The Pre-Tribulation Rapture Lie – Part 5 – The Wrath of Satan

I spent the day answering comments because I wanted to get a sense of what people believed – and why. And, it appears that some are mixed up about what will happen during the Great Tribulation.

(Click HERE for Part Four) – | – (Click HERE for Part Six)

Did you know that what we normally call the Great Tribulation is actually in two distinct parts?

That’s right, the first part is the rule of the Antichrist and his great persecution of Christians. I call it the Great Persecution. And, this is what most people mean when they say Tribulation.

The second part is the Wrath of God, when He destroys the Antichrist and all who follow him.

So, why do proponents of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture Lie argue so vehemently against a post-tribulation Rapture?

Because they don’t want to suffer persecution.

The Pre-Tribulation Rapture Lie – Part 5 – The Wrath of Satan

I completely understand why no one would want to go through great persecution. A quick read of Foxe’s Book of Martyrs will show you what you do NOT want to experience. Unfortunately, what we want means little. Satan wants us dead, and you can bet that he’ll do everything he can to have us killed.

By the way, for those of you who would like to read the electronic version of Foxe’s Book of Martyrs, go here:

We’ve Gotten Soft

Unfortunately, we’ve lost our understanding of Satan. Life has gotten too comfortable. We haven’t seen real persecution in centuries. Prosperity has lulled us into a sense that all is as it should be – and will always be. But, I’ve been showing you that it’s just not true.

What we have experienced is an aberration. It is NOT a normal thing for God’s people to go so long without persecution, yet… here we are.

Did you honestly think that we would NOT be going back to the bad old days of Roman Catholic persecution?

Millions died under the vile hand of the Vatican, and her hand is ready, yet again, to persecute Christians – but, this time, in service of the Antichrist, himself.

Please get this into your head. It’s from the Bible:

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.2 Timothy 3:12

Think of the last three hundred years as a holiday from Satan’s persecution.

The Tribulation Is NOT God’s Wrath

If you want proof that the Tribulation is NOT God’s wrath, just listen to what Pastor Steven Anderson says in this short video:

Proof that the Tribulation is NOT God’s Wrath

YouTube shortlink:

The Tribulation In A Nutshell

That was a great snippet of proof from Pastor Anderson. But, let’s take a look at another ‘snippet’ from Revelation. Revelation 12 gives us an overview of The Tribulation:

And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:13-17

If you REALLY want to know what the Tribulation is… That’s IT.

THAT is the Tribulation in a nutshell. It’s the war that the dragon makes upon those that have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Where Does The Woman Escape To?

Do I know where the woman will fly to, to escape the Antichrist?

I have no idea. I wish that I did, because then I could tell everyone to go there. That place of refuge from the Antichrist will only appear at the right time. In fact, the war and destruction that is coming soon, might be what creates it. I don’t know.

The problem is that, if you don’t pay attention, any hope that you have of joining ‘The Woman’ in her flight to the wilderness will be closed to you – if you do not wake up. I’m not sure how we can join in this ‘flight’, but I would like you to try.

Maybe there will be other ‘wildernesses’ for us to escape to?

The problem is that you will have no hope of escape if you do not first throw off the Pre-Tribulation Rapture Lie. I’ve already proven that it’s a lie.

Proof That The Pretrib Rapture Is A Lie

The proof is in part one of this series:

That article proved that the Pre-Tribulation Rapture is a lie. In that article, I showed that the following WILL and MUST happen before the Rapture:

  • The Antichrist must come before the Rapture
  • The Tribulation must come before the Rapture
  • The Lord Must descend from Heaven with a Shout before the Rapture
  • Jesus Must Return before the Rapture
  • The Resurrection must happen just before the Rapture (or, at the same time)

The scriptural evidence provided to back up those statements are completely and utterly obvious.

And, when you compare that evidence with the evidence coughed up by the pretribbers…

…well, there is really only one conclusion.

The Pre-Tribulation Rapture is a Lie, and it is so obvious, that it’s hard to understand why ANYONE believes in such nonsense.

We Must Grow Up

Everyone, you will not escape the persecution that is coming, by believing that it won’t come. That is the logic of children, and we are no longer children. Terrible times are coming, and we must embrace that fact, because it is the truth.

The truth can only set you free…

…if you accept it.

