I’ve been making predictions about ‘the year ahead’ for several years now, and I’m often wrong. In fact, I have a dismal record for accuracy.
It’s a good thing that I’m not a prophet.
All that I can do is tell you what I see and tell you the implications. The timing is in the hands of God, and He hasn’t let me know what that timing is. To put it another way…
My predictions WILL HAPPEN.
I just don’t know WHEN they will happen.
The best that I can give you is ‘soon’. However, soon is getting closer and closer, so I’m thinking that 2016 could be the year when it all comes crashing down.
I truly hope that you’ll be ready for this.

The Year Ahead – 2016 Edition
As I write this, the windows are open, and I’m in my shorts. The weather is great. It’s Taipei, and the weather tomorrow will be even better.
Everything else that I say in this article, you will have to be taken with a grain of salt. My accuracy – in terms of timing – is abysmal. I never said that I was a prophet. The best that I can do is warn you about what I see.
Unfortunately, the events of 2015 were so dire, that we can only assume that last year was a foretaste of what lies before us, this year. So, I want to take you through some of the events that stick in my mind, and tell you what might happen this year.
And yes, I firmly and absolutely believe that 2016 will be worse than 2015.
You can take THAT to the… um …bank, at least while it still stands.
Turkey
We ended 2015 with the beginning of civil war in Turkey, a civil war started by President Erdogan to make sure that he won enough votes to change the Turkish constitution, so that he could elect himself President-for-Life. That civil war – begun last year – will increase this year.
Please remember that the Kurds are 20% of the Turkish population. Erdogan’s attempt to destroy them will cause them to push back and destroy Turkey. Unfortunately for Erdogan, the Kurds will have help.
The Kurds have been meeting with Putin and Lavrov in Moscow, and Russia has promised to help the Kurds. Ostensibly, it will be to help them in their fight against ISIS, but don’t believe it.
Russia is going to help the Kurds in their attempt to destroy Turkey.
I say bravo for Russia and the Kurds.
I believe that this will also be a fulfillment of that part of Isaiah 19, in which God speaks of Assyria being in confederation with Israel and Egypt. And yes, the Bible says that Israel, Assyria and Egypt will be tightly bound together in a confederation.
Does that blow your mind?
Yep, and it blows mine, too.
Having said that, the above probably won’t be fulfilled in 2016. However, we will see the direction of that fulfillment …in 2016.
Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam – GERD
Of course the fulfillment of Isaiah 19 points directly to terrible times for Egypt and great suffering for the Egyptian people. The tributaries to the the Nile river are being dammed up, and the Nile is going to go dry.
The main dam that will accomplish this feat is being built on the Blue Nile, in Ethiopia. It’s called the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, or GERD. It is slated for completion in July, 2017. But, it increasingly appears that this ‘completion date’ is a deliberate lie.
I have noticed that Ethiopia is rushing this dam through and has been deliberately underestimating how much of the dam has been completed. I keep watching and reading what they are saying about the GERD, and they are essentially saying that they’ve only completed between zero and five percent of the dam in one year – while working on it seven days a week, fifty two weeks a year.
Interesting, dontcha’ think?
Furthermore, this dam was supposed to start filling in 2015, so that it’s fill-rate could be slow enough to keep the impact on the Nile as small as possible. But, there’s no indication that this dam has begun to fill, yet. This means that the fill rate is going to be far more rapid when they start filling the water reservoir that this dam is designed for.
The more that they delay, the drier that the Nile will be.
Will it happen in 2016?
I don’t think so, but it will certainly have much of its foundation in 2016.
Please read Isaiah 19, again and again. It’s the future.
Syria
Unfortunately for the poor Syrians, Isaiah 19 is entwined with Isaiah 17.
Why do I say that?
Well, Isaiah 17 speaks of the destruction of Damascus from being a city, and…
…that has NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!!
Sorry to shout like that, but I see a lot of foolishness being thrown about, by foolish teachers.
So, let me help you get this straight:
Damascus has been conquered many times, but was always been quickly repaired and reinhabited.
Is Chicago still a city?
Did it ever STOP being a city?
Even though it burned down in 1871?
Right. The same thing happened to Damascus, but it wasn’t ‘taken away from being a city’. At least, until now.
We are seeing the fulfillment of Isaiah 17, as you read this.
I believe – as the Russians help defeat the rebels in northern Syria – that the rebels will move their focus to Damascus. The Assad government already has had difficulty in getting rid of the rebels in the Jobar neighborhood of Damascus, so I expect that the rebels will enlarge their presence there – when their supply lines to Turkey are finally cut, later this year.
We’ve already seen videos and pictures of how Jobar looks, right now. In 2016, other neighborhoods of Damascus will have the same look.
My question is whether the Assad government falls in 2016. It may never fall, so maybe I should ask whether Damascus falls in 2016. My only answer is:
Maybe.
Oil War
The other conflict that we will be seeing is in the oil arena. OPEC took the unprecedented move of pumping oil at their maximum capacity in 2015. Normally, they don’t do that, but there appears to be something of an attempt to take down Russia.
Russia has a higher production cost for their oil, and Saudi Arabia is hoping that they can drive Russia into economic collapse by pushing the price of oil lower. The problem is that Russia is still surviving and OPEC is hurting.
The question is whether OPEC can keep this up. I think that OPEC can keep doing this, but the cost will be high. And I hope that they choke on it.
The Arab members of OPEC are a vile and evil bunch, and I hope that they go down in flames. And, I suspect that Russia shares my feeling, and may be in a position to help the Saudis choke on their ambitions.
This is where I think that Gog and Magog comes in. If Russia is the Land of Magog, then this oil war will be a prime motivation for Gog to assemble her allies and attack the Middle East – with the first target as Israel.
If Turkey is the Land of Magog, then the motivations will be different.
Just remember that the identity of Gog and the Land of Magog will be determined by who is allied with Iran. Iran is the easiest member of this alliance to identify, so you will need to watch Iran for verification of the identity of Gog.
Iran
The situation with Iran is interesting. They have the ability to bypass the Persian Gulf and supply oil tankers outside the gulf area. This means that they could still sell oil, while blockading the Persian Gulf. This would boost the revenues of Iran and Russia, while destroying OPEC.
Will Iran find a ‘safe’ way to block tanker traffic in the Persian Gulf?
Hmmmm… I don’t know. We will hafta see.
Economic and Financial Collapse
Of course, ANY conflict in the Persian Gulf will lead to financial collapse. And, if there isn’t a conflict in the Persian Gulf, there will STILL be a financial collapse. The only question is when, and what will start it.
Just remember that financial collapse and economic collapse aren’t the same. However, the one always leads to the other.
Right now, economies around the world are collapsing, and the global financial system is feeling the strain of that collapse. I do not think that the financial system can take too much more of this.
Governments are already signalling that they will default on their loans – at least, the loans made in a foreign currency. Those defaults will hit the portfolios held by banks and other financial institutions. Eventually, they won’t be able to take anymore, and they’ll collapse.
And, when one bank collapses, others will soon follow.
Will this happen in 2016?
I believe that it will, but there’s always the chance that the psychopaths in charge have another trick up their sleeve. Since I cannot predict such things, I have prepared myself for a collapse this year.
Will you be ready when the inevitable happens?
And yes, a financial and economic collapse IS INEVITABLE!!

