The Rise of Christian Anti-Zionism

As a teenager, I was fascinated by World War II. What an incredible battle between good and evil. The stories of bravery and determination were amazing. And, the tank battles were awesome.

I was really into tank battles, and am still pretty much into them. My first real board game was Panzerblitz by Avalon Hill – which simulated mechanized combat between Russia and Germany. My brother and I spent hours setting up and playing that game, and I think that it was that game and Squad Leader that helped propel my brother into becoming an officer in the US Army.

I also read first-person accounts of combat in World War II. Fly for your Life, Company Commander, and War in a Stringbag were just a few of the books that I devoured. Then, I made the mistake of reading history books, and stumbled across the Holocaust.

To this day, I cannot watch a movie about the Holocaust. I just can’t. The horror and the evil of what I uncovered will stay fresh in my mind until the day that I die. But, like I said, I was interested in tank battles…

One day, I thought about looking into tank battles that happened after WWII, and I discovered Israel and the Six Day War – and the Yom Kippur War of 1973. At the same time, Mom was reading Raquela: A Woman of Israel and loaned it to me when she was done.

That book was my ‘tipping point’. From then on, I was fascinated by the saga of Israel. What an incredible story of a tiny nation surviving against all odds. And, as I delved deeper into the causes of the Arab-Israeli conflict, I realized that I had stumbled across something incredibly fascinating.

On a completely separate track, my interest in Bible prophecy was gathering apace. The idea of the Last Days was a completely awe-inspiring challenge. And, trying to make sense of it all… Well, it became yet another focus of my life.

All of that led to a life in Israel and a website called

That’s how I became Pro-Zionism.

But, I find that Christians across the world have become Anti-Zionism.

The Rise of Christian Anti-Zionism

On April 5, 2011, I was shocked out of my gourd by what Iran was planning. I had predicted what they were doing almost four years before, but it’s one thing to predict something… it is something else to see it actually happen. It was all happening faster than I had imagined, and I realized that there was much that I did not know.

My ‘mad scramble’ for knowledge resulted in this website and a deep concern for you, my brothers and sisters in Christ. That concern has deepened as I see many of you turn against Israel.

Early on in my new career as a freelance doomster, I was delighted to stumble across a Christian broadcaster who didn’t have his head in the sand. He knew what was coming for America, and he was doing his best to combat it. He ranted. He raved. He pounded the table. He was awesome.

He also interviewed some pretty awesome guests that helped boost my research efforts into figuring out what was really going on. I even gave as much financial help as I could to his ministry. But, I started to notice something in his dialogue. It was becoming clearer and clearer to me that he was anti-Israel.

He was using virulently anti-Israel sources of information. He would back pro-Israel guests into a corner. And, when I indicated to him my concerns, he would always try to placate me but never reveal what was going on.

Then, one day, I got an email from him that contained four disturbing statements:

  • John, I’m not anti-Israel.  I am anti-Zionism.  Big difference.
  • God doesn’t want their land – He desires their souls.
  • By the way, what would happen to you if you stood in Jerusalem’s streets at mid-day and read aloud Stephen’s exact words as in Acts 6 and 7?  Hope  you’ll be wearing a helmet to protect your heads from the rocks.
  • Nothing has changed in 2000 years.

When I repeatedly asked for clarification, he refused to respond.

If you are anti-Zionism, you ARE anti-Israel. Furthermore, you are also against the plan of God. Ezekiel 36 clearly indicates that God LOVES THE LAND of Israel and has a plan for the Jewish people on that land.

And yes, I have watched Christians stand up in the center of Jerusalem and give Stephen’s message at mid-day. And, they did not have rocks thrown at them.

And yes, something HAS changed in 2000 years, and my foolish brother in Christ missed it.

Worse, as I look around me, I see more and more Christians following the same path. They have become caught by the propaganda of our enemy. I was so upset by this, that I wrote an article about it in four parts:

The Illuminati Are Not Zionist, Part 1

The Illuminati Are Not Zionist, Part 2

The Illuminati Are Not Zionist, Part 3

The Illuminati Are Not Zionist, Part 4

If you proclaim yourself to be ‘Anti-Zionism’, you have:

  • Proclaimed yourself to be against God’s plan (Ezekiel 36)
  • Blinded yourself to what is happening in the near future (Ezekiel 38-39)
  • Resisted God
  • Allied yourself with Satan’s plan to destroy Israel

It is clear to me that being ‘anti-zionism’ is rebellion against God, and the Lord has this to say about rebellion in I Samuel:

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.1 Samuel 15:23

There are no countries in the world that are just or righteous. But, I know from personal experience that Israel comes the closest. For you to be against this tiny country, and stand with her enemies… well, you are either a great fool or a truly wicked person. And, if you have been proclaiming your foolishness to others… well, there is a price to pay for that, and I feel sorry for you. Truly, I do.