I truly hope that you’ll be ready for this

  1. I’ve been thinking about the “proofs” which mediate against a pre-trib rapture. You’ve certainly provided adequate Scriptural support within the confines of the site.

I always find myself returning to ancient Israel when considering this question. Ancient Israel was CERTAIN that because they were “God’s Chosen People” and inhabited land that He had given to them (dispossessing other people groups in the process), AND that because they were the sole possessors of His Word, they were effectively immune from His hand of discipline. To get a sense of ancient Israel’s confidence in their position, one only needs to read Isaiah and Jeremiah.

We can witness the very same attitude of Jewish people during the time of Jesus’s ministry. What – destroy the Temple, not one stone upon another?? You’ve got to be kidding! Outrageous! Even so….

With two blaring examples before us, one might hope the church would not be so foolish to think itself immune from Yehovah’s hand of discipline. The gospel of easy grace is to blame in large part for this egregious error. The easy grace gospel that thinks the church no longer needs to obey the covenantal laws of Sinai. Big Mistake.

So, here is the church, the entity which is charged with being salt and light to the world, the agency tasked with the dissemination of the gospel of Jesus Christ, thinking that the LORD GOD would not discipline a church so besmirched with corruption and sin that it cannot be distinguished from the world at large. Really??

The memorization of Scripture is decidedly critical, but so is the capacity to stand back and look at the “big picture” of the history the LORD GOD has given to us. Use some study tools such as comparison and contrast. Those who adhere to the pre-trib position may find themselves reconsidering.

And, it may help to remember that the LORD changes not, and that He is the same yesterday, today, and always. His discipline and ways are eternally consistent.

    • Hi bert,

Those are interesting points, and I certainly agree that we have gone blind to the idea that the church requires correction from God.

However, the sin of the church does not lie in her ignorance of the ‘covenantal laws’ at Sinai. The book of Galatians is pretty clear on this.

And yes. The Lord does not change, and so… we are not consumed. Amen.

      Thank you, Bert. Interesting comment.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  2. John, I think it will be up to us who know of the absolute sufficiency of our Lord to strengthen our brothers and sisters who are weak in this area; to be a testimony of the faithfulness of out God. Most in this generation do not know what it is to wrestle with God in prayer, and to wait with patience and endurance until the answer comes. I am still learning this process, but I have come to know the Lord in a greater way in my difficult circumstances. The modern day church knows almost nothing of humbling yourself under the mighty hand of God. The mentality is to “escape” – through entertainment, legal and illegal drugs, pornography, and feel-good preaching messages. The ultimate escape is the pre-trib lie.

We must be able to testify of the truth of God’s word when the real trouble comes. Most so-called Christians will despise us, but God will use us to reach those who can be
    reached, for His glory.

Please forgive me if I have commented too much on this subject, but like you, my heart aches for those in this deception – the word is a fire shut up in my bones that I cannot
    hold back.

  3. Thank you John,

I have been introducing fellow Christians to your website to show them the Pretrib lie, you do such a great job at explaining it that it has been helping many of my brethren to wake up to the truth!

I don’t know if you noticed, but now they are coming out with another pretrib movie based on the LEFT BEHIND book series , this time Hollywood is backing it and they have Nicolas cage playing the main guy!

as soon as I saw the info on the movie I knew that satan wants to keep us unprepared. Not having a strong footing in Jesus’s words will cause many to fall away .

When pretribbers look around at the world during the time of the antichrist they will reason to themselves that no one was raptured, so how can this be the antichrist ??

This isn’t the end times, their was no pre trib rapture, so I am not going to worry

This can easily lead to false teachers telling sheep that its ok to take this new Egoogle tattoo that will allow you to buy and sell. Don’t worry its not the mark of the beast because the pre trib rapture never happened

Do you really think God would keep babies and children in this world when the antichrist is around ??

Many excuses will be made in order for people to take the mark of the beast which the Anti Christ and his demons will sell as the greatest form of technology in history, and the Main Lie they will use is the pre trib lie !!!

Thank you John for helping me to get myself onto a solid foundation of God’s word and his Truth, I will need it during the upcoming persecution.

    God Bless you Brother

  4. I have done much study of scripture……I used to be mid trib rapture…..but after many hours of study I am pre trib rapture.

