of population increase exploded.
But, it wasn’t ‘fossil fuel’ that did it. It wasn’t even medical science. It was sanitation, cleanliness and food safety. Of course, the ‘sanitation, cleanliness and food safety’ occurred because fossil fuels gave us the luxury of discovering the need for such things… and the energy to implement them.
So, I will admit to an indirect correlation.
The point is this… because we are dishonest, we will kill each other. The declining availability of energy will only be the excuse. The collapse of basic sanitation, cleanliness and food safety will only be a byproduct.
Dishonesty is deadly, and six thousand years of murder and massacre has not been enough of a lesson for a dishonest humanity.
We never learn, and we are about to pay very dearly for that.
Just when you think that the Washington Post or the New York Times can’t sink any lower… they do.
The next thing that you know, they’ll be running stories on the latest sighting of Elvis.
So, all you guys and gals at WaPo and NYT… how does it feel to be the laughingstock of the world?
Just in case your current level of nausea isn’t enough, you can read this. However, I will not consider myself liable for any electronic device or keyboard that malfunctions because you threw up all over it.
You’ve been warned.
Ah yesssss… the smell of corruption in the morning.
The poor struggle to survive, while the fat cats struggle…. to keep from laughing.
(Wait, is that the sound of pitchforks and cries for a revolution?)
Wow. I mean WOW.
I am amazed at how awful things are turning out for India. Narendra Modi has single-handedly destroyed his country. Of course, he had help, but this was apparently his baby.
And, the destruction… it’s incredible. India is on it’s way to becoming a ‘failed state’.
Governments should never be allowed to control an economy. Banks shouldn’t, either. The centralization of economic and financial power will ALWAYS lead to corruption and foolishness – or both.
In this case, it’s BOTH. On steroids.
Of course, India is also an experiment. And, the world elites are interested in how this experiment works out. In fact, some – such as Venezuela and Australia – aren’t waiting for the results of that experiment to come in.
And, as always, it will be the poor who are hurt the most.
How utterly ironic.
Hoist by their own petard.
And, they let him do it. Idiots.
Maybe I should have put this in the ‘humor section’. It exposes how ridiculous the media are. It ridicules the Democratic Party – which isn’t democratic.
It puts on display, the utterly disgusting antics of all involved.
But, since disgust isn’t very humorous, I put it here.
Just when you think that Congress can’t get more disgusting, they demonstrate that their ability to be corrupt is bottomless.
These people have no shame. None.
And, it’s pure treason.
And, Trump weighed in on this corrupt decision by Congress. Well done, Donald!
And, Trump shames the Republicans into reversing their corrupt change in the ethics committee.
Is it possible that Trump might actually succeed in some ‘swamp draining’?
The thought of that is… energizing. But, I need to be careful not to let my hopes get too high.
Ah yes, the globalist elites are thinking up new and ‘innovative’ ways to try and eliminate cash.
What will they think up, next?
(No, no, I don’t want an answer. Really. Ignorance is bliss.)
I read this and thought, “Wow, how far we’ve fallen.”
One of the reasons why the Roman Empire fell, was bureaucracy. In fact, it kills nations and empires, everywhere. They literally regulate you into poverty. And then… death.
In fact, I wonder whether the Antichrist system will merely be a bureaucratic death machine.
“I’m sorry sir. But, the rules are the rules. If you don’t have a mark, we are required to extract your head and send it to the ‘Department of Extracted Heads’. Your body will go to the Department of Headless Bodies. And, we need to do both, simultaneously. It’s the rules.”
Okay, so it probably won’t be like that, but I wonder sometimes.
A rare moment to celebrate: WaPo actually admits to publishing fake news.
Break out the champagne!
Get the fireworks.
A lying liar admitted to lying.
Oh, THAT would be NICE. Some of those server administrators might want some extra cash.
Mr. Assange is a very generous guy.
After yesterday’s special report, I saw this today. This is so sad.
Why is honesty and integrity so hard?
Hey kids, let’s have more rhetoric about why we need to go to war with Russia – just like that ‘Gulf of Tonkin’ resolution that took us to war in Vietnam and caused the death of millions.
On second thought… let’s don’t.
