The Shock Plan for Getting Ready – Putting It All Together

As I think about all that I have written in this series, I wonder if I have lost my mind. But, when I look out over the world and the insanity of everything that is happening, I am forced to agree with everything that I have written. Worse, there is much more to tell and write on this topic of preparation, but the author of that will need to be yourself. (Although, I will continue to write on this topic in the future.)

You MUST prepare for what is coming, but no one can really tell you everything that you need to do. That’s your job, and I hope that what I’ve written has given you a starting point to begin your own journey on the road to preparation. So, let’s take a moment to look over what I’ve talked about.

Subscribe to The Shock Letter and receive my articles in your inbox:

I started talking about this a week ago, Thursday. And, I began with the three things that you must have before you even start:

  • Personal Responsibility
  • Long term thinking
  • Jesus, Our Lord and Savior – the most important of all.

Without those three… you literally have no hope. Then, I launched into your first step:

Step 1 – Hold God Close

This verse encapsulates the point:

Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. – James 4:8

If you think that you can survive what’s coming without a close relationship with God, think again. Here is what Jesus said when His frightened disciples asked about how to survive the disasters that we see coming:

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.Luke 21:36

That’s why Luke 21:36 will always be the touchstone for this website. It is the single most important message you need for your survival.

For those of you who claim to know Jesus. I remind you that the demons know Jesus. There is a question that you MUST ask instead.

Does Jesus know YOU?

Step 2 – Location, Location, Location

Outside of your relationship with God, there is NOTHING more important than security. Without security, food and water will be meaningless. And, THAT means finding good neighbors and a secure community. You cannot do this alone. You cannot.

Read over the Step 2 article that is linked above. There are quite a few resources there and much to think about.

Are you in a safe place?

Step 3 – Food and Water

Our food and water distribution networks are appallingly fragile, and we have nothing to back those networks up. When the system fails, there is a high probability that you will be abruptly thrown back in time to the 19th century, where you ate what you grew and drank what you could find.

We don’t know how to do that, anymore. And, you MUST prepare for disruptions to the basic necessities of life.

And frankly, you really don’t have anything to lose, by making these preparations.

Do you have a secure access to water and food?

Step  4 – Money and Other Things of Value

After you have secured a safe place, purchased extra food and ensured a source of water… hopefully, you will have extra money. That’s a wonderful place to be, but now you have to keep from losing it.

After all, we ARE to be good stewards of what God has given us.

Furthermore, it’s hard to know what the future holds, and it’s important to have something of value that we can use to procure what we might need.

Whatever you do, do NOT keep your money in a bank or any other financial institution.

And, make sure that you have been giving a portion of your financial blessings to God. You cannot expect help from God, if you have withheld your money from Him.

Are your finances secure?

There are so many ways that our world could fall apart. But, that doesn’t mean that we ignore the most likely possibilities. In this section, I took you through:

  • Financial Collapse
  • EMP or Z-Class Solar Flare
  • Natural Disaster

And then, I went into the need to think this through and develop a plan. Mental preparation and a well-thought-out plan could mean the difference between life and death.

Do you have a plan?

It’s Personal

This is probably the hardest part of all. Your responsibilities and commitments may make it impossible to do everything that I have talked about. Or, maybe your health keeps you fixed in one place. You also might be suffering under crushing debt. But, there is still much that we can do, and there is hope.

We have a God, and He IS involved.

Are you still in the game?

In the End…

There will be times, as you go through the process of preparation when you think that you’ve gone insane. Everyone else will certainly think that you have. But, only a truly insane person sees trouble in the future and does nothing about it.

You are not insane. In fact, you are one of the most rational people on the planet. Do not let our insane world dissuade you from preparing.

And, while you do all that:

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. – Luke 21:36

As I say in almost all of my articles…

Are you ready for this?

May God bless you, and hold you close.

I pray for you all.

note – I am not offering financial or disaster preparation advice in a professional capacity. These are merely my own thoughts on what I would do in these situations.

If you find a flaw in my reasoning, have a question, or wish to add your own viewpoint, leave a comment. Your input is truly welcome.

  1. John,

My head this morning is Spinning with so many thoughts, points and counter points .. I guess its just the way I think. Let me throw out a few.

Strait is the Gate and “Narrow, ” is the path that leadeth onto life, and few their be that find it. (The narrow path between the ditches is sometimes a hard place to find.)

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all other things shall be added onto you. ( The very first scripture that over 30 years ago I memorized)

Trust in the Lord, with all thy heart, lean not upon your own understanding , acknowledge Him and He shall direct your Path. ( one of my life verses)

Store Not up your Treasures where rust and moths can corrupt and thieves break into steal. ( I have been literally robbed many times in the past.)

Money and as some call wealth is not meant for you to hoard. ( Todays Devotional)

Christmas Day 2006 very cold and windy at a desolate cemetery. (Journal entry)

We were all very sick last night with the flu but gathered our strength to bury Charlie in the frozen snow of northern Minnesota with his family, because they have no money.

He was 100 years old and had preached the gospel for 80 years of his life .. we all loved him dearly. He died with nothing and yet he had everything. Because whatever he was given .. he gladly gave away.

Love and laugh. Trust and Pray. Ride on now in a loving humility to victory. ( devotional reading)

Where do all these thoughts fit into …. the plan?

    God Bless you John,

    • Hi Israel Hanna,

That was a powerful and moving comment.

The ‘Shock Plan’ that I laid out is an outline. I mean for it to be something that will start people thinking about what God wants them to do, and the options that they have.

I believe that we have an obligation to God to try and be a blessing and not be a burden to others, if possible. If we do not do our best to fulfill that obligation, I feel that we are not doing as we should. However, only you and God can determine if you are doing your best. We all, at one time or another, are a burden to someone.

We also live under the constraints of God’s calling in our lives. That’s why no one can tell you what to do, exactly. We all must go to the Lord in faith, asking for His direction.

All that I am trying to do here, with my website and the preparedness guide that I just wrote is to fulfill the responsibility to warn others of what I see coming – and what they can do, if they are free to do it.

Another way of saying it is that all that we have, and all that we are, is for God and His service. Our responsibility is to act as good stewards. We place the outcome in God’s hands.

I often think of that picture of you and your family. I hope that, after the difficult days ahead, I’ll get to see another one just like it, full of that same joy and laughter – with everyone just a bit older. I envy the arrows in your quiver and earnestly hope for their protection.

      God bless you, brother.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

      • John,
if the bible is the word of God, why are there so many versions of it?
why do all christian religions have differing views ?
they all claim to be correct, so which ones are wrong?
if a rich man can’t go thru an eye of a needle where will that leave you?
if one is full of milk how can he eat meat?
(milk is swallowed easily, meat has to be chewed)
        was Jesus a wealthy man?
        who taught you the scriptures?
do you know the holy spirit ?
does the Lord communicate with you?
        are you jewish?
are you a material being ?
would you like to be a spiritual being?
John, i know whom you are
and i know your gods name.
i thank the Lord that i am not like you sir.
        captcha that ?

        • Hi Red Pill,

Well, there really is only the Hebrew Bible for the Old Testament, and the Greek Bible for the New. All others are mere translations.

Furthermore, we Christians don’t claim to be correct. We merely claim to have come as close as we can to the truth. Those who claim complete accuracy are usually frauds and charlatans.

It seems also that you accuse me of worshiping a God that is not your own. Since you level this accusation against me based on just the few pages of evidence found on this site… well, it leads me to agree with you. I do believe that the God I worship is not the god that you worship. The next question is which of us worships the Creator of Heaven and Earth.

Are you completely certain that you do not worship Lucifer?

I am truly sorry that you have found yourself on this path.

          Yours in Christ,

          John Little

PS. I cannot allow your second comment, since it violates my 300 word rule.