EMP Attack On The US
We saw America march towards World War III in 2014, when they overthrew the government of Ukraine. That was a bridge too far, in the minds of the Russians, and they have launched a carefully measured counterattack.
Russia has been successful in their counterattack, in both Ukraine and Syria. The question is whether America will allow Russia to succeed in the face of American failure.
It’s hard to say, but the neocons in charge of American foreign policy might want to force something in 2016, if they think that a neo-libertarian – like The Donald – is set to win the 2016 election. Unless Donald Trump is a closet neocon, then you can expect the US State Department and the CIA to panic and push too far, too fast – against Russia.
Russia ALREADY knows that the neocons want Russia dead. They know this and they are planning to do something about it. The only question is about WHAT they will do, and I think that I know the answer:
I think that Russia will use a proxy to hit the US with an EMP weapon.
Russia won’t do it directly, because they don’t want to be nuked in return. But, they’ll use someone like North Korea, Pakistan or some terrorist group like Lashkar-e-Taiba.
All that Russia would need to do, is provide a nuke and the right delivery method – to a group that wants to do an attack on the US. All that they would need to do is spread rumors of such an attack, and then make it happen.
In fact, Russia could do it themselves, and just make sure that everyone believes that so-and-so did it.
It’s what I would do.
Will it happen in 2016?
I’m expecting it in 2016, but I cannot be sure that it will happen then.
Matthew 24:7
Jesus told us that ethnic group would rise against ethnic group in the Last Days. The Bible normally translates the word ‘Ethnos’ as nation, and it’s a correct translation – if you understand that original meaning of the word, nation. In our modern day, with our modern ideas of what it means to be a ‘nation’, we would do better to reconnect to the meaning of Ethnos:

And, we saw the beginnings of the fulfillment of Matthew 24:7 in the invasion of Europe by wave after wave of young Muslim men, of military age. This wave brings with it rape, murder, theft, violence and anger. Lots and lots of anger.
The people of Europe are increasingly afraid of what is washing up on their shores, and they have nowhere to flee from this invasion. And, when you can’t flee, the only alternative is…
…fight.
More and more Europeans will take the law into their own hands, as the ability of European governments to protect their own people disintegrates. More mosques will be torched. More Muslim homes will be burned. More violent demonstrations will occur.
Those Muslims already in Europe will respond with their own violence.
It will be a truly uncivil war.
And, it will spiral completely out of control. We will also see the Muslims in America look at this and lash out in their own communities. So, I’m expect this to happen in more than just Europe.
Anti-Semitism And Anti-Zionism
Unfortunately, all of this is fodder for those who hate anyone who is different. Racists of all shape and color have been coming out of the woodwork, and we will see more of that in 2016.
Unfortunately, one particular element of this is anti-semitism – and its twin brother, anti-zionism. In fact, anti-semites carefully cloak their hatred of the Jews, in a hatred of Israel.
Anti-Semites know that hatred of the Jews is unacceptable, so they hide it by claiming that they are only supporting the rights of the Palestinians. I’ve run into a lot of this, and it’s very, very cleverly done. But, it is still a pretty vile form of racism.
In fact, it’s utterly sickening – as well as increasing ferocity.
I was disheartened to hear a particularly evil form of it just a week ago. It occurred in an interview that I was listening to. The interviewer said to the interviewee:
“I’ve been beginning to wonder if the Jews aren’t really orchestrating quite a lot of this. I mean for a tiny country, I tell ya’ that bunch really has a lot of pull in the world.”
Later, the interviewer also said this:
“I’m reading this book right now called the ‘The Bad War’ formerly known as the good war, and uh, I’ll tell ya’ it lays out a pretty compelling timeline of these events from the Balfour Declaration right on down the line in exactly even down to… ”
And then,
“How controversial would it be —- to say it’s beginning to look like Adolf Hitler wasn’t that bad of a guy?”
I went and tracked down the book that the Interviewer was reading. It’s this one:

Ah, the light goes on. Jeff Rense, the most anti-semite of anti-semites. He is one of the most evil people that I know of, and his hatred of the Jews is immense. And, he is a master at twisting facts to fit his hatred.
If you listen to Jeff Rense, you will become an anti-semite.
Obviously, the Interviewer DID listen to Jeff Rense, and is on the road to antisemitism, and it makes me sick to think of that.
I’ve been interviewed on the show of the Interviewer, and on the show of the Interviewee. Both of them claim to be Christians, and I have no reason to doubt either of them. Neither do they have any specific reason or inclination to hate the Jews or Israel.
They are both ignorant of what is really going on in the Middle East, and that ignorance has allowed them to be duped into believing a body of lies – a body of lies that has been infecting Christianity. And, that infection has turned into an epidemic.
It is truly a ‘false delusion’.
I know the facts. I KNOW what went on in World War I and World War II. I know the facts about the creation of the State of Israel. And, I know how Jeff is twisting these facts to fit his own vile agenda. Even I am not immune to his twisting, so I won’t listen to him. And Jeff Rense is but one of many Satanic influences that seek to corrupt your soul against what God is doing.

I am sickened by this growing hatred of the Jews and Israel, and the numbers of people joining this Satanic cause is exploding. Just look at the comment section of articles. People are blaming the Jews FOR EVERYTHING.
And, these anti-semites CLAIM to be Christian.
What a filthy blasphemy against Christ. To claim to be a Christian and to do such evil is nothing but Satanic blasphemy. And, I will have no part with such evil. And, this year will see a huge rise in this wave of evil.

God will deal with these Satanists. Make sure that you aren’t in the blast zone.