Suing the Cia News Network?
That could get you killed, but there are so many people that want Assange dead already…
Good for you, Sarah. My respect for you has improved. But, there’s a lot more that you could do.
Go get em’ Beppe Gillo!
He’s annoying the elites to DEATH!
And, they are targetting Marcel.
As they say, you know that you are over the target when you are receiving flak.
Well done, brother. Keep up the good work. I’m sorry that I cannot profile more of your articles.
Please. Everyone. Read ALL of his stuff.
This category has expanded significantly. It’s as if the flood gates on this issue have opened. It’s an indication of the seriousness of the situation. And, it’s very serious, indeed.
Ethiopia is an extremely corrupt government and has made worthless promises that they will carefully fill the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam. I believe that they will fill that dam as fast as possible, drying up the Nile, just as chapter 19 of Isaiah said that they would.
It is said that they will begin filling the dam, next year.
This is going to be traumatic for Egypt – just as Isaiah said.
The words ‘about to open’ should strike fear in the heart of the Egyptian government. But, there’s a word that’s even worse. It comes from the subtitle:
The controversial dam is nearly done, but will drought and lack of grid infrastructure lessen its impact?
That word is ‘drought’.
Remember that the government of Ethiopia is as corrupt as they come. That dam, plus corruption, pluse drought, equals a dry Nile and the fulfillment of prophecy.
And, this dam – and other dams – are going to be completed, even though the world howled for them not to be.
And, here’s a small overview of the history of conflict over the Nile.
Okay, so Trump won.
This is good, because it means that Clinton lost.
This category speaks to the aftermath of the Trump win. My hope is that I’ll be able to close this category out, when the world realizes that Trump will not be as good as people hoped, or as bad as they feared.
Trump will be just one more president, in a long line of presidents, that compromized on the ideals that are the foundation of America. (Either that, or the Deep State will assassinate him.)
Well, you hafta’ give Trump points for gusto!
I don’t follow hype, so I am unmoved by what many Trump supporters are saying about The Donald.
But, I truly LOVE the anguish that the media are feeling. Their howls of outrage are music to my ears, so I find myself grateful that The Donald is having such an impact.
Unfortunately, even if Trump was everything that his supporters say that he is… the catastrophes rolling down upon us are far larger than the office of POTUS.
I run hot and cold on Gingrich, but he’s right.
I just do not see how Trump can win against these establishment institutions. And, as Kunstler says, “Trump is the designated bag holder”.
When everything falls, they need someone to blame.
Trump will be that ‘someone’.
He will go down in history as the one who caused The Greatest Depression – just as they blamed Herbert Hoover for The Great Depression.
Trump will be the one left holding the bag.
I suspect that it’s an example of ‘grandstanding’, but I still like it.
And yes, Mexico needs to pay for it.
Macy’s boycott of Trump turned into a boycott of Macy’s.
If a department store does something as stupid as that, they should be boycotted. Macy’s is a prime example of how that works.
Well done, kids.
ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL COLLAPSE
We’ve been talking about the collapse of the economy and financial system for a very long time, and every day that collapse is delayed… well …the collapse just gets worse and worse. Eventually, it will be an explosion that will devastate the world and lead to chaos, confusion, death, destruction and war. Lots and lots of war.
In fact, it has begun already.
By the time that you see it, it will be too late to do anything about it.
Those of you who are a part of some pension fund, you need to know that is probably a ponzi scheme. Politicians are at fault – for the ‘public’ pension funds. As well as, setting unrealistic expectations.
You can’t fight math.
I hope that you’ll be ready for 2017.
The following quote, is from the article:
We are in the midst of a once in a lifetime crisis and there is only one thing more frightening than not knowing what is coming next, and that is living in a world run by “experts” who think they know exactly what is going to happen next. These are the same “experts” who didn’t see the 2005 housing bubble, the 2008 financial collapse, the EU implosion, Brexit, or the Trump presidency.
This is going to hurt.
And then… it will get worse.
I think that Part Two can be summed up with three words:
ANGER AND VIOLENCE
If anyone has any doubt about that forecast, read the article. In fact, read it even if you agree.