          • I believe Red Pill has experienced a hurt that has created doubt in his heart.
Tell me we have not ever been there—you know we all have been.
It is part of God’s plan; a test; AND, we always come back.

            Once saved, always saved.

        • Hi Red Pill,

A tree is known by it’s fruit. John’s “fruit” is obviously sown in Love. I’m not sure of what “tree” you are but I wouldn’t want to eat from it. Your soul seems to have been poisoned. I would beg you to search for Love. If you do, you will find it. Our God is faithful and true and He is Love. John is spot on regarding the issues of Life here and the hereafter. This world is not our home but only a fool doesn’t prepare for the storm on the horizon. We are instructed as such by our Word. Seek and ye shall find. Peace to you. You are not our enemy. Our enemy is in the spiritual realm.

          • Yes, he is correct and he has the right GOD, the truth. I wanted to tell JayJay that he is mistaken about always being saved. JESUS said plainly that our names can be blotted out of the book of life. That if we are lukewarm He will spew us out of His mouth ( have nothing to do with us ). Only the ones who persevere to the end will be saved. Once saved-always saved is not scriptural, it has no truth in it. It’s part of the feel-good gospel movement.

        • Hi Captcha this,
If you have not read and studied the Bible it is possible to be confused but the confusion usually is just The Denial of Christ.
The Bible is 66 books written over a period of 2000 years by over 40 authors on 3 different continents and in 3 different languages. But the Bible has a consistency or style that carries thru the ages and authors. One example of what I speak is the use of numbers throughout the texts. Google “youtube Chuck Missler Genesis”, this would be a good starting point for you. The Bible is not some scribblings by some old men but divinely inspired and the author GOD leaves striking evidence of HIS authorship and Mr Missler will show you and shock you. Thank you and SHALOM.

    • The king was shown in a vision that was interpreted by Joseph that there would be 7 years of plenty, followed by 7 years of famine. Joseph, through his understanding of how God works, saved an untold number of countrymen – including his own family members – because he listened to God and prepared for the coming famine.

The virgins were warned by Jesus to be vigilant, because the hour in which the groom returns, no one knows. And yet, several of the virgins squandered their oil. In the end, they missed the groom and were refused entry to the wedding banqueted.

There are countless examples in the bible where we are instructed to prepare for difficult times.

The way I see it… God speaks to us and we act in faith. And being faithful, even in our inadequacies, God takes up the slack. But God expects us to do our part.

Lets not be so heavenly minded that we are of no earthly good. God will not multiply the loaves and fish, if we haven’t the loaves and fish to start feeding the masses.

    • God directed Joseph to store food for what? God said that a man who does not provide for his own is worse than an infidel. The difference between the position that you ended with here and the apparent contradiction I raise for your consideration is: intent, where is the heart in relationship to God. The Scripture you quoted are not meant to be a commandment against the Scripture that I quoted. So, both are true.

    • God bless you, John, and thank you, Israel, for your beautiful reply. You both have truly touched on almost every thought and prayer of mine. We haven’t been seeking easy answers to some of life’s most challenging [and dangerous] questions; they have already been spoken of by Almighty God in His Word and through His Son, Jesus. But our minds, bodies and spirits all need to be freed from the powerful lies and deceptions that have corrupted this world through sin [I mean that in the very broadest term possible]. Without Christ, there is no Truth, Life or Salvation, only insanity and bondage. Praise be to our Lord Jesus. In His Love, Karen & Paul

  2. John,

I am in no way trying to judge or criticize your comments and suggestions. I have thoroughly appreciated our conversations John.

I am however trying to honestly sort though these things as God leads and at times they quite frankly seem overwhelming.

I like what Jerimiah says about these things in Jer:12-5, and often feel convicted or guilty when considering the message it presents.

“If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?” (KJV)

I am still looking forward to your call .. if you ever get some time.

Thanks again John for your faithfulness and time,
    God Bless,

    • Hi Israel Hanna,

Ooops. I may have come across as ‘touchy’. Sorry about that. I actually invite criticism and even judgment. The course of action that I am suggesting is very, very serious, and I would never wish for anyone to agree with me without some heavy thought.

I think that your reference to Jeremiah is appropriate. I believe that we live in a similar time, and we have likewise betrayed the covenant that God made with us. If our brothers and sisters in Christ had been willing to repent of their sins and turn back to God, our future would not be so bleak.

I am feeling better, so I hope to call you sometime this week.

      Thank you for your comments.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

    • Hi there, I understand what you are saying, and I have struggled with those things also. But, like someone else gave, the scripture of the 7 years of feast, and 7 years of famine. We know this is coming, so, I just prep a little, as I can afford. When I run out, I will have to trust God like I have never trusted him before. But, at least he can’t say that I didn’t try a little on my own. He did give us a brain, and expects us to use it. “consider the ant”! she stores away! I don’t really believe in spending thousands on prepping, as the government can come in and take it anyway. But, I can store a little away for natural disasters and such. After being through two tornadoes, and a huge flood in 2008, I am so very glad we had food and water in the house. We were cut off for 4 days, as the roads were washed away, and no way to get in! At that time, God didn’t rain down manna for us. We ate what we had here on hand…maybe if you look at it that way, it may make more sense! 🙂 Blessings in Jesus name. s

      • Hi suez62,

May God bless you, keep you and guide you through the difficult days ahead. I hope and pray that what you are able to do will be enough. If we all work together and support each other, we will get through this.

        Thank you, suez.

        Yours in Christ,

        John Little

        • I’m in my senior years; a retired single lady, with limited resources, but stock up food for lean times. I’d just like to know WHY we are being encouraged to try to survive something like a solar flare (which supposedly would kill millions). Survive for ‘what’? Rapture and Tribulation are almost upon us. Survivalists are pushing us to buy all kinds of things, ‘protect’ ourselves, go ‘off the grid’ etc. I can’t make my apartment secure from intruders who want to get in. Can’t hide food from being taken either. No place to bury precious metals, Why would we want to survive all those horrors? I might be missing something, so please enlighten me. Thanks for Godly wisdom in all postings.

          • Hi Irene Craig,

I believe that the goal of survival is to continue serving God. No other goal is legitimate.

So, all that I can say is for you to ask God to show you what He wants you to do, and do that – whatever it is. Of course, it starts with reading your Bible and actively praying to God.

Thank you, Irene. I pray that you will be well.

            Yours in Christ,

            John Little

  3. I have been up on most of this since the LORD spoke to my heart 6 years ago that this was the time. My point being, we are told to be ready and to hear the word of the LORD. We can prepare as best we can, ( at times an overwhelming task), but what is really neede is to draaw close to the only one who can save us, JESUS. He told us that some of us will go into captivity, and some of us will die, however, whether we live or die, he will be with us even unto the end of this present age. GOD bless and keep all who place their trust in HIM!

  4. The great deception is by self-styled prophets.

Jesus is Love, but Jesus People spread Fear.

Jesus was a rebel but Jesus People are Pharisees and sheep.

Intelligent Design came from highly advanced civilizations, but to Jesus People cosmic beings are demonic.

Organized religion is crumbling. All Jesus People are doing is selling each other survival gear, attending revivals, and denying all other belief systems.

I respect your right to worship, but not to coerce and deceive the unknowing.

    • Hi Adam,

It is true that Jesus is Love. But, the Bible also refers to Him as Yehovah Tzevaot, or the Lord of Armies. He is also the Judge of the Whole Earth.

Unfortunately, it appears that you do not believe in the Bible. Or if you do, you have chosen to pick out those parts that you like and discard the rest. This is very, VERY unfortunate, and I wish that you would reconsider this error.

Mankind did NOT come from the design of some highly advanced civilization. This is a lie, and the ‘cosmic beings’ that you look for are indeed demonic.