Also in my research I came across a few pastors who are much more studied than I and they are also pre trib.

Perry Stone would be my best source and he said he spent 27000 hrs studying against pre trib but after all these hours he came to the conclusion that the Rapture will be pre trib.

I believe we are all better served when the word opinion is used rather then lie. So I have a pre trib opinion and so does Perry Stone.

Thanks for all your good work. Bill G

    • Hi billg,

I truly wish that I could be more subtle in my approach to the Pre-Tribulaton Rapture Lie. In fact, I HAVE been more subtle in the past.

But, the problem is that this might be the last chance that I have to address this issue. I honestly do not think that we have very much time left.

Do you think that death and destruction are worth getting a little in-your-face?

I think so. Depending on where you are, and what your preparations are, you will die in the near future. And, I want to save you and your family from that fate. But, I can’t help you, if you refuse to listen.

      Are you prepared for disaster?

Most of the pretribbers that I talk to aren’t, because they think that God will rescue them at the last minute.

I am literally begging everyone to get ready. Are you ready, Bill?

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

    • Perry Stone is only a man, and man can be deceived. We can be serious and be seriously wrong. The Bible DOES NOT support a pre-trib rapture. JESUS is only coming one more time. Revelation 11:15-19 tells us that he will come at the 7th trumpet. And remember He will raise them up on the Last Day. There is NO escape route…Many people are deceived.

  5. have many friends who believe pretribber fallacy, a fairy tale for adults. They’ve just been deceived, but they are still brothers/sisters. nice clip from pastor Anderson!! In the full version on Ytube, he discussed how he shared this presentation with various pastors in America who preach the false pre-tribber rapture. Result? A number of them ADMITTED privately to him that he is correct. But they cannot publicly come out and denounce the ‘pre-tribber’ view or else they will be out of the club so-to-speak (viewed as heretic; politically incorrect). Maybe it would be helpful for some at this point to remember a few things about truth:

    • The Bible (NOT the pulpit) is the source of the truths of God! – unknown
    • When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic. — Dresden James
    • All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed, second, it is violently opposed, and third, it is accepted as self-evident. – Arthur Schopenhauer (German philosopher) 1788 – 1860

    • America has become an illusion just like Hollywood. There is a way back from the illusion and that way is called truth. Truth is more powerful…and that is why great efforts are made to suppress the truth. The power of truth does not lie in destruction… truth always brings creation and life…in all creation…and the world itself was created by truth… you will learn what it means when it was said, “you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” This truth and light are not mystical, but reflect another holographic project from the Source all truth. – Paul McGuire

    • Because it is sometimes so unbelievable, the truth escapes becoming known. – Heraclitus
    • Tis strange but true, for truth is always stranger than fiction. – Lord Byron
    • There is nothing as powerful as truth, but often nothing as strange. – Daniel Webster
    • Sincerity is clearly a test of truth. False. Many people have been sincerely wrong about many things. –John Ankerberg
    • Certainty is the same thing as truth. False. Many people have been certain of their beliefs (e.g., certain doctrines), but this does not make them true…Truth is something that is in accordance with fact.

    • You can avoid truth, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding truth. – Ayn Rand (paraphrase)

    • …when truth was removed from schools , churches , court houses , and all mass media, then hope was removed. There is no hope to be free without truth. My Savior said, ‘you will know the truth and the truth will make you free.’ Remember the world hated truth so much they nailed to a cross , thinking they would silence it , but instead the truth just got louder through His Spirit that abides in all those that believe in Christ. – unknown

    • The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it. – George Orwell

    • Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. – Proverbs 27:6 (NKJV) i.e., A friend is someone you can trust. They care about your interests, that they are not harmed. A friend is not afraid to tell you the truth about certain things, but an enemy deceives you. Truth is telling it like it is. To love someone is to tell them the truth. Dishonesty is not telling it like it is.
A friend may give faithful wounds. They sometimes hurts your feelings at the risk of the relationship. A friend shows true love (caring for the needs of others; caring about eternal life. Love is not a feeling. Feelings change. Love is about doing what’s in person’s best interest- their needs and welfare).