The correlation between the rise of capital controls in China, and that of Bitcoin are interesting. This article asks why China hasn’t put a stop to Bitcoin.
I suspect that the problem lies with Chinese officials, at the highest levels, not being familiar with Bitcoin. That will change.
Having said that, there is another possibility. It could be that China is interested in the possibility of implementing a cryptocurrency of its own. Therefore, it would WANT to allow Bitcoin to be successful.
I believe that the Mark of the Beast will be a part of some cryptocurrency scheme like Bitcoin. However, I do not believe that this tattoo will be an implant. Implants are hackable. A tattoo would not normally be considered ‘hackable’.
The bottom line – in terms of this article – is that China is in trouble. Big trouble. Capital controls are ALWAYS a sign of trouble. ALWAYS.
Oh, and a growing inventory of Iron Ore is ALSO a big sign. Things are NOT looking good for China, or 2017.
I don’t think that anyone can overestimate the damage that the failure of America’s pension system will cause. I think that we will be VERY surprised at the explosion, when it happens.
One more reason to get OUT of treasuries, if you are in them.
This will definitely hurt.
Okay, this gets a bit technical, so you might nod-off before you finish the article.
The article is about the nuts and bolts of why the China Miracle isn’t, and will soon collapse. And, more importantly, the social compact made between Beijing and the people of China… well …that social agreement will fall with it.
The global elites wanted to use the China model. And, they’ll still try.
You don’t need to read this. The headline says it all.
He took one look at all the criminal activity within the bank and realized that it was hopeless.
WOW. I have no words.
And, THAT is just what we can see. It’s not counting any future liabilities that aren’t labelled ‘debt’.
We knew that the ‘Christmas Season’ was going to be bad this year, and this is confirmation. There will be more of this. Much more. And, it’s going to reverberate throughout the economy.
Um, yeah. That would keep me up at night, if my livelihood was dependant upon propping up the international banking system.
I see a big Boo YEOW! coming.
Kyle Bass is a VERY smart guy. He sees financial devastation coming, and a way to profit from it.
I just see the devastation. Whether he can profit from it… I really don’t care.
Well, since Americans don’t wish to work that hard for wages that low, their cost of food is about to go up.
A friend of mine was exclaiming at how much more expensive tomatoes were in Taiwan than in the US. Um… this is the reason. Or, at least part of the reason.
These are at least worth a chuckle. And, it might save you from going nuts.
I had a bit of a laugh at these, and I hope that you will too.
Um… errr… irony. Of the deepest kind.
Do you remember that Trump is the ‘designated bag holder’?
Gavin McInnes channels his imaginary brother Jim. Jim is apparently Scottish with a pronounced Scottish brogue.
Well done, Gavin.
Clan Little probably stole the horses of clan McInnes, but I’m sure that you hold no hard feelings.
Islam is the most vile and Satanic religion on the planet. It is violent, repressive, racist and supremacist. It isn’t just a religion. It’s an ideology that seeks to destroy any nation, country and government that it comes in contact with.
These are the articles that demonstrate what Islam REALLY is.
THIS is beyond PATHETIC. In fact, I feel a bit insulted that Satan would devise such a ridiculous religion and use such ridiculous proof that the false religion is true.
Muhammad – violence be upon him (vbuh) – had a gigantic wart on his back. And THAT was supposedly PROOF that Muhammad was a messenger of Allah.
So, if anyone should have such a deformity… you could start your own maniacal religion, have as many sex slaves as you want and set yourself up as the next best thing since God created the Earth.
That’s assuming that you’re a maniacal psychopath name Muhammad – vbuh. I guess that you’d hafta be.
Marcel said this, at the end of this article:
Quote me – The reason Obama, Angela Merkel, Francois Hollande, the EU, the UN, and the US are so cozy and friendly $ with Islam is because they are evil, just like the religion of terrorism they defend and protect.
He said ‘quote me’, so I did. And, it’s a great quote.
Like a Shakespearian tragedy, we are the authors of our own demise.
We are seeing the fulfillment of the words of Jesus, right now. And, it seems that Islam is leading the way. What insanity!
What is wrong with North America and Europe?
Have they – and we – gone insane?
