Surviving the Coming Genocide – The Story of God and Zvi

People ask me about how we will survive this genocide that is coming. The elites plan to murder 86% of the world’s population, and it will take a miracle for any of us to survive. But, I know where miracles are found, and I know the One who makes them.

Yes, it will cost you your life, but that’s okay – because He will give you a new one.

Better yet, I have a story of a miracle – of a little boy that God brought through unimaginable trial and tribulation. It’s a story of a miracle that helped build the Body of Christ in Israel.

Surviving the Coming Genocide – The Story of God and Zvi

When you live in Israel, you tend to run into people who managed to escape Hitler’s grasp and plant the flag of the Jewish people in the Promised Land. There are fewer and fewer of them left alive these days, and as they die, so die the memories of what brought them through that awful time.

However, historians, writers and videographers have preserved much of their memory, and we can draw on them for inspiration, as we face yet another apocalyptic nightmare. My favorite example comes in the person of the father of my favorite pastor, Meno Kalisher.

Zvi Kalisher

Zvi was just ten years old, when he was forced to survive on his own. His story is one of staying just one step ahead of the Nazis, as he struggled to survive. But, God gave him a skill with languages, a determined spirit and the grace of God. Zvi wasn’t a follower of Christ, at that time, but God still had plans for him.

Eventually, he found himself in Haifa, Israel, on a divine appointment with an elderly Swiss woman, who gave him a New Testament. When he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, he finally felt himself complete – as he terms it, ‘a complete Jew’.

Then, God blessed him with a wife, and later – three sons and a daughter. All three of Zvi’s sons went into Christian ministry in Israel, and have truly blessed the Body of Christ in amazing ways.

The twinkle in Zvi’s eye has dimmed a bit, and his sense of humor isn’t as sharp as it once was. But, he still walks among us, and I hope that he will still be with us, when the Lord does the miracle that He promised in Ezekiel – when the hearts of the Jewish people will be opened, when they behold their Messiah who they had pierced almost two thousand years ago.

When that time comes, part of the story of Israel’s return to God, will have included the life of a little boy who ducked and dodged through the horrors of a Nazi Holocaust and the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

The price was high. Zvi lost his three brothers, his sister and his parents in that Holocaust. But, in Israel, he gained a wife, three sons and a daughter – and best of all, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. What God did for little Zvi, God can do for you – if it is His will.

Without Zvi, there would have been no Meno Kalisher and no Jerusalem Assembly. Yes, God is sovereign, and would have provided another father for a different pastor – for a different church in Jerusalem. But, that’s not how God wanted it. God wanted Zvi. And, He wanted Meno. And He wanted Jerusalem Assembly.

And, He wants you.

The question is, do you want Him?

Get Faith

I was going to write about the preparations that I believe are necessary, for the terrible times that lie ahead. But, I think that I’ll leave that for another time. The most important question is about you and God.

Do you really believe that Jesus is what the Bible says that He is?

If so, then please take the little time that we have left, to make that belief real. God protected a little boy, alone in the midst of unimaginable horror, so that this little boy could serve the Lord for the rest of his life.

Do you think that you will be able to survive what is coming WITHOUT God’s direct intervention?

You don’t stand a chance, and I don’t either, without God making the way through all this.

  • REPENT of your sins, turn back to God and ask His forgiveness.
  • TURN off the television and stop participating in in the evils of this world.
  • STOP living for yourself.
  • START living for God and your fellow believers in Christ.
  • READ your Bible – all of it. Make it the most important part of your day. Get through it in a year. It’s not hard.
  • SHARE the good news of Jesus Christ with everyone that you can.
  • ASK God for direction. He knows who you are. It’s long past time to join the plans that God has – instead of the ones that you’ve made for yourself.

If it’s going to take a miracle to get through this, then I recommend that you go to the one place where true miracles come from. But, you can’t get there, without faith.

Faith is the one thing that you need, more than anything else. It won’t take up space in your bug-out bag. It isn’t heavy. It’s free – if you’re willing to pay the price. And…

…you won’t survive without it.

I truly hope that you’ll be ready for this

  1. Hey this the same Zvi who has the column in the back of the magazine Israel Today? i think thats the name, i dont have a copy with me here at work. I love that column, 1st thing i read in the magazine when it comes in the mail. I love his stories of how God directs him to share the gospel with the Jewish people over there.

    • Hi Tim Moore,

That could be him. I know that he used to write such columns, for years and years. He really was a pioneer of the gospel in Israel. And, his son, Meno, is an amazing man of God who pastors Jerusalem Assembly, in southern Jerusalem.

I really consider that church to be our home, wherever my wife and I are in the world.

Zvi has certainly earned his crown, and I pray that we have a chance to stand with him, when this life is over.

      God bless you, Tim!

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  2. I have struggled with this my entire life but it is so obvious to me that what i was taught as a young boy in sunday school and church is in fact coming to pass and we live in the end days so i know things are going to get extremely bad but if we keep our trust in jesus we cannot lose. Thank you John and other great followers of Christ like steve Quayle who keep reminding me of what i forgot all these years.