    • He who hates, disguises it with his lips, And lays up deceit within himself; When he speaks kindly, do not believe him, For there are seven abominations in his heart;…A lying tongue hates those who are crushed by it, And a flattering mouth works ruin. – Proverbs 26:24-28

  7. I totally agree with what you have to say! Except, the Catholic Church. I don’t think the Pope is a bad guy. The Catholic Church may go through a time in the future when the truly faithful will have to go underground and there maybe a time when the secular culture causes a schism in the church, but for now we have a Godly Pope. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit. He helped free a woman from persecution in a Muslim country. His book, The JOY of the Gospel, has no heresy that I am aware of. Please read his book and tell me where he is not walking and living the Gospel. They are right to life, give to the poor. Yes, they have corruption, but they also have over a billion people. The church admits it was wrong to have persecuted and they have had vile Popes in the past, but they are a human institution. website Catholic101 on the Great Whore of Revelation explains it well.

  8. People are spoiled, therefore the pre-trib rapture is false. That is a non-sequitur, a conclusion that doesn’t logically follow from a premise.
Your emotional appeal is the hook to soften up the audience, but it is underhanded, as it takes advantage of those with low critical thinking skills.

Anderson, in the video, cites Matthew 29 without reading the previous verses. Verse 29 is referring to what happens at 2nd Coming, “sun shall be darkened.”
Verse 30 “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man… and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds….” That is Christ’s 2nd Coming after “the tribulation of those days.”
Anderson equates Rev 6 eclipses (which is beginning or early in the tribulation) to the one at 2nd Coming, but Christ’s 2nd Coming is not until Chapter 19. The period between is the Great Tribulation, not to be confused with tribulations that are characteristic of life for many Christians in this world, past and present.

Like trumpet calls, celestial phenomenon can happen more than once. Gen 1:14 “…let them be for signs…”. Plural = multiple.
Also, Matthew 27:51 describes an earthquake at Christ’s crucifixion. The Bible references earthquakes that aren’t that one. Zechariah 14:4 tells of the mountain splitting (earthquake?) when his feet touch Mt. Olive at 2nd Coming. Clearly that is different from the one at the crucifixion.

But I suppose the connection Anderson makes is necessary to convince us we don’t understand the word “tribulation.”

    • Hi lifelong learner,

So, you are accusing me of dishonesty?

I find it strange that you would do so. You certainly have nothing to back up such a personal attack. The fact that you have resorted to such tactics speaks volumes.

It is obvious that you have NOT chosen to read my article, and cherry-picked a ‘straw man’ reason to attack my evidence. I did NOT offer the reluctance of people to enter the tribulation as a reason for why the pretrib rapture is false.

The fact that you would pick that one bit of information tells me that you are not interested in a truthful discourse.

I have offered clear and decisive proof that the pre-tribulation rapture THEORY is a lie. Jesus said it. And, Paul said it.

Prove that what they said is a lie.

Second, you do not understand the Book of Revelation. It is NOT in strict chonological order. That is why chapter 6 and 19 can refer to the same thing.

As an example, Do you honestly think that Chapter 12 follows after 11 in Revelation? Or that 13 follows chronologically from 12?

LL, your choice of a lie, over the truth is a sin. You must repent.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

      • JL, my comments are not an attack on you, only a challenge to your views. I need not prove my view here as mine are similar to those of Grider, whose website is a link on Omega Shock.
Thank you for giving me more information in my year long study of the post-tribulation rapture view…
I am prepared to face the consequences of being wrong, should that be the case. And it’s all good for you, if you are proven wrong in the near future. So you can afford to enjoy your shock-jock rhetoric, Hell-bent on stealing others’ Blessed Hope (Titus 2:13). You haven’t stolen mine.

  9. Basically what you are saying is get ready to die a horrible death. If that is what God wants for us, so be it. Once the mark of the beast is enforced, there will be no choice for a born again believer but to refuse it and be killed. There will be no believers alive to be caught up when Jesus returns. There will only be a resurrection when he comes back to destroy the armies of the beast. I realize that tbose who are resurrected at that time will rule with Jesus for 1000 years, but who makes up the armies of heaven riding horses behind Jesus? How does 1 Corinthians 15 : 51-52 and 1 Thessalonians 4 : 16-18 get fulfilled in this post-trib scenario?

    • Hi Kevin,

I just told you. Here is the verse again:

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. – Revelation 12:14

      THEY survive.

      Are there others that survive?

      I don’t know, but I hope so.