I pray that you will understand one day, before it is too late to repent of your sins and embrace Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

    • Adam it’s not coercion or deception just because you don’t want to believe it. Everyone has a religion, but being disorganized doesn’t earn one more credibility. The Early church was quite disorganized, that was the whole point to Paul’s epistles (most of the New Testament).

Credibility comes from real history, prophecy and prophecy fulfillment, text penned by 40+ men/women of different times and ethnic backgrounds over a ~1500 year period. A foretold Messiah that was raised after 3 days (no longer buried). This is the real deal, not new age alien gospels. Where did higher beings come from? Look up the book (free to read online) “Come sail away”.

    • Don’t take anyone’s word that Jesus IS the Son of the Living God, Creator of all the Heavens and the Earth. Ask HIM. He will tell you if you ask him earnestly and seek the truth. He is real….I took my own advice and He showed up in a mighty way. Thank you Jesus. I long to see you face to face and fall on my knees to worship you in the Kingdom of God.

  5. Thank you for not posting doom & gloom articles. It seems like that’s all there is out there. Why would anyone want to come to God if it’s all about fear & death.
I enjoy preparing for what’s ahead and have been ridiculed by my family for it. I use the example of Joseph’s story. Look how he even saved his family. People cherry pick scripture to get “their” point across and I personally don’t believe God gave us the Bible for us to use so we can justify our judging of one another. Everyone wants to be right. The only one who has it right is God. His ways are not our ways so we better just remember, The Lamb Wins in The End. Nothing else matters! Thanks again!

  6. All,
I am trying to find the error in John’s message on this subject. What is the objection to preparedness? What is the objection of prioritizing your life? He started with seeking God first, then moving to the physical that will sustain your family and other s in times of trial. I see no err in his advise, if you choose not to take it, that’s your freedom and liberty to do so, if you pray and choose to consider wisdom and knowledge offered by another then again that’s your freedom and liberty. My biggest struggle is one of the worst types of tyranny and that is tyranny in the body of Christ.

It. Strange we hold the patriarchs of the Old Testament as men of faith, Noah prepared a boat, he did not wait for God to build it, Joseph interpreted the dream and made a preparations to lay up grain for the famine which saved many, he did not wait for God to fill the grain silos, the virgins prepared oil to meet the bridegroom, etc…… Why when God gives Christian’s wisdom through His spirit do we say preparedness for trials are for the faithless. And then not only not act, but condemn, critize and accuse brothers and sisters of lacking faith…..that is Christian tyranny.

    • ***Why when God gives Christian’s wisdom through His spirit do we say preparedness for trials are for the faithless. And then not only not act, but condemn, critize (criticize)and accuse brothers and sisters of lacking faith…..

That is when you pull out this scripture:
I Timothy 5:8….Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

  7. Grace to you, and Peace, from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ! The Genesis story of Joseph gripped me in 2009. He was put in a position to prepare for hard times, and saved not only his family but an entire nation. Since I woke up and got on the “crazy train” (my son’s appellation) my wife and I have put aside close to a years worth of food for the gang, purchased a remote tract of land (which is doubling as a playground for grownups) and have moved our small investments out of paper and into metals, primarily brass, copper, and silver. Gold is out of reach. We also have made a concerted effort to increase our alms. Knowing many who rest believed the same, I think we are at the End. Even small changes could make life easier in the troubled times ahead. Maranatha!

  8. Sir,

I have often struggled with trying to understand how to square prepping with not storing up on earth, not worrying about what you’ll eat/wear….etc?

My family preps and we believe Jesus is our Savior. I feel prepping is right, but if I ask my preacher this question, he’ll look at me like I’m crazy.

I think of Noah—-he may have been the first prepper recorded. I think of Joseph storing up grain and saving thousands (including his family).

What scripture can you point me towards supporting our prepping life?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

    • Hi Steve Osmon,

First off… Thank God that you and your family are preparing. That is a joy to see.

To answer your question… that’s a tough one. Not preparing is like choosing not to breathe. It’s very strange.

Maybe you should ask your pastor if he thinks that bad times aren’t coming?

Then, ask him about the meaning of Luke 21:36. What does watching mean? What does it mean to escape? Why is escape necessary?

In verse 34, why should we be concerned about this day taking us ‘unawares’?

Please also remember that preparation was a way of life for everyone a hundred years ago. If your pastor has trouble with this, well… you might need to leave it alone. It’s hard to make people see things when they don’t want to. (I myself, have suffered from this problem, and still do.) If there’s a church in your area that understands these things, think about moving to that church.

My sincere hope is that you are living in a place that won’t turn to violence when things fall apart.

Keep up the good work, Steve.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

    • I Timothy 5:8….Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

You asked for it and there it is. Throw that at your preacher, church members, family members any time you need to.

  10. I find the different interpretations of the Bible by various Christian sects very confusing. The overall message from Jesus as I understand it is of love, forgiveness, selflessness and generosity which contrasts with the behaviour of many Christians, especially the powerful ones, over the centuries. Christian monarchs and Church leaders have been cruel, brutal, intolerant and lacking compassion – a similar attitude shown by many people today, including some Christians.

I have heard Christians say that the Bible is God’s word written down by man. But I believe it was compiled by the Church of Rome from writings over the centuries, to be the canonised version of the Church’s beliefs, and the compilers left out about 70% of available texts, mostly gnostic writings which would eschew priests and bishops. In the last century, a number of gospels have been discovered which were left out of the Bible, such as Thomas, Mary Magdalene and Peter.

I always wondered why Christians had their Sabbath on Sunday even though the seventh day was the day of rest – Saturday when the Jews have their Sabbath. Then I read how under Constantine there was a meeting between rival religions, and Christians reached a compromise with the followers of Sol Invictus (the sun god) whose holy day was Sunday.

I have read that the Cathars were devoted followers of Christ and behaved in a true Christian manner towards each other, yet they did not believe in the virgin birth or the resurrection. Apparently, they were massacred as heretics on the orders of the Church of Rome

Some Christian sects make specific rules of behaviour or predictions of events and dates based on lines in the Bible, for example Jehovah’s Witnesses forbid blood transfusions from their interpretation of a verse in the Bible. I think verses can be construed to indicate a variety of meanings, just as the predictions of Nostradamus can be applied in hindsight to key events.

    • Hi Stan Evans,

      I can understand your confusion.

Jesus said that the world would know who His disciples were – because of the love that they had for each other. (John 13:35) By that rule, most who call themselves Christian, are not. It’s a very, very sad thing.

As to the veracity of the Bible, I believe that it is an issue of faith. If you are interested in an accurate history of the Bible, Chris Pinto has an excellent video, here:

I think that you will find most of your answers there.

If you still have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I pray that the truth will find you, wherever you are.

Thank you for that comment, Stan.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

      • John,
I was just made aware of your site, and have signed up for your newsletter. After looking over things, I am delighted. So many “Christian” sites all proclaim their allegiance to “truth”, yet their sole purpose is to push a particular doctrinal viewpoint, or have an axe to grind, and they usually display a minimal amount of “Christian” virtues in the process. Plus, their readers and commenters are often either rude or ignorant.
I just recently retired. I have been saved for many, many years. It has also been years since I have set foot inside of a church. A typical burnout, but I do more Bible reading and study.
Anyway, I graduated from a conservative Christian institution’s Bible school many years ago, the type that taught the whole pre-trib rapture, dispensationalism…the whole nine yards.
It has been the shock of my life to find, at my age, how little “truth” there was in so much of the education I received….both secular and religious. To quote Paul Simon, from his song “Kodachrome”: “When I look back on all the crap I learned in high school…it’s a wonder that I can think at all!”
I have learned/unlearned so much thanks to people like Alex Jones, but it is easy to become very depressed with a steady diet of that type. So I am delighted to have found your site. Even in the process of delivering bad news, you seem to do it with grace and style, and it is greatly appreciated from the very start.
May the Lord bless you and use you mightily in His service in the days ahead.

