Israel and the Coming of Catastrophe

I stand amazed at the speed with which tyranny grows and the ignorance that has allowed it to prosper. We abandoned clear thought and sound ideas for the dubious illusions of our ‘advanced’ civilization. We will reap the reward for that all too soon, because yes, there is a God, and He is not amused by our foolishness.

God is even less amused by our willingness to condemn the innocent and forget the truth.

God left us with carefully worded messages that lay out the future and His plans, but we no longer read the Bible. So, we can no longer see what is coming.

Israel and the Coming of Catastrophe

I just finished my second edit of the most important chapter in Ezekiel’s Fire:

Ezekiel’s Fire – Chapter 2

That chapter lays out a detailed analysis of what the Bible says about the horrifyingly near future.

Finding Truth Is Hard

The Bible was never meant to be an ‘easy read’. If you want the truth, you need to look for it. Truth is an arduous, labor-intensive task. Not because it is hard to see, but because we have so many illusions to overcome.

Please remember that every chapter and verse in both the Old and New Testaments is connected with other chapters and verses. It lays out an amazing web of truth that demonstrates the fantastic brilliance of our Creator.

However, the Bible also provides an opportunity for those who seek delusion and petty falsehoods. As someone once said:

The Bible is like a person. You can make it say anything, if you torture it enough.

Well, God says the same thing through the prophet Isaiah:

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Isaiah 28:9-13

God is saying that learning the truth will always be a challenge. But, if you love God and have the Holy Spirit, that challenge will not be too great for you.You will see the inter-connectedness of the Bible. You will see how the truth fits together perfectly. You will understand what God is doing and what He wants you to do.

If you do not love God… well …you will not see the picture laid out by the Bible, and you will be caught and destroyed by your own desire to believe in a lie.

You Must Understand Israel

So, if you want to see what the Bible says about what will happen AFTER the financial collapse that has already begun, read this:

Ezekiel’s Fire – Chapter Two

Of course, you will not accept the truth of those prophecies, if you do not see God’s intention to save the children of Israel. To put it another way:

You cannot see the future, if you cannot see Israel.

Israel is a specific key, to a specific lock, to a specific door that must be opened if you wish to see what is coming. And, if you cannot see what is coming… well …you’re chances of survival become very slim indeed.

But, I rest in the fact that God is good, and He wants to save the ignorant – if they love Him.

Luke 21:24

In any discussion of The Last Days, the best place to start is with Jesus. And, He talked about the time that we live in now, here:

Matthew 24

Luke 21

Mark 13

I tend to focus on Matthew 24 because it completely destroys any illusions that you might have about the Pretribulation Rapture Lie. However, Luke 21 speaks about something that Matthew 24 leaves out:

The first signpost of the Last Days

I hope that made you sit up and pay attention, because that signpost has been an important part of my life. You can find that signpost here:

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Luke 21:24

That verse may not seem like much… that is …until you realize that it describes a period of time that is one thousand, eight hundred and ninety seven years long. That verse began in February of year 70, and ended on June 7th, 1967. That’s why I often say that Luke 21:24 is one of the longest verses in the Bible. But, its length is less important than its significance.

The Signpost For The Last Days

You see, Jesus did not stop at verse 24. He went on to describe other key events of the Last Days. Please think for a moment about how important that is.

These are the words of Jesus!

Furthermore, they lay out the most important signposts and events of the Last Days.

What was the first signpost for the Last Days?

That signpost was planted in the ground 48 years ago. And, Jesus added a profound statement to His discussion of the Last Days, with these two verses:

So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

Luke 21:31-32

This means that we are 48 years into ‘This Generation’, which doesn’t leave very much time before the very end arrives.

Why I Concentrate On Ezekiel’s Fire

I hope that this concentrates your mind, because it certainly concentrates mine.

As quickly as disaster seems to be approaching, you need to know that what we see now cannot compare with what is coming afterwards – and very, very quickly. The financial disaster that rushes towards us will bring unimaginable tyranny. And, that will quickly set the stage for Ezekiel’s Fire.