As for who the armies are, you’re asking about how we’ll join to meet the Lord in the air. I just know that we will.

Why do you need an explanation?

Kevin, we take the word of God on faith.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

      • John, you have misinterpreted Revelation 12:14 in saying that is speaking of the church being moved to a safe place. That passage of scripture is talking about the remnant of Israel being protected by God from the beast. The only thing we read about the saints in Revelation is that they are beheaded for refusing to worship the image of the beast and refusing the mark of the beast. So, either the rapture happens before the mark of the beast, or the entire church is killed for refusing the mark. Those same saints are resurrected in Revelation 20, and will rule and reign with Christ for 1000 years.

        • Hi Kevin,

I did not say that ALL would be moved to a safe place, just those who were a part of ‘the woman’.

I mean, you surely aren’t denying Revelation 12, right?

It clearly states that the woman with 12 stars is protected in the wilderness.

Kevin, the Bible does not disagree with itself. If you see disagreement, it means there is something wrong with what you believe.

          Yours in Christ,

          John Little

          • John,
I would never deny the accuracy and authority of the scriptures. Revelation 12 is about the woman giving birth to Jesus, and the woman is obviously Israel. The woman is not the church! Look at the following passage from Revelation 12:
            Revelation 12:5-6 KJV

And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

This is clearly speaking of the remnant of Israel that will be fed and protected by God for 1260 days.

          • Hi Kevin,

So, what about verse 14. You side-stepped that. So, here it is:

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. – Revelation 12:14

That is NOT the 1260 days. So, what is it?

            Yours in Christ,

            John Little

    • Kevin,
2 Corinthians 5:8 when we are absent from the body we are present with the Lord.
How is it possible to be present with the Lord when our body is in the ground?
When we die our body goes into the ground like a seed but our soul and spirit go on to be with the Lord waiting to get our glorified incorruptible body at Christ Second coming (1 Thess. 4:13-17 & 1 Corin. 15:51-52, Matt 24:31, Rev 20:4)
1 Corinthians 15:35-55 explains that when we die our body goes into the ground like a seed when Jesus comes back at the second coming we also come with Him in the spirit dressed in linen white and clean coming back to receive our glorified body (Rev 19:14, Jude 1:14-15).
1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 explain those few that are alive and remain at Jesus’ Second coming will be transformed after those that are asleep in the ground have been raised or resurrected up first. Together both those alive and those asleep are transformed into the glorified bodies at Christ’ second coming. Flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God we must all be changed.
      Hope this helps

  10. John,
Glad I stumbled across your article. I agree that the pre-trib rapture is a lie, most likely planted intentionally by agents of Satan to deceive Christians. It took me a while to shed this belief after watching the Left Behind movie around age 10…I’m 29 now and in the US Army. My only disagreement is on the interpretation of the overall timeline of Revelation. The best exposition on this book I have read to date is by Herman Hoeksema entitled “Behold He Cometh!” What he says, and I agree, is that we are currently living in the millennium now and the “desert” the woman (church) flees to is a spiritual one. This makes sense when one considers the refuge we have in Christ–“nothing can separate us from the love…”–regardless of our physical circumstances. Thanks for your faithfulness in shedding light on this difficult subject.

    • Hi Luke,

Thank you for your kind words.

Unfortunately, I cannot agree that we are in the Millennium now. That just doesn’t fit with scripture.

I understand how and why people believe it, but it just doesn’t work. The math doesn’t work, and the circumstances just don’t fit.

Thank you, Luke. And, thank you for your service.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  11. Hello John
I agree with you on most of your views on end-time. Not all, but most. Post tribulation rapture is definitely a Biblical truth.
Another proof that tribulation and wrath are different is found in Matthew 24:29-31 and Revelaton 6:12-17, The order of events as gleaned from these scriptures is (1) tribulation (2) heavenly signs (sun darkened, moon turns red, stars fall) (3) catching away (4) the great day of His wrath.

  12. Thank you for pointing out the short video with Pastor Anderson. This led me to the entire documentary and then to the other documentary they did about Bible versions. Have been considering these various things before you had brought them up. I am now fully convinced that most “Christians” will not be saved. I can only try to reach those within my sphere and attempt them to stop believing in others interpretation of Scripture and start reading it for themselves to see how far astray they have been led.