  3. John,my brother in Christ,,,,thank you for sharing this story….we must take up our cross and follow Jesus… we must have FAITH and BELIEVE ,,,GOD BLESS

  4. John thank for this beautiful example of Gods compassion and lovingkindness. I find the more I know about the WHOLE word of God the more comfort I have for the coming days.None of this is a surprise to the Living God and He wants us prepared. You are spot on!

  5. I have prepared for the Great Tribulation that is coming.
I already believe in Our Lord, Jesus Christ, and he is my Saviour.
That is the most vital matter.

I am prepared to go through the terrible times, and will not take the mark of the beast.
I am prepared to die, with my faith in GOD and His Son, Jesus Christ.
I am prepared to live, and share the gospel of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

I have stocked on a little food for emergencies, maybe 1 or 2 months worth.
As is prudent, for any thinking person.

I believe GOD will be with me, through the hard times.
The Great Tribulation will be experienced by all, Christian or Not.

  6. Your job is not to preach ZIONISM/Phariseeism. Your job is THE GOSPEL of CHRIST whom the TALMUD calls the “Son of [Mary] the Whore” who deserves to boil in shit for all time.”

    Wake up

    • Hi Y,

      Let’s see…

Where is the ‘ZIONISM/Phariseeism’ in my article?

It sounds like you have a spiritual problem, and I don’t know whether you’re just a back-slidden Christian, or just-plain-not-saved.

      Why do I say that?

Because no Christian should hate anyone – especially not as much as you hate the Jews. So, such hatred is a sign of an eternal problem – especially when one speaks of sharing the Gospel, as I did.

Y, you must confess your sins and ask God to forgive you, before it is too late. And yes, you MUST accept the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ – or, there is no hope for you.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

      • John,

I haven’t commented in some time, but I must come to the defense of “Y”.

You seem to have a habit of responding to comments without reading them, or reading things into them that aren’t there.
Where do you get off telling “Y” that he needs to repent? You accuse him of hating Jews? Where does his comment say anything about his personal feelings toward Jews? It doesn’t. He is correct about what the Talmud has to say about our Lord. And, maybe you don’t realize that today’s Jews practice Talmudic Judaism, not the Law of Moses.

You’re so convinced that we are living in the Biblical end-times, that even when you read the Bible passages you use to support your belief, you ignore the plain-as-day time statements Jesus Himself used to tell His generation that those things would happen to them, not us.

I feel kind of bad for you because you are so invested in thinking we’re in the Biblical end-times that you can’t, or won’t, see what scripture actually is saying about the nature and timing of Christ’s parousia and the establishment of His Kingdom in the first century at the destruction of Old Covenant Israel and Jerusalem. Instead of dedicating yourself and website to confidently teaching error, you should take the time to really look into what I’m pointing out to you because you cannot refute it without twisting the text. I can point you in the right direction as far as sound teaching from a fulfilled view and I have no doubt you truly love the Lord as I do too.

        • Hi Steve,

I’m sorry that you felt the need to come to the defense of ‘Y’, because his comments were indefensible.

Worse, they indicate a true lack of understanding of what salvation is and what it means to be unsaved. For you to make the same mistake is very worrying.

If you don’t know what salvation is… if you don’t know that we were enemies of God and God’s people before we were saved… that we HATED God and God’s people before we were saved… I have to wonder if you are actually saved.

I know that your salvation is not mine to determine, but it IS important for me to point out that this ignorance is a very, VERY bad sign.

Yes, it is true that the Jews fear and hate us. But then, so do the Hindus, the Muslims, the Catholics, the Druids, the Satanists, the Homosexuals, the Hedonists, the… [fill in the blank].

If you eliminated all those who hate us, there would be no one to share the Gospel with. In fact, you would have to eliminate your own family, if they are still unsaved.

But, more than that, God has prophesied that He would bring the Jews back into relationship with Him. To resist that is to resist God.

Do you dare to resist God, Steve?

Do you dare to hate that which God has chosen to love?

If you do… well …I am forced to put a question mark over your eternal condition.

A true Christian does not do these things.

Steve, I fear that you have some painful soul-searching ahead of you.

          Yours in Christ,

          John Little

          • Wow John, you’re really into judging those with whom you disagree, huh? What in the world did your reply have to do with the message I posted? You should have just not posted my comment instead of editing out the bulk of it where I soundly refute your hermeneutic with proper exegesis. You still haven’t defended your faulty interpretations.

That’s cute how you removed ALL the scripture that demolishes your assumptions John. I’m sorry that the truth doesn’t fit your preconceived notions.

          • Hi Steve,

I’m sorry that you feel that way.

It certainly would have been easier to ignore your comments, rather than answer them. But, since part of this ministry is to shed the light of truth upon that which is error… well …I felt the need to give an answer to your basic premise.

However, that doesn’t mean that I allow this website is to be a sounding board for false teaching. Your ‘proper exegesis’ was faulty in the extreme and without merit.