Which is why I have reduced my writing for Omega Shock.

The evil that lies in our future is unimaginable. It will shake the world and terrify everyone – except for those who have put their trust in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Without Jesus, you will not stand in the days ahead.

And, without an understanding of Israel’s place in these events, you will be unprepared to deal with what is coming. Jerusalem lies in the eye of the storm. For a reason that I do not completely understand, that city is the geographical center for everything that is coming.

Do Not Persecute The Jews

Furthermore, that city has been given by God to the Jews, and God has something to say about the Jews that should make you pay attention. You can see it in the 30th chapter of Jeremiah:

For I am with thee, saith Jehovah, to save thee: for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have scattered thee, but I will not make a full end of thee; but I will correct thee in measure, and will in no wise leave thee unpunished.

Jeremiah 30:11

Everywhere that the Jews have been scattered to…

…will be destroyed.

Let’s skip the next four verses (12 to 15) that talk about God’s affliction of Israel, because verses 16 and 17 clarify what was said in verse 11:

Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that despoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey. For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith Jehovah; because they have called thee an outcast, saying, It is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

Jeremiah 30:16-17

Those two verses tell us that:

  • All those that devoured the Jews will be devoured
  • All the adversaries of the Jews will go into captivity
  • Those that plundered the Jews will be plundered
  • Those that preyed upon the Jews will be preyed upon

And, for those of you who have claimed that Jerusalem is nothing, and of no importance:

  • The Christians who ignored Israel and the Jews will be ashamed and stand condemned by God.

I hope that this makes you understand how dangerous it is to persecute the Jewish people. In fact, to be safe, I would think that you’d want to be very careful in how you criticize the Jews. Yes, the Jews and Judaism deserve some criticism, but only some.

I am here to tell you that the vast majority of the criticism leveled at Israel and the Jewish people is false. In fact, it is worse than false accusation. It is slander.

Yes – God Saves The Awful

It is true that the Jews reject Christ. This means that they are in thrall to Satan. But, that should not surprise you. After all…

…we were all slaves to Satan, before we were saved.

So, when people point out all the awful words from the Jews, about Christ… well …maybe I should point out all the awful words YOU said, before you were saved.

In fact, here’s a truly wonderful example of how a truly awful man could become an amazing follower of Christ:

Why I Am a Christian (David Wood X-Atheist)

YouTube shortlink:

It stands as an amazing testimony of the power of God. If God can take David Wood and turn him into something wonderful, God can certainly save the Jews and make them followers of Jesus Christ.

Do Not Join Satan

I’ve been actively fighting antisemitism in Christianity for almost 20 years. Please do not join that wave of darkness that sweeps through our churches.

If you join in the false condemnation of Israel, you have joined Satan in his attack on God’s work. God is at work in Israel, and it is a truly dangerous thing to stand against it.

Furthermore, as Christians, we should never be a part of condemning the innocent. And, I am a witness to how false the accusations against Israel are. I’ve seen and experienced the evil designs of Islam against the people of Israel and the plan of God. I’ve seen, felt and heard the bombings. Friends have had lives destroyed. Innocent men, women and children were killed and maimed.

Just because they live.

God brought the children of Israel to the Land of Israel. This is the hand of God, and because of that, the Muslims want them dead.

It is true that Judaism is a false religion, but at least they value life – even the lives of those who hate them.

The Muslims?

They value death.

It horrifies me to see Christians participate in the persecution of the innocent. One day, all who have engaged in such unjust persecution will stand before a just God and answer for this great evil.

If you  have been attacking Israel, now is the time to repent. If you don’t, I guarantee that judgment lies in your future. In fact, let me take a few moments to point out what is coming, over the next few months.

Here’s a bit more about the Greek debacle:

Assessing the Risk of a Greek Default

That article from contains a fascinating presentation of the significance of the financial crisis in Greece.

There is also this video:

Unfortunately, that is not the only bad news. Take a look at this:

Add that to the news about Greece, and… well …hope for a rosy future is kaput. The economy has collapsed, right when the banks are about to do the same.

I truly hope that you’ll be ready for this