  13. For anyone still struggling with pretribulation being a lie here are some of many many verses.

John 6:39 All the Father has given me, I will raise them up at the LAST DAY
John 6:40 Everyone who see and believes in me I will raise them up at the LAST DAY
John 6:44 Whoever is drawn by the Father to the Son will be raised up at the LAST DAY
John 6:54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood, I will raise them up at the LAST DAY

The bible says WHOEVER and ALL that: believe in Jesus, who were drawn by God the Father, and take part in communion, that is EVERYONE who believes in Christ will be raised up at the LAST DAY!
We can not be raised up before tribulation and at the end of tribulation at the LAST DAY?
The bible is very clear, whoever believes in Jesus, is drawn by the Father, and takes part in communion will be raised up at the LAST DAY

Don’t believe the pretribulation lie. Pray for those whose eyes have not yet been opened!

  14. John 11:21-24 Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that God will give you whatever you ask.”Jesus told her, “Your brother will rise again.” “Yes,” Martha said, “he will rise when EVERYONE else rises, at the last day.”

Even Martha understood everyone rises at the LAST DAY.

Jesus did not correct her and say no your brother will rise in a pretribulation rapture. Scripture is clear! There are not two stages to His coming the words used are “Everyone” (who are in Jesus) will be raised at the last day!

  15. Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of your people: and there shall be a time of trouble, SUCH AS NEVER WAS since there was a nation even to that same time (unequaled distress like never before remember Matthew 24:21): and at that time your people shall be delivered, EVERYONE that shall be found written in the book. Multitudes who sleep in the earth will awake!

If you are found in the Lamb’s Book of Life you will be delivered AFTER a time of trouble AS NEVER WAS since there was a nation.

Doesn’t sound like pretribulation to me

  16. Matthew 13:24-30 and Matthew 13:36-43 Parable of the Weeds
when are the believers harvested? Matthew 13:39 at the END OF THE AGE. Confirmed in Revelation 14:14-20

Matthew 13:47-49 Parable of the Net when are the good fish collected? Matthew 13:49 at the END OF THE AGE. Confirmed in Revelation 14:14-20

Revelation 14:14-16 The harvest is at the END OF THE AGE .

1 Corinthians 1:7-8 Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will keep you strong TO THE END so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ RETURNS.

  17. Last one

Matthew 24:13 He who endures till the beginning of tribulation will be saved

Is this what the bible says?????? Not at all!

He who ENDURES TO THE END will be saved.

Stand firm till the end so that you will be found worthy so that you may hear those words “well done good and faithful servant”. Amen and Amen

P.S. Sorry JL about bombing your site with all these replys

  18. I am with you on this John Little, and find myself in the same place you seem to be as well. Great part of it all is that every day is a good day in the Lord, and He knows how to deliver His children, in His time, not mans! Praise the Lord!

  19. JOHN: Hi, very informative site. Best I’ve seen in awhile and I have many websites that I read everyday. This one has my attention. So happy that you DO NOT believe the pretrib lie. One of the very first things I want to know when reading a new site is what is their stand on the Rapture.
It looks like when you boil it all down that the Rapture and the Second Coming are the very same event. They happen at the same time.
Also I believe that GOD will allow Satan to have a part in all of the tribulation. I think that the first part of it will be Satan’s wrath (Seal and Trumpet judgments), and then at the end of the trumpets JESUS will appear. But, that may not be right. I can’t imagine anyone making it through the bowl judgments. I thought that because the Church is not appointed to the wrath of GOD, that JESUS would come just prior to those last judgments and take out the church, and then the bowl/vial judgments would be poured onto the earth on all of the unrepentant sinners…Now, meaning that we would all be here for Satan’s wrath, but we would be removed before GOD’s wrath on the sinners. How does this play into scripture. Thanks, and bless you for the terrific website.

    • Hi wandakate,

Determining exactly WHEN the Rapture happens in Revelation is difficult. And, I maintain that it isn’t absolutely necessary, since we won’t have any control over it, anyway.

As I am sure that you understand, we live each day that the Lord has given us and trust that His deliverance will happen at the right time and place for each of us.