        In Jesus’ name,

        • Hi Jim,

God bless you, brother. It’s good to see a fellow-traveler.

We have had to unlearn much. And, there may be stuff to ‘unlearn’ in the future, but God is good.

          Keep up the good work!

          Yours in Christ,

          John Little

  11. Hi I just found your site and I find my thoughts resonating with much of your words. I would not call myself Christian, I am not “pure” enough for tha label.

I believe the bible is a collection of writings of people in “tune” with god.
These writings were collected from the scribes. Edited together like you would do in preparing a reference book. Who were the ones that put the bible together? And after that, who said, “Ok that’s it, it is all put together and ready to share with the people.”?
At this time I’m assuming the ones in power, knew that they could influence and control the populace. Ok I am just saying some writings may have been translated and interpreted differently by the transcriber. Like the way a rumor can change as it’s recited around a room. I believe it’s mostly pure, but there is most definitely a touch of corruption. You think Satan wouldn’t do his best to corrupt God’s words as he does his children.
I know of and have read, the Nag Hammadi, Hermetica and other Dead Sea Scrolls. There is much similarity and continuity between them and the Bible.
So, I can’t go by that book 100%. It’s a very cryptic work also, so many metaphors, For example, in my opinion, when Eve ate of the apple, this was a metaphor for Satan planting his seed in her.
This was Satan’s “pissing in the gene pool”, where the corruption of man began. Eve became aware of the nature of good and evil through that deed.
Imagine Earth, “Eden”, a beautiful world. From the heavens comes demonic reptilian Satan, and the mixing of the dna begins. Us humans actually have remnants of a reptilian brain, in our occipital lobe.
I can only use the knowledge I currently possess to piece everything together. I believe “hell”, where the demons dwell, is a different dimension that is incorporeal or ethereal. I’m probably over 300 words, I’ll stop here.
    May Christ be with you.

    • Hi Chad Martin,

Thank you for that open and heartfelt comment. I really appreciate comments like this.

You say that you aren’t ‘pure enough’ for the label of ‘Christian’. I believe that this is true for all of us. Being a Christian starts with the recognition of our own inability to be righteous and pure. Once we realize that we have this problem of sin, we must go to the only one who can rescue us from that sin – and that is Jesus. Ask Him to save you, and He will.

But first, you must recognize your own sin and imperfection and repent of that, and ask God to forgive you. And, you must surrender your life to Him.

Do not wait to make sense of it all, you can only make ‘sense of it’, once you have the Holy Spirit to guide you. And, you can only receive the Holy Spirit through Jesus.

However, you may not feel that you can even get this far. You may feel that it is too much for you. If this is the case, ask God for help. Seriously, a true, from the heart, request for help will always be honored by God. He WILL help you, if you ask for it – from the heart.

God bless you, Chad. May God light your way as you seek Him.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

    • Chad, before Jesus died on the cross, he told his disciples who believed that Jesus is the Messiah, that he would send them the “Helper”, the Holy Spirit who would lead them to “All Truth”. It happened in Acts 2. The result is, the last thing the Holy Spirit would do is lead one to believe anything but the truth. The Holy Spirit illuminates ones mind to understand the scriptures. He also gives a person an assurance that he is saved to eternal life. In this current state we know that nothing we can do of ourselves will earn our way to eternal life. Jesus did it for us. He was “The Last Adam”, he became “The one New Man”. He was the first. When you believe, you become a “spiritual being” through the work of the Holy Spirit. God sees us through Jesus now, saved. To overcome the world is to believe in Christ.

  12. Hi,
Your website seems to have a lot of traffic and I was wondering if you have thought about using it to spread the gospel?

As you noted, the most important thing people must do, is accept our Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. This being so important, you could use your site to spread that Good News.

List verses, the Roman Road, if you will on your pages. Speak about it in your podcasts, etc.

You have the opportunity to reach so many lost people with hope.

    Think and pray on it.

    • Hi Scisme,

This is true, and it is very, very important. And, it’s our purpose on this Earth.

How do you know that I’m not doing this somewhere else? When I’m not writing these articles?

Please remember that we all have our calling. And, I’m afraid that this one is mine.

Have you thought about getting out there and sharing the ‘good news’ yourself?

Thank you for that admonition, Scisme. It’s always good to be reminded of what is important.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  13. The scriptures show that the Rapture of the church happens “under normal world conditions”, when all are going about their daily activities, in a “business as usual” manner.
In a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, the Jewish interpretation means “A realization” “a recognition”, which I believe means we realize it has happened, and we’re off the planet, possessing our glorified bodies, in the Father’s house, ready to stand before Christ at the Bema judgement. “To overcome the world” is to believe in Jesus Christ’s, be a true “orthodox bible” believer, and have the indwelling Holy Spirit, which is the power of the resurrection. The church, True believers, all those that have the indwelling holy spirit will be taken off this planet and to the Fathers house as promised by Jesus, the Messiah. True believers are not appointed for wrath. Persecution, yes, all believers have been persecuted in their lives for their faith in Christ at some point. If an Alien disclosure is the means that Satan will use to reveal himself, so be it. But, the scriptures state that the restrainer, which can only be the Holy Spirit, has to be taken out of the way before Antichrist can be revealed. I do not think we can be here for the Ezekiel prophecy, or when the Antichrist is revealed. I also do not believe that we can be here during an “Alien Disclosure” because true believers would never fall for it, and also , it would render the world anything but normal.

    • Hi Amy,

I really wish that we would be raptured away from all the trouble that is coming. Unfortunately, that is not what the Bible says.

Watch this video, and tell me if you can refute anything that they are saying here:

I have yet to find anyone who can refute anything in this video.

Please do not let the pretribulation rapture theory keep you from preparing for the catastrophic days ahead.

Thank you for that comment, Amy.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

      • Hi, John,
The Apostle Paul was commissioned by Jesus Christ to reveal “A mystery” that was not revealed in the Old Testament, now revealed to his holy apostles and N.T. prophets. The mystery is that Jewish and Gentile believers will make up one new entity; the body of Christ. “Fellow partakers of the promise”: there will be a generation of believers who will enter into eternity without passing through the gates of death. The 2nd coming is not a mystery, the Rapture is that mystery and is one of the reasons one must distinguish between the Rapture and the 2nd coming.

        • Hi Amy,

But, the Bible makes it clear that the Rapture will happen AFTER the tribulation of ‘those days’. Here is what Jesus said in Matthew 24:

But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send forth his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. – Matt 24:29-31

Can it be any clearer than that?

Please watch the video and tell me what’s wrong with it. There is only one thing that I can think of, and you might catch it – towards the end.

Please, PLEASE prepare for what is coming. Even if you wish to believe in the Pretribulation Rapture, prepare anyway.

Thank you for giving me a chance to talk about this, Amy.

          Yours in Christ,

          John Little

      • And last, John. Satan’s “miracles” are always 2nd rate. If there is an “Alien Disclosure”, it will be such a very obvious fraud (to believers), that we will know right away! Because if one is rooted in the word, knows their bible and has studied eschatology, they will not be fooled. Unbelievers will, because they are addicted to “feelings and experiences”. Also, in the bible, “The Elect” always refers to the Jews. Right now, the Jews are unbelievers in Christ. They practice a works religion as many other “christians”, but “to deceive if possible, even the Jews, “The Elect” (logical Jews) is not going to be easy. The tribulation is for unbelievers, period.