Furthermore, your comment was extremely long, and I only allow comments of that length if they prove beneficial to the readers.

Steve, you have some serious soul-searching to do. You must repent, before it is too late.

            Yours in Christ,

            John Little

  7. Thank you John…I’m very thankful for your emails and the insights you share. May the Lord bless you each day and give you the wisdom, strength, protection and platform to reach all that need to hear!

    In Him

  8. Good insightful article and the warnings to repent now are sorely needed but in my experience seem to fall on deaf ears. By God’s grace He will bring the words back to the memories of those who reject the warnings. Let us pray that those dear ones will heed to warnings in time.

  9. That was exciting and wondrous John. It is amazing how our Almighty God can choose someone for a task and lead them and protect them. This is not to say that those who were killed were less thought of. We need to have an eternal perspective and after having done as much as we can, to leave the rest in the Lord’s hands. God is not bound by our short lives. Fear not those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. If we belong to Him, no matter what happens we are in great hands. We are sound and secure. Just make the best of the trip.

  10. Hi John,
Thank you for your great work ! I read everyday your site.

I am a pre trib Rapture believer for many Bible studied reasons, but a common sense reason that grabbed me by the neck lol was that Jesus is coming for His Bride and that is us. I do not believe that the Bride will be abused and damaged ( beat up ) .
What we are living through at this moment with our brothers in Iraq and Syria being horribly persecuted along with the entire Mideast and Africa is the beginning of the tribulation.
I pray for Jesus to come soon…..

    • Hi billg,

I understand why you would believe that Jesus would not allow His bride to be beaten up, but I believe that you see things this way because of a subtle prosperity doctrine that has crept into our churches.

Remember what Jesus said when He sent out His 70 disciples:

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.Luke 10:2-3

For two thousand years, we have gone out into the world and have been tortured and killed for the cause of Christ.

What is coming during the Tribulation will be no different.

Remember that the issue of the rapture is about TIMING.

Jesus said that it would be AFTER the Tribulation

Paul said that it would be AFTER the Antichrist.

Paul also said that it would be AFTER the Resurrection.

To claim that Jesus and Paul were wrong would be worse than outrageous. It would be a sin.

I’m sorry, Bill. I truly wish that I could agree with you. Life would certainly be better and more pleasant. But, believing in a lie isn’t the way of Christ.

Please, Bill, repent of this lie that you follow, and make sure that you never teach it. I do not want you to face the double condemnation of God that comes upon all those who teach falsehood.

On the contrary, I wish for you a double blessing.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  11. Here’s some more verses John. I’d like for you to tell me how, in light of these verses, the modern nation of Israel, and modern Jews, are anything other than lost humans that need Jesus just like everyone else. Just because they call themselves Jewish does not mean they are from the viewpoint of the LORD. And, just because the decisions of men put these people back into Palestine does not mean that it was the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

I can assure you that I’m not bringing this up because I harbor any ill will towards Jewish people. The reason I’m doing this is because what is being taught about modern Israel, and Jews, concerning Bible prophecy and prophetic significance, is wrong.

If you want to call this replacement theology go ahead. It isn’t. It’s God’s word, and I’d like for you to explain, from scripture – not with “so you’re saying” questions to me- how the modern nation of Israel are prophetically significant today.

You see John, Jesus came not only to die for the sins of the world, but also to judge apostate Israel and put an end forever to the Old Covenant rituals, animal sacrifices, and temple worship in Jerusalem. He also tore the veil that separated Gentiles from partaking in God’s promises to Abraham. Israel, as a physical nation separated to God for His purposes, ended when the New Covenant Kingdom of God was consummated at Christ’s second coming in 70 A.D.

All those passages I just gave you were fulfilled by and in 70 A.D.

    • Hi Steve,

I’m glad that you claim to bear no ill-will towards the Jews. You should bear no ill-will towards anyone.

But, you have chosen to delete and erase whole portions of the Bible – portions that speak of the days that we live in, right now. It’s almost as if you think that God is somehow different now… that He was a different God during Old Testament times.

God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

This means that promises made in the Old Testament still hold true, if they have not been fulfilled. And, a vast number of them have not been fulfilled, yet.

Are you going to claim that God does not fulfill His promises?

Now, here is how Israel will be saved:

Each and every Jew will individually accept Jesus as his/her Lord and Savior – just like we need to. It will be no different. God has also said that He will save many Egyptians during the Last Days, so THEY will be saved in the same way.

There will be no return to sacrifices. If there is a temple, it will not be a true temple.

I’m sorry Steve, but we are NOT in the Millennium – which is the only way that you can hold the views that you hold.

This error will do you much damage.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  12. John, I have followed Svi Kalisher for many years from his column in “Israel My Glory”. Probably since 1992. Yah will certainly say “well done” when he goes home.

  13. My fellow brothers and sisters… Now is the time to prepare…. 12-21-19…..the end of the 7 years… Get your families in order and prepare for the worst is right outside our doors!