Thank you, Wanda. I really appreciate your kind words.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  20. Ya gotta ask yourself what truth do you follow, Scripture or speculation. Sure that last trumpet spoken of in 1 Cor. 15:51,52 could be speaking of a particular feast time. However, the support to show that is grounded in speculation.
Those who follow the pretrib doctrine tell us that to suggest that the last trumpet is the 7th trumpet is also speculation. If that is the case then there would be no more supporting Scriptures, but that is not the case. There are several.
To begin Paul tells us a mystery that the Rapture happens at the last trumpet… 1 Cor. 15:51,52. Prior to the 7th trumpet, the angel declares to John that at the 7the trumpet the mystery of God is finished…Rev. 10:7. So at this point we have the only two verses in the Scripture that speak of a trumpet and a mystery, but that could only be coincidence, Right?
Jesus informs us that when He comes that His reward is with Him… Rev. 22:12. We are further told that He rewards everyone according to their work, good or bad. So we are here by made to understand that the rapture and the time of being rewarded are simultaneous. At the 7th trumpet several things are recorded to happen. Jesus rules and reigns forevermore, God judges the dead, and the righteous are rewarded…. Rev. 11:15-18. So if Jesus rewards when He comes as we are told in Rev. 22:12 and the reward is given out at the 7th trumpet as we are told in Rev. 11:18, then Jesus comes at the 7th trumpet.
But the Scriptural support doesn’t end there. There is more. Of course, if you do not like the Word of God, then there is plenty of man’s speculation available to accommodate you.
In the context of the angel speaking to John about the 7th trumpet in Rev. 10:7-11, John is told to eat the little book. This little book has a message that enables John to “prophesy again” (see verse 11).
The message surrounding the 7th trumpet shows a lot of closure and finished work. The angel swears that “time is no more” (Rev.10:6 KJV). Jesus rules and reigns forevermore…Rev. 11:15. The dead and the righteous are rewarded or judged….Rev. 11:18. The mystery of God is finished… Rev. 10:7. All of these events show a finished work. In other words the end of time as the angel declared. The angel also declares a dual prophesy… Rev. 10:11, “you will prophesy again…” The fact is that if Jesus rules and reigns at this point on, the devil, or beast cannot ruling and creating havoc after that. Therefore, the havoc that is recorded after this time must be a second prophesy, as the angel declared in Rev. 10:11.
Therefore we are to understand that the prophesy of the 7 trumpets that is just concluded in Rev. 11 and the prophesy of 7 bowls or vials are one in the same event… “you will prophesy again…” Rev. 10:11. Let’s take a look…
At the 2nd and 3rd trumpet and bowl the seas made fowl.
At the 4th trumpet and bowl the sun is effected, trumpet experience darkness, while bowl get scorched by the sun… (Possible pole shift of the Earth. The bible records the sun standing still in the OT, the Earth is not flat, one side is dark while the other is full of light)
At the 5th trumpet and bowl there is from the pit of darkness evil that causes severe pain.
At the 6th trumpet and bowl, Euphrates river mentioned which causes a great war and loss of lives.
The seventh trumpet and bowl is the rapture…
—trumpet 1 Cor. 15:51,52, “at the last trumpet, a trumpet will sound…” Rev. 10:6,7, 11:15-18,22:12,
—bowl.. Rev. 16:15, “.Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.” This is recorded right before the 7th bowl. WOW, Jesus is STILL coming! The pretrib doctrine believes this verse is misplaced… hmm.
Paul declares it at the last trumpet. Jesus declares it at the last bowl, and the angel tells John that there is a dual prophesy. The bowls and trumpets show the likeness of the dual prophesy.
So here we see that there are multiple Scriptures to show that the last trumpet and the 7th trumpet are one in the same. There is no support, other than speculation to suggest otherwise.

  21. To answer the question “Do I know where the woman will fly to, to escape the Antichrist?” one should go to for the answer. At this point, I have heard the statement twice that the “women, Israel” will flee to the “mountain-desert area of western Jordan”. The Jews that flee, during the abomination of desolation, to western Jordan will encounter LORD JESUS there, “And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends” – Zechariah 13:6. The first time that I have heard the statement about where the “women, Israel” will flee to is on the Christian program “End of the Age” with Irvin Baxter. It is very obvious that those that are going to flee during the abomination of desolation are going to be the same people living on the earth during the millennial reign of our blessed LORD JESUS CHRIST.

And Yes, the Pre-Tribulation Rapture is a lie.