        • Hi Amy,

I’m not familiar with this interpretation that ‘the elect’ is always a reference to ‘the Jews’. However, I do know that all who are saved in Christ Jesus have been chosen before the foundation of the world. (Eph 1:4)

It is good to know that you have a love of the Jews, and have not been drawn down the road towards resisting God’s plan for the children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

          Yours in Christ,

          John Little

      • It is so sad that comprehension of the Bible is so difficult for so many. Part of the blame goes to false prophets the rest is from misinterpretations or following the doctrines of man. The only place a “Rapture” is mentioned in the Bible is “after the day of the Lord is come” which occurs “after the Tribulation of those days” The misinterpretation comes from when “the Woman goes into hiding in a safe place” Revelation 12:14
And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. (This is not the “Rapture” ) It is the saving of the Bride of Christ,”The Church,The Faithful Followers” Zephaniah 2:2-4
2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord’s anger come upon you.
3 Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger. Hid not “raptured”. In the wilderness not in Heaven. Most people stop looking for corroborating passages to “witness” the word. After the Tribulation comes the “Harvest”, after the coming of the Messiah,on The Day of The Lord, who comes as a judge.Matthew 13:30
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. We are The Winners, however the gameplan must play out ! The Big question is: Are you the Bride of Christ/Church ? Fully repented. Or will you have to try to make it to 1335 days with the Tares ETC. ? Partial repentance. And the last group never dies and therefore are never born again. No repentance. 1 Corinthians 3:18
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
        In His service

    • Amy,

God says his favorite place to live is on Earth, specifically Jerusalem, and that he will return here. Who will you be with off planet, if God is here? Also, even if we are to go to Father, the entire New Testament warns us that the False Christ will come first. So, if you are going off planet with the first Christ that comes, who are you really going with? Further, what is the point of wearing the gospel armor if we are going to miss the fight? Jeremiah was up to his neck in mud, and Father did send someone to get him out of there, but he did not fly away, he just got up and took a bath — and continued God’s work. The New World Order will take place, and you are not to traffic in it. Therefore, you must be a prepper so you can avoid partaking of the beast and its system. Be prepared not only for disaster, but for the false christ who comes first, peacefully and prosperously in the New World Order. This event is what we are to watch for and warn others. With Love,

  14. God Bless you, John. I know that you believe in Christ, and that you are only trying to warn others of what might be coming upon this world.

  15. Dear Little John ….. Your Christ like sensitivity and gentle response to responders who don’t agree, are note worthy. Your firm views on essential doctrines such as salvation and the reasons for Christ’s death and resurrection are solidly scriptural. While it is always prudent to be ready for short term outages and emergencies, …. storing up for the 7 year literal hell on earth, in which 2/3’s of the worlds population will die, (the 7 year Tribulation the Bible predicts) is unrealistically foolish, and I believe flies-in-the -face of many of Christ’s exhortations …. fear not …. be anxious for nothing, but by prayer and supplications make your requests known unto God, and trust in Him with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding! …. Can you imagine, …. Christ who is the bride-groom of the body of Christ, ….. beating up the bride for 7 years, just before the marriage supper of the Lamb in heaven?

You know John, I’ve been looking at your site from time to time when Steve Quayle had a link to your site. I wondered where you stood on the pretribulation rapture. I’m glad Amy spoke up in defense of the pretrib. doctrine. I’m glad you didn’t berate her, and you let her air her belief. I’m sure Steve and you are wonderful brothers in the Lord. What I have noticed about Christian persons who believe the body of Christ will have to experience the 7year Tribulation, is their emphasis on storing up food, guns, ammo and the like, in other words, they seem to be trusting more in their natural instincts, more than trusting in the Lord. To tell you the truth, I’ve been greatly tempted to go all-out and stock up. But I keep getting a check in my spirit. I’m thinking ….. do I trust more in my natural inclination or in the Lord who promised to never leave me or forsake me? ….. Just for the record …. The Lord Jesus revealed Himself to me 38 years ago, and I am now almost 80 years old and I am firmly convinced our KJV Bibles teach the Pretibulation Rapture! The Apostle Paul said after his teaching that believers will be raptured
1 Th 4:13-18…… he ends in verse 18, ‘Wherefore comfort one another with these words.’ I don’t see any comfort in, or any reference to, …. going through any 7 year Tribulation period.

    • Hi o’grady,

Thank you for your thoughtful comment.

Please understand that I do not ‘preach’ fear, only wise preparation. In fact, the preparation that I talk about is actually no more than what our great grandparents did each and every year. Having said that, isn’t the fear of the Lord the beginning of wisdom?

I believe that you have made an important mistake in your view of the Tribulation. I have noticed that most pretrib people talk about the Antichrist and what he does during The Great Tribulation, and that is entirely appropriate.

God never promised that He would protect us from persecution. In fact, He promised that it would happen.

As I have said to many, so I say to yourself: the dead in Christ must be raised first before the rapture.

You cannot get around that. You cannot – except to go outside the Bible.

And, here are the words of Jesus Himself, our Lord and Savior:

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. – Matthew 24:29-31

Do you disagree with our Lord?

What part of ‘After the Tribulation’ did you not understand?

Please, you must love the truth, and you cannot find the truth anywhere else than the Bible. Not our feelings. Not our own thoughts or presumptions. The Bible.

God is NOT pleased with the way that our brothers and sisters have been twisting His Words.

Thank you for your comment, o’grady.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  16. Dear John,
I just found your site through Steve Quayle and answered the Lord’s call in 2009, & have been studying the Bible daily since, praying and doing what the indwelling Holy Spirit directs. Thank you for all you are doing to be a watchman on the wall; as one myself it’s the toughest job I’ve ever loved. I just wanted to say when interpreting the Bible myself I pray for guidance and consider who the audience is that the writer is targeting. In Matthew Jesus was speaking specifically to the Jewish people. Next is context. I personally agree with Amy on the pre-trib Rapture; however we will see plenty of bad things leading up to it. Even though i believe we’ll be spared God’s wrath, we won’t be spared man’s.
    God bless you always John.
    Your brother in Christ Jesus,

  17. Hello John
Kind of off subject, but could you post the title \ date and publisher of the bible\bibles you study from? I would like to get copies and read them myself.

    Thank you
    God bless

  18. Hi JL, ….. o’grady here, 4/7/2014

You hinted that I lacked the proper fear of the Lord, …. didn’t love the truth and I was twisting the scriptures. To which I say, you are gravely mistaken brother. …. But, I forgive you.

Having received the Lord Jesus as my Savior years ago, I no longer have the kind of fear that the an unbeliever [should] have, ….. because of the eternal judgment that awaits every unrepentant sinner. For me, my judgment has been replaced with a [reverential fear], awe and love; and I can now cry Abba Father! It’s awesome to realize, that God’s Son died for me, so I wont be in that fearful White Throne Judgment crowd after the 1000 year reign of Christ on the earth!

There is a big difference between twisting His word and having wrong understanding of what is being taught in the scriptures. The word says in 2Pe 1:20 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any [private] interpretation.” Intentionally twisting scriptures is a various serious issue! There is a very stern warning given at the end of the Book of Revelation about adding to, or taking away from the word of God. The biggest “Christian” church in the world is guilty of this very thing, and there are many “Christian” cults that have sprung up since the late 1800’s that are guilty of twisting the scriptures. No one person, or group, has a corner on the truth, ….. Right? [added for emphases]

2Ti 3:13 ‘But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, [deceiving,] and being [deceived.]’
2Ti 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, [rightly] dividing the word of truth.’
2Pe 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable [wrest], as they do also the other scriptures, unto [their own destruction.]

I still take issue you on persecution vs judgment ….. The rapture and timing of the rapture …… Different parts of the resurrections …… Who the elect are. If you don’t mind having some more dialog?

