Chinese Irony

Living in Taipei, you’d think that I would talk about China more than I do. And, it’s true that I certainly have more experience with the Chinese than most. I’ve taught Chinese students, and my wife is Chinese by culture and Taiwanese by birth. I also like the Chinese. They’re full of interesting contradictions and foibles.