God will protect Israel and will bless those who support her. Those who are against her will suffer as God sends a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles.

I know Israel right-side up, upside down and inside out. I have a deep and intimate knowledge of the hows and whys of Israel. And, there are many things that I do not like about her, but I know of no other country in the world that deserves your support, more than Israel.

Yes, she is not saved and is caught in a web of great sin and wickedness. But, God said that after He brought the people of Israel back into the Land…

Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.Ezekiel 36:25

For those who do not understand the significance of this verse:

  • Do you understand that God will save Israel AFTER she returns to His land?
  • Do you even understand that you were filthy and in idolatry before you were saved?
  • Do you even know what salvation is?

I am horrified at the danger this ‘anti-zionism’ has placed our brothers and sisters. If you know anyone who is afflicted by this great evil, you must do everything that you can to rescue them.

Time is running out to wake up. The great alliance under Gog and Magog is forming.

Are you ready for this?

  1. yes it makes me angry and scared seeing my country ,move against Israel…as well as the rest of the world..but thats as it is supposed to be.But I ,stand with them, I support them.Surprising sometimes to see the stand others make against them.(also a BIG WWII fan myself,Dad was on Saipan,Tinian)

  2. John,
If you really thought about it, you would realize that the nation we know today as Israel is mostly the tribe of Judah and Levi, which occupied it anciently. The other “lost” 10 tribes of Israel can be found in Great Britain, America, and Australia. What other countries in the history of the world have been blessed as these? What other countries in the world are receiving the punishment for falling away from God’s word as these?
Remember, anciently there were TWO countries, Israel and Judah. They even went to war against each other. Try this: A Texan is an American, but an American isn’t necessarily a Texan. All Jews are Israeli, but all Israeli’s are not Jews.
Keep up the work. Your newsletter is the first thing I read each morning.

    • Hey John,

The question of where the ‘lost ten tribes’ are has always perplexed everyone. Like the Vikings, I suspect that the Lost Ten can be found pretty much everywhere. But, you offer some interesting thoughts.

I try to sidestep the whole issue by waiting for the Lord to show us who He’s talking about. We’ll see who’s standing when the dust settles.

Glad to have you as a reader, John.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  3. Thanks John, I knew you would deal with this eventually. Just waiting for the comments to begin. Allow me me to posit a possible explanation. I’m an american evangelical christian….I am asleep….I wake up….the world is not as I thought it was….I re-examine all my previously held beliefs….Hallelujah, the bible becomes even more accurate…I’m left with a lot of questions about my own country (america) and Israel…I go on a bit of a bender….I get off the doom porn 24-7 and get back in the word….I return to a biblical understanding of Israel’s place in God’s plan….Thats my experience, thanks for your Christ centered navigation of the current state of affairs. Blessings, David

  4. Hello John,

This was an excellent article. Sometimes people confuse the actions of a government with the citizens of a country. I tend to think Satan controls most governments from one degree to another. As a government becomes more totalitarian or authoritarian it becomes more dominated by demonic forces. Eventually the whole world will be under the totalitarian power of the man of sin…even Israel. Thank God ALL of Israel will be saved after Jesus returns. In the book, “The End of Money” by Adam Fergusson, he mentions that the Jews saved in gold and silver during the Weimar hyperinflation and therefore escaped the loss of wealth that the average German experienced and were hated and blamed by the Nazi’s. I often wonder if Christians will be hated for the same reason during the Great Tribulation.

    • Hey Michael Haller,

Interesting thought. Will the Christians be hated because they saw what was coming and bought gold and silver?

Very interesting question. Very interesting, indeed.

Unfortunately, I am not looking forward to seeing the answer. I like peace and comfort, but I rest in the thought that the Lord will be here when it’s all over. And, the salvation of Israel will be truly a glorious thing to see.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little
