WEEKEND SHOCKCAST: Our Sin Runs Through It

As I look back on this week, I see a theme that runs through it – our sinfulness. We have made compromises on the truth. We have compromised our morality. And, we have chosen pastors who do the same.

And, when that happens, God sends strong delusions among us:

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12

The word for ‘damned’ is the Greek word, krithosin – or, should be judged. And, THAT is what is happening right now. We are being judged by God.

We have been given a strong delusion, and we will not be free of that delusion if we do not choose the truth – and, if we enjoy the unrighteousness of others. We will not be freed from our normalcy bias. We will continue to be lied to by the CIA’s Operation Mockingbird Mainstream Media. We will be subject to the evils of our intelligence services. We will have pastors who are silent on the truth. And, we will suffer plague after plague like Ebola.

We and our churches will be subjected to all of that, as long as we tolerate sin in our lives and sin in our churches.

WEEKEND SHOCKCAST: Our Sin Runs Through It

I talked about all of that this week, so let’s get to it.

The Articles That You Will Find in This WEEKEND SHOCKCAST

MONDAY – Chipping Away at the Normalcy Bias

Chipping Away at the Normalcy Bias

Getting people to wake up to what is really happening is an amazing challenge. I’ve been trying to do that, in one form or another, for almost twenty years. However, even I did not truly begin to understand what was going on until God shook me awake in 2011.

So, when I see someone else stuck firmly in a normalcy bias. All that I really can do is offer a few bits of incontrovertible evidence and a prayer that God will do what He did to me – shake ‘em awake.

Unfortunately, this means that God will need to knock the other person down, which is a really hard process to go through. So, you’ll need to stick around to help pick up the pieces.

TUESDAY – The CIA at the Heart of Your Normalcy Bias

The CIA at the Heart of Your Normalcy Bias

The Central Intelligence Agencyor, CIA – is one of the most evil organizations on the planet. Not everyone in the CIA is evil. In fact, at the lowest levels, there are a lot of good people working for that foul organization. But, the organization itself is without a shred of morality, and owes allegiance to the only god they know – power.

I didn’t always think like that. But, that was before I saw the dark evil at the heart of the CIA – and their operations against the American people. And, those operations are part of why it is so hard to chip away at the normalcy bias that I talked about yesterday.

WEDNESDAY – How the CIA Became Evil

How the CIA Became Evil

As I said yesterday, I didn’t always see the CIA as evil. In fact, I usually thought of it as a pretty cool organization. But, that was before the evidence started piling up that there was something dreadfully wrong with them.

Unfortunately, part of the problem lies in the basic fact of how such organizations are created and organized. Such organizations are ALWAYS going to become evil, if they aren’t managed properly. In fact, I’m not even sure that it was ever possible to set up and manage the CIA properly.

But, worrying over what-might-have-beens ultimately doesn’t solve the problem that lies at our door.

THURSDAY – The Silence is Deafening – by Sheila Zilinsky

The Silence is Deafening – by Sheila Zilinsky

When I start an article, I don’t always know how it will end, and yesterday was a prime example of that. I started out by talking about how the CIA became evil, and ended up talking about why everything is a mess:

Our Sin

We have sinned against God. So, God has turned us over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh (1 Corinthians 5:5).

We have chosen pastors that will scratch our itching ears (2 Timothy 4:3). And, our pastors have chosen the way of cowardice, instead of truth.

Well, I received an article from Sheila Zilinsky that speaks directly to that subject, and she gave me permission to share it with you.

FRIDAY – Ebola – Next Wave, Incoming

Ebola – Next Wave, Incoming

We’ve had a pause in the Ebola infection rate, and everyone has breathed a sigh of relief and gone back to what they were doing.

It’s a nice feeling, right?

Of course, it’s too bad that feelings don’t matter, because pandemics come in waves, and each successive wave gets bigger and bigger – until it burns out.

However, burn-out only happens when enough people have died, so that there aren’t any more hosts for the pandemic to infect.

Do you want to wait around for ‘burn-out’ to happen?

Right. You aren’t insane.

Unfortunately, the rest of the world isn’t so lucky.

  1. compromising the truth..
I heard a statement yesterday from one of those mainstream mega church leaders on homosexuality, he said it’s a sin (ok) and but their leadership is discussing it..(discussing what?..it’s maybe not sin?) but here was the catch for me, he said “we don’t wish to be ostracized by a world that needs Christ”.
I thought-what a sign that they’ve fallen down the stairs and have become all busted up..nobody seeks to be ostracized or not ostracized, just like nobody seeks to be reviled or not reviled, refused by the worldly or excepted..who does that? nobody, people in Christ seek to follow the led of the Spirit and do as led of Christ..being cast out or heard is not the aim, but doing as led of God.

The world will ostracize as it will, or not. You can share the most simple thing with all grace like when some guy say’s-what are you doing after work and you answer-going home and reading the bible, and that guy can suddenly explode out of the blue and revile to no end and others will join him..it’s a spiritual push and snare their under. Seeking to be accepted by the world is a huge compromise, but nobody goes around seeking to be ostracized either, it’s an issue that never enters the equation, but following the Lord is the focus.

To say they seek not to be ostracized is to say their beholden to the world and the world comes first, a very bad thing, they fell down the stairs and are all busted up but the Lord say’s make straight paths for the feet that the limb that is lame might not be put completely out of joint..maybe some of them will recover from their fall and come away from such church’s.

  2. John,
You write lots of weird stuff. Where do you get your facts? I know it says on the site that you hate gloom and doom. Your usual article topics come from that realm. My solution to all this gloom and doom stuff is to quit dwelling on it. I am retired and live in Panama. I am focusing on gardening and food production. Not gloom and doom like you seem to be. I guess what I am doing is not as popular, but it sure is more relaxing than what you are doing, which is to focus on things you have no control over. Say your prayers, grow a garden and relax. We have no control over the weird stuff you talk about. At any rate, have fun. Glen

    • Hi Glen,

I wish that I could take your advice.

Unfortunately, when you see people that you care about in danger, you are required to do the best that you can to help them see the danger that they are in. To do otherwise would be to show that you do not care.

Do you care about the danger that your brothers and sisters in Christ are in?

If you do care, then you need to do something about it – like I am.

If you don’t care… well …God will have something to say to you about that, when you see Him.

      Thank you, Glen.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little