    Regards, o’grady

    • Hi o’grady,

It was not my intention to hint that you lacked proper fear of the Lord – nor that you were intentionally twisting the scriptures. I know many brothers and sisters in Christ who are completely sincere and completely wrong.

Again, I notice that you were unable to answer my points, and I only offered two of them. Here they are again:

As I have said to many, so I say to yourself: the dead in Christ must be raised first before the rapture. (1 Thess 4:16)

And, here are the words of Jesus Himself, our Lord and Savior:

Immediately after the tribulation of those days… …they shall gather together his elect from the four winds (the rapture) – Matthew 24:29-31

Do you disagree with our Lord?

What part of ‘After the Tribulation’ did you not understand?

You cannot love the truth and disagree with the Bible like this.

If you wish to please God, you MUST love the truth.

I have offered you just two verses among a host of verses that PROVE that the rapture CANNOT come before the Tribulation.

      Will you choose the truth?

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  19. Dear John,
After reading what you wrote regarding the elect Jesus refers to in Matthew 24, may I suggest He was possibly speaking of post rapture believers? Those who came to Christ after the rapture but aren’t indwelt by the Holy Spirit like the Church? Other times in the Bible the Israelites are referred to as the elect and the Church or the Body of Christ are called saints. I’m only suggesting this because i believe the Rapture isn’t as important as eternal salvation. Nowhere in the Bible does it say you must believe in the rapture to go (just be worthy); but you must believe in the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and what He accomplished at the cross forgiving ALL sin; that you’re a sinner in need of a Savior and repent to receive the gift of eternal life. Also why is the Church not mentioned after Revelation 4 until Revelation 19 at the wedding supper of the Lamb? Thank you again my brother in Christ!!!
    En Agape,

    • Hi danman,

You are absolutely correct. There are many dear brothers and sisters in Christ who believe in a pre/mid/posttribulation rapture, and that has no bearing on their salvation. Whatever your eschatology, you are still a good brother (or sister) if you have placed your faith solely on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The point that I am making is that we must not allow our eschatology keep us from preparing for what is coming. We can argue eschatology on the other side of this coming catastrophe.

Please understand that what is coming now is NOT the Great Tribulation! So, you MUST prepare.

Now, as to your point about a second rapture of believers… the problem is that you cannot find a reference to such an event anywhere in the Bible. According to the Bible, there are only two resurrections: the resurrection of the just and then the resurrection of the unjust.

Thank you for the comment, danman!

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

    • Repent AND be baptized everyone of you for the remission of sin and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38. John 3:3-8 ye must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. Please read. It’s God’s Word. And it’s truth. You have to be born again of the water and the Spirit to enter the kingdom of God (verse 5). It really doesn’t matter when the rapture is if we’re not ready when it happens. Love in Christ

  20. Dear John,
You are right too about preparing, but it may be different kinds of preparation for each believer as the Holy Spirit directs them. Some people I know were directed to move to a new home or a farm, some were directed to stay in place etc. I’m sorry for my lack of clarity about a second resurrection of believers because that’s not what I meant or believe. My point of reference to Revelation was simply regarding the timing of the Rapture, because the church isn’t mentioned between when the seal judgments begin until after bowl judgments are completed (being kept from God’s wrath during the tribulation). The angel who carries the message of the Gospel to the world in Revelation chapter 14:6-8 would imply there isn’t a church anymore to accomplish this because that’s what we are commissioned to do during the church age on earth. As you and I both agree, salvation is most important and we should each prepare as we are directed while spreading the Gospel in the short time left while trusting completely in Jesus Christ and expecting His imminent return. God bless you and all the body of Christ brother John. Keep looking up and i hope and pray to see you soon!!! Maranatha!!

    • Hi danman,

Thank you for that input. Good points.

You are right that this preparation plan is only a rough guide. Each person will have specific circumstances that will require different answers. God and the direction of the Holy Spirit is always the first stop. Everything else is secondary. (Although, still important.)

And, thank you for keeping a proper perspective, danman. We’ll be better prepared to argue eschatology once we get past what’s rolling down on us.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  21. Thank you for your insightful messages. I have only read a few of your posts (along with the comments which follow). It is so refreshing to see that you are advocating the Lord’s clear statements about what must take place in the final 7 years of this present age before Jesus Christ returns. I have been reading Daniel and Revelation all my Christian life (which is about 36 years now), and I have never been able to reconcile the claims of the pretrib Christians with the actual words of Jesus, Daniel, John, Paul, etc. I have been berated many times just for daring to say that I could possibly understand the clear language of the Scripture on my own, when so many Bible teachers cling to the errant eschatology of the pre or mid trib escape clause. I have always maintained that if the Lord tarries, we will all simply see it unfold together, and if the Lord does not call me home first, I shall be here aiding the faithful to the best of my ability while never judging them for their unpreparedness or saying I told you so. I have always believed that the biggest danger of the pretrib hypothesis is that it prevents the believer from being able to acknowledge when the man of sin is revealed and issues the mark of the beast order, that his new system is indeed the “Mark” which no one must ever take. I hear repeatedly that “as long as we are here, it can’t be the mark.” The other danger of escapism (my term) is that it puts one in danger of being deceived by what will be incredible and irrefutable “signs and wonders” to be performed by the false Elijah (false prophet-pope?). Times of grave deception are already here, but it will get ever so much worse. If one does not this day receive a “love of the truth,” the danger of becoming reprobate in one’s thinking is a very real thing indeed. If one’s mind can no longer discern between truth and error (after becoming reprobate), how can one hope to prevent being deceived by Antichrist? After all, Anti doesn’t mean ‘against’ so much as ‘in place of.’ Antichrist will indeed be satanic, and the true believer will surely know this, but the pretribber who is still here may have a hard time keeping himself from being deceived. The Church of Philadelphia is the only one who may have a guaranteed ‘out’ so to speak; but that out (of being kept from that great hour of deception) may simply mean that we will be guaranteed NOT to be deceived by the signs and wonders. When we keep Jesus’s Word (protect it and guard it as well as obey it), we are also to be kept from that hour that will come upon all who dwell on the face of the earth. Every human being dwells here, we will all face it. I have asked the Lord to tell me what will become of me personally during the times ahead, many times. Each time, the answer He provided via several different passages of Scripture has been, “I am not going to tell you; simply trust and obey.” If I am destined for martyrdom as the Church of Smyrna, than a martyr I shall be. If for captivity, than to captivity I go. If for preservation in the wilderness on eagles wings, that is where I will reside. But whether God preserve me out of or through the coming fire, I will not bow the knee to the golden statue. We must all be of this mind. Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him; for the Lord our God is mighty to save, and His Love endures forever.

  22. I totally understand about where the world is heading and I appreciate the information.

What I do not understand is when religious people say that if you do not believe in god then you won’t be saved. My wife says the same kind of thing and it baffles me.

I have a good heart and I will help peopke whenever I can, but why must I believe in something to be saved from a coming world crisis?

    • Hi Lee,

The problem is that even demonstrably evil people say that they have a good heart. In fact, EVERYONE says that they have a ‘good heart’, this is why our own perceptions aren’t a good standard. (I unfortunately speak from experience.)

Here is an great video that has won quite a few awards. You might find it interesting:

      It’s called: 180

Here’s the video link, if the above doesn’t show up very well:

Thank you Lee for ‘diving into the deep end’ with that question. We’re all very flawed, but God loves us anyway.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  23. John

Thank you fir the video link. I have now changed my view on abortion.

I still have and gave always had an issue with the bible and believing in something that I cannot see any evidence of.

What evidence is there that the bible is the written law of a higher power or being?

What do you think God is (human being, some kind of higher power or being in the ether)?

    • Hi Lee,

Now we are getting to the nitty-gritty of faith.