This is a horrifying year in review of the destruction of Germany, by Islamic immigration. Here is just the summary:
Mass migration from the Muslim world is fast-tracking the Islamization of Germany, as evidenced by the proliferation of no-go zones, Sharia courts, polygamy and child marriages. Mass migration has also been responsible for a host of social disruptions, including jihadist attacks, a migrant rape epidemic, a public health crisis, rising crime and a rush by German citizens to purchase weapons for self-defense — and even to abandon Germany altogether.
Development Minister Gerd Müller warned that the biggest refugee movements to Europe are still to come. He said that only 10% of the migrants from the chaos in Iraq and Syria have reached Europe so far: “Eight to ten million migrants are still on the way.”
“There are written instructions … today we are not allowed to say anything negative about the refugees. This is government journalism, and this leads to a situation in which the public loses their trust in us. This is scandalous.” — Wolfgang Herles, Deutschlandfunk public radio.
The Turkish government has sent 970 clerics — most of whom do not speak German — to lead 900 mosques in Germany that are controlled by the Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs (DITIB), a branch of the Turkish government’s Directorate for Religious Affairs, known in Turkish as Diyanet. Critics accuse Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of using DITIB mosques to prevent Turkish migrants from integrating into German society.
A Cologne police superintendent revealed that he was ordered to remove the term “rape” from an internal police report about the mass sexual assaults in Cologne on New Year’s Eve. He said that an official at the North-Rhine Westphalia Interior Ministry told him in an angry tone: “This is not rape. Remove this term from your report. Submit a new report.”
The German branch of Open Doors, a non-governmental organization supporting persecuted Christians, reported that thousands of Christians in German refugee shelters are being persecuted by Muslims, sometimes even by their security guards.
A 23-year-old Iraqi asylum seeker wearing a T-shirt with the words “I’m Muslim Don’t Panic” was assaulted by fellow refugees for offending Islam. He was beaten so badly that he was hospitalized.
Half of the three million ethnic Turks living in Germany believe it is more important to follow Islamic Sharia law than German law if the two are in conflict, according to a survey.
A document leaked to Der Spiegel revealed that more than 33,000 migrants who are supposed to be deported are still in Germany, being cared for by German taxpayers. Many of the migrants destroyed their passports and are believed to have lied about their countries of origin to make it impossible for them to be deported.
Migrants committed 142,500 crimes during the first six months of 2016, according to a report by the Federal Criminal Police Office. This is equivalent to 780 crimes committed by migrants every day, or 32.5 crimes each hour, an increase of nearly 40% over 2015. The data includes only those crimes in which a migrant suspect has been caught.
Bild, the largest-circulation newspaper in Germany, warned that the country was “capitulating to Islamic law.”
I have very dear friends who are German. I have other European friends, living in countries that follow the same path. The pain and suffering that will follow, because of the greed and foolishness of European leaders… well …my heart breaks to think of it.
Since I do not consider watching someone commit suicide to be entertaining… watching Europe do the same… is horrifying. What’s worse is the mind-numbing stupidity in action.
And, to put a bit of an exclamation point to all this, the Mafia is claiming that it’s making more money on these illegal immigrants, than on drug trafficking.
The word ‘WOW’ just doesn’t seem to be a big enough word to describe my utter dismay at how stupid all this is.
Another reason to build that wall. This is going to be bad.
12 days’ wages to fill your gas tank. OUCH.
GOG AND MAGOG
I’ve been writing about the coming of Gog and Magog for a while. You can find a lot of that, here:
And, the articles below point to that coming. I really, Really, REALLY hope that you’ll be ready for this. Please read Ezekiel’s Fire to make sure. (And yes, it’s free.)
Um… that should make you pause for a moment.
No US aircraft carriers. All at port.
That’s a problem, kids. A big one. They aren’t deployed, because they can’t deploy them.
This might need to go into the Matthew 24:7 section, but I’m putting it here because it’s Turkey. (Since Turkey seems set to join Russia and Iran.)
Muslims in non-Muslim countries tend to want to bring in foreign imams to preach at their local mosques. Sunni Muslims bring them in from Saudi Arabia or Egypt. Shiites bring them in from Iran. And, the Turkish Muslims bring them in from Turkey.