There’s also a guy named Lee – as in, Lee Strobel. He was in much the same position that you are. He was an atheist with a wife that had become Christian – who was badgering him.

Lee knew something about the legal system, since he was a journalist that specialized in the courts. So, he chose to prove the whole idea of Christ wrong. However, instead of proving the idea of Christ wrong, he wound up being convinced that Jesus was everything the Bible said that He was.

That experience launched a series of books:

      – The Case for Christ

      – The Case for Faith

      – The Case for a Creator

Those books also have movies associated with them.

Within those books/movies you will find a thorough explanation as to why we can trust in the authenticity of the Bible.

You can find Lee Strobel, here:

By the way, here’s another movie from the same guy that did 180:

      Very interesting.

Ultimately, what comes out of the movie ‘evolution vs god’ is the realization that we must take most of the fundamental principles of where our reality came from… on faith.

As to what God is… well, when you cross over to the understanding that ‘all of this’ didn’t happen by itself… well, God truly is a person of infinite power – greater than anything as small and confining as this Universe of ours.

      Do I understand it all?

      Nope. No one does.

But, God has thrown me a lifeline, and I’m not letting go. And, there’s plenty of space on that line for you, too.

The answers are out there. Feel free to challenge God to give them to you. He’s more than able to meet challenges like that.

Keep up the good work, Lee.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  24. I was completely convinced by your opening statement about the Chinese Christians and us.
Then I started reading the linked material about being prepared with food and water. Do you realize it is not possible for most people to find water near them, unless it is piped to them, and piping water today requires electricity. I know a man who has a hand operated well–he may survive under this project plan of preparation. I have no way to get water out of drought ridden land, although I have some food stored. It is hard to store water–even the chlorine people say to put in it is bad for me.
So–my attitude has to be a Chinese one. Complete dependence on God, who will either rapture me out, or find me some friends who will help me get water, if we lose our present water system.
Have Chinese faith in your preparations.

    • Hi Mariel,

May God bless you and keep you. I really hope and pray for a miracle of protection for all of our brothers and sisters. Far too many are like yourself and unable to prepare completely.

Do the best that you can. Pray for God’s intervention and be ready to grab a hold of any lifeline that He throws you.

      God bless you, Mariel.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

    • Get a Berkey; store what you can now in containers—I know you drink something bought in food grade plastics.

Use something as simple as a trash can to catch rain water when TSHTF.

Even better; store pool shock(calcium hypochlorite) and study how to filter thousands of gallons of water using one package of CH…$4 a pack at any pool supply store.

    • don’t worry friend he had this day planned before the first. he said i knew you from the foundation of the world. the plan will work just fine, don’t ever lose hope for it is life its self…

  25. Jesus tells us that someone living when the 1st prophetic even happens will be living when the last prophetic event will happen. Since we’re told Israel will be surrounded by armies. This was not possible before Israel existed. To my thinking this places the stick in the sand on May 14, 1948 from which the time-line begins. If we accept the lunar calendar with 360 days then 66.91 years have passed. The final 7 years don’t begin before ‘The Covenant With many’. It doesn’t appear ‘The Covenant With Many’ has begun yet. Negotiations between the Israeli President and the Roman Catholic Church (evidently the ‘legal’ owner of Mt. Moriah) began in 1993. Pope Francis, if the prophesy of St. Malichi which purports that Francis is the last Pope is true, will be in Israel in May 2014. If the Vatican ‘owns’ the temple mount then the Vatican can control whether-or-not a 3rd temple of Solomon is built by the Jews. According to internet reports the sacrificial unblemished red heifer has been found and is in Israel. Recent Israeli polls suggest the Jews in Israel are ready to build the 3rd temple of Solomon and political pressure to build is being placed on the Israeli government. Pressure from the U.S.A. and other nations of the world for Israel to ‘negotiate’ and sign a treaty with Palestinians seems evident. Political landscape around Israel suggests Islamic military action to destroy Israel remains and may lead to another war against Israel. The nations of the world continue to show economic collapse and the U.S.A. doesn’t appear immune. N.W.O. seems soon to be a worldwide reality. The speed with which many Bible prophecy have recently happened make me doubt another 23 years will pass before the ‘Abomination of Desolation’ in the 3rd temple of Solomon is possible. The Altar of the Jewish temple, to say the least, is necessary for Satan to declare himself God. I don’t think the U.S.A. can continue to deficit spend for another 23 years nor do I believe it is possible for US Congress to ever stop deficit spending or pay any of its national debt before it collapses. We are told God uses the stars heavens for His signs and recent Blood-Moon tetrads (if in their rarity can be considered recent) are appearing in 2014 and 2015 and won’t appear within a lifetime of people who are presently living. I am not a Prophet, nor has God told me the time of His return but I fully expect the Antichrist will present ‘The Covenant With Many’ before 23 more years pass.

    • Hi Breonna,

      You’re welcome!

I just finished watching a video featuring, and I am so mad at the Vatican… I call God’s Wrath down upon them! May they be completely wiped off of the face of the Earth, never to rape and murder a little child ever again. And may all who seek to protect these little children (and stop the Vatican) be given protection from God. In Jesus name, I ask that this be so.

May God have mercy on us for allowing this evil in our midst.

Thank you for the reminder, Breonna.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  26. John,

You have suggested that the East will be the best place of refuge as the great fire from the Lord comes upon us. We are currently living in the deep South of the South American continent. Is there a reason you did not mention this as a location of safety? And if there is a reason you are not includint it as a place of safety, could you please share that with us?

God bless and thank you for your help and love for all.

    • Hi John,

The problem is that I’m not completely sure what the effects of such a Solar EMP would have on the Southern Hemisphere. It would be the Winter, so the effects would certainly be more attenuated.

I’m just not completely sure. This will require some study, and I am prepared to do it – especially since I have friends and even family down there.

So, rest assured that this is not a ‘hypothetical’ question for me.

There is also some question as to how severe the effects will be on North America, also. This situation leaves open the possibility that the Solar EMP will not have as strong effect on North America, since Solar Flares don’t normally last that long.

Of course, this Solar Flare will be unprecedented, and it will be the ‘hand of God’.

I will certainly be thinking about all this over the next few months.

Sorry that I can’t be more definite, John. Having said all that, I do believe that being in deep South America is a good place to be.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  27. Hi John
I would like to reply to Amy and her assertion “But, the scriptures state that the restrainer, which can only be the Holy Spirit, has to be taken out of the way before Antichrist can be revealed.”
Amy, you are referring to II Thes. 2:7, I believe, which is somewhat an ambiguous scripture, and could refer to other things than the Holy Spirit. The verse says “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he that letteth will work until he be taken out of the way.” The word “he” here is more correctly interpreted as “it”, and could refer to the previous verse “and now ye know what withholdeth, that he might be revealed IN HIS TIME”. (vs. 6). In other words, it’s not His time yet, and that could be the hindering agent. At any rate, we should never take an ambiguous scripture and give it preference over a concrete one; that is, like verses 1-3 that says that the gathering won’t happen until the man of sin is at the least, revealed and the revealing is midway in to Daniel’s 70th week (Dan. 9:27).
Furthermore Amy, Jesus said He would be with us until the end, right? And He, in His resurrected form, is none other than the Holy Spirit. “I will not leave you comfortless, I will come unto you” (John 14:18), and the Holy Spirit was sent “in My (Jesus’) name.” (John 14:26). I would think that rather than saying that the Holy Spirit would be removed first, that Paul would have said that the CHURCH would be removed. That makes more sense, as the Holy Spirit is omnipresent: “Behold, the eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the good and the evil.” “Whither shall I go from Thy Spirit, or whither shall I flee from Thy presence?” (Psalms 139:7). So if it’s the church that is removed, would Paul not refer to her in II Thes. 2:7 in the feminine (she) and not the masculine (he) or the neuter (it)?
If you are looking for a pre-trib rapture, you are about to be greatly disappointed. Just remember when the “Covenant with many” is signed by the anti-Christ, it’s time to forget that business, as that’s what kicks off the final 7 years (Daniel 9:27). That is, a pact that involves Israel that will be for a period of 7 years. The problem you might be confronting then is one of timing. It may be too late to get your ducks in a row then.