And, like the Jesuits, all those imams report back to their own authorities.
I find this to be interesting. One of two things is happening:
1. Either this is a false flag by Turkish intelligence
2. This is evidence that Turkey has truly turned against her ISIS protege.
I actually believe the latter. Turkey is ceratainly willing to play the ‘false flag’ game, but I get the feeling that Turkey really has turned away from America’s geopolitical asperations and is seeking alliance with Russia.
We’ll see how the facts bear themselves out, but it appears that Turkey has put the brakes on its support for the CIA and NATO. I suspect that the coup attempt of July 15 rattled Erdogan far more than many realize. They came within minutes of killing him, and he’s running scared.
The loving arms of Mother Russia await, Erdogan.
The Russia-China axis solidifies its relationship. I’m wondering who will be next.
If you want another reason for why Russia will be able to create the grand alliance that will come down and attack Israel, think no farther than the rising income from oil and gas sales.
This kind of stupidity makes me want to scream. The problem is that it’s really criminal.
They DO NOT CARE about the numbers of people who die in the petty games. They’re psychopaths. Every stinking one of them.
And, it’s treason.
Thanks, Gibby, for sharing this with us.
I’m surprised that Turkey continues to allow the US to use Incirlik. I guess that you can’t abrogate agreements that easily, or that quickly.
I also suspect that Turkey is doing to tough negotiating with Russia. Turkey doesn’t want to sell her virtue to cheaply.
The Land of Israel and the People of Israel are at the heart of what is happening in these Last Days. God is at work IN Israel and WITH Israel.
If you are against Israel, then you are a supporter of Islam and Satan.
If you are FOR Israel, then you support the work of God and the victory that God will have over Lucifer.
Please join me in that battle.
God bless Brigitte Gabriel, and God bless Israel.
Unfortunately, I’m not sure that the damage that America has done will be undone quickly enough for the US to avoid the judgment of God over this. Of course, judgment was going to come, anyway. It will now come more quickly.
Netanyahu has never been my favorite Israeli politician. Benny Begin holds that place in my mind, until further notice.
However, I am not putting this here because I dislike Netanyahu. I don’t dislike him.
I’m putting this here because it is a demonstration that Israel is one of the few countries in the world that will put their leaders in jail, if they break the law.
Do you see this happening in ANY other country in the Middle East?
Does any other country, outside of Taiwan, do this? (And yes, Taiwan has a history of jailing politicians.)
How ironic. The most politically dispised countries in Asia – Israel and Taiwan – are the ones that are the most democratic.
What a world that we live in.
This is revolting on so many levels, that I hardly know where to begin.
Anti-Semitism is on the rise.
No, it’s worse than that. Naziism is on the rise, and the hatred for Israel tracks that rise. And, that is why I am putting this link, here. This is about Israel.
More importantly, it’s about Jerusalem.
Then, in yet another feat of fake journalism, Time magazine claims that Hitler wrote ‘Mein Kampt’ while in prison.
He did not.
It was Jesuit Priest, Bernhard Stempfle who wrote Mein Kampf.
So, the next time you meet a neo-Nazi, tell him (and it’s usually, but not always, a ‘him’) that they are following Jesuit doctrine.
Instead of calling them neo-Nazis, I should probably call them, neo-Jesuits.
Yet more proof that Israel is a society ruled by law.
No matter how the soldier felt about the attacker, he was required to follow the law. All Israelis are required to follow the law. He did not, and I hope that other Israeli soldiers understand that he truly was guilty. Is guilty.
Those Israelis who disagree with me, do not understand that they are asking for anarchy and civil war. Foolishness always has a price.
Yup. It’s the truth. All of it.
Israel has been a thorn in the side of the Elite’s plans for global hegemony, for a very long time.
So, I think that Dave Hodges is right on this one.
(Thanks for this one, Gibby!)
This one also came from Chris, from Poland.
The world is meeting to try and pry Jerusalem from the hands of the Jews, where it rightly belongs. And this group that meets in just nine days, is a rogues gallery of characters. The evil of the world will be meeting, and it turns my stomach to see such an event.
The world will pay for this, and it will not be pleasant to watch.
I truly hope that you’ll be ready for this