  28. Shalom John

I am in complete agreement with you as far as getting out of Babylon.. I believe Yahwehs word in Jeremiah 50 and 51 make that very clear.. I am like you in one way.. I am hard headed and don’t like playing games.. If not for Gods mercy and Yeshuas gift of Repentence and salvation. I would be on my way to Hell. As the child of a holocaust survivor I have no delusions of what wicked unsaved men are capable of carrying out.. However keeping it real.. I am a poor, well financially poor woman.. not spiritually.. so although I would like nothing better than to leave this USA Babylon it looks as though I don’t have a way.. Just as many jews in Germany did not have a way.. So unless some kind saint who Yeshua speaks to to help me go. actually obeys Him and shares the love.. I am stuck here in America.. I pray for the strength to stand even in the face of martyrdom and to never look back or shrink back.. please pray for me..
YHWH bless you and your lovely wife.

    • Hi ruth,

God bless you, sister. I believe that a moment in time will come that will show us all what we need to do. That’s why Luke 21:36 mentions prayer and not wealth as the answer.

That doesn’t change the fact that I worry about those like yourself. People like you are my greatest concern.

I rest in the fact that God has a plan.

      Thank you, Ruth.

      Yours in Christ,

  29. Hi John,
It has been interesting reading through all of the comments and I find it inspirational.
I also think that we people have a tendency of making things way to complicated.
“Proverbs 22.3 makes it pretty clear that a wise man sees trouble coming and takes refuge (does something about it) but the simple keep going and suffer.”
Scripture is pretty clear that we are to keep watching to be expectant for his return.
It does not really matter if we get raptured before, during, or after whatever events are coming our way.
I just know in my heart he Is coming! When – How – doesn’t make much difference and until that time presents itself I will continue to do what I believe he has put on my heart to do in serving others.
It is about a personal relationship with the Lord of the Universe and I walk with him in good times and bad. I keep looking up and encourage others to do so as well.
In closing I would say keep it simple, stay close to Jesus day in and day out; serve other around us as He served us and Keep Looking UP.
Please keep banging the drum – you might wake someone UP.

    • Hi Surfer Steve,

God bless you brother. You have it right – although, I would prefer to know that you are in a safe place, out of harm’s way. But, the fact that you are truly following the call of the Lord is wonderful.

Thank you for that inspirational comment, Steve!

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

    • Hi Chip Griffin,

Well, it is pretty clear in Revelation 11 that they are to prophesy against the Beast and against the Antichrist and speak what God tells them to speak. They have the power to kill and the power to make rain stop from falling.

That’s a lot. What else they may do is not described, so we are limited in what we can say.

      Thank you, Chip.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  30. strange as it may sound. i had a dream/vision about the two witnesses and what the vision showed made real good since. they not only come against the evil two, but help on many levels protect those who refuse the mark of the beast, which was shown to be a shot with a chip inside it. i would like to tell more about it, but might need more than 300 words. i believe it would ease the fear of many…

    • Hi Chip Griffin,

I’m sorry about the 300 word limit. It’s there so that even people with few words have a voice. Of course, that means that interesting messages like yours get lost. However, write something on the web, and then provide us with a link.

Dreams are interesting things, and just because you dream something that isn’t in the Bible… well, it doesn’t mean that it’s wrong… unless it DISAGREES with the Bible. And, I don’t see any reason why the ‘Two Witnesses’ wouldn’t want to help fellow Christians outside of Jerusalem.

Having said that, the Bible DOES say that the ministry of the Two Witnesses IS centered physically on Jerusalem. So, I’m a little cautious when contemplating something outside of that physical area.

The disasters that are coming between now and then will change the face of the world in ways never before imagined. When I try to think about what the world will be like in a few years… I just draw a blank.

      Thanks, Chip.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  32. I suggest preparation, also. However in the last few weeks, I have begun to realize that what we do now, is not for the duration, but as a hedge against inflation and lack of goods. Where the Lord sends, He leads. Where He plants, He grows.

In a way, I can almost see this, but it is like we are returning to times gone by where everyone had a garden, jarred, put up meat, bartered, and helped one another. We have lost many of these skills and have become dependent on the conveniences and technologies that may become a doom rather that a boon.

Employment is a problem as we speak, but the corporate fascism will increase and dictate wages that will bankcrupt many. Small business will fold. We have to really vest ourselves in our relationship with the Lord, that He leads and we follow.

As far as some comments about the Rapture, which is not named in the Bible, nor is it described in the Bible, however many hold to this doctrine. What happens is that it twists scripture, gives a false security, causes to misidentify the events that precede Tribulation, causes nonsupporting scripture to ‘fit’ in a way that is false teaching. Causes a misidentity of the adversary and Christ, by changing who comes to what temple, changes the timeline of Daniel, misindentifies not only verses, but chapters of the who, and when of events. The pattern of the Bible is that the Lord brings His people through trials and tribulations, and not knowing what is happening distances believers in pre/mid rapture theory made into doctrine from understanding the times, like the unwise virgins, unprepared physically, and most importantly spiritually. I guess I am a last trumpet-er, too.

I know many that are in the exhortation ministry believe the R doctrine, yet I believe that God will open their eyes with further revelation, and those that have come away…really have their eyes opened to so much more. That does not make one better than another, just gives a mission field of intercession.

  33. The problem with people’s best laid plan is that it always ends in things getting better. That will not happen when, not if, America is emp’d. We are never coming back, and things will never, never approach the old way of life again. The new normal will be daily death and anguish. I really wish people would watch a British documentary named “Threads”. It is boring in places but it brings home to roost exactly what we are up against. Nothing has a happy ending. If anyone is interested you have my permission to post our email address and people who need help to get started are welcome to contact us free of charge of anything we can teach them. We do know how to did homemade wells up to sixty-five feet deep for around $150.00 or less for parts and material if they are willing to do their own labor. We also have experience in digging safe homemade storm and food storage shelters for very little monetary expense, and other things. We are located in south Texas, and as stated before all info is free. See you at His feet.

  34. Greetings! First time to your site and rather enjoyed it along with the spirit filled comments. I too am a last trumpet-er and I believe with all that God has made me to be that we are the generation that will not pass before witnessing His glorious return.

My thoughts about preparation for the end of this age is to go where Jesus leads you. If He is telling you to stock up on goods so you can share with others when the time comes then that is what you should do. I believe I am being led to trust that God will provide even in the more dire of circumstances. Think manna from Heaven. Our Good Shepherd Jesus will tend to His flock as even now He is doing in letting us know His arrival is approaching. We hear His voice and it is always so edifying and a tremendous blessing to fellowship with true believers.

Two things are a litmus test for me. Regarding the physical world, to know the official story of September 11, 2001 is a complete and utter lie; regarding the spiritual world, to know the our mighty Redeemer is drawing near. More near every day and I rejoice for I have about had enough of the lies and the lukewarmness of our fellow human beings – even though I know this to be the way it is to be. Thanks for listening and hope I have kept it under 300 words!! with love from a sister in Christ.

    • Hi suzyQ,

It is truly a good thing to see someone who trusts the Lord. I believe that you have the right idea.

The important thing is that you have sought the Lord for what you should do, and are trusting Him. That is always the first step.

But… I will still worry that you are okay when this storm hits us.

Thank you, sister Suzy. God bless you!

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  35. John, I am acting on your good advice to “get out of Dodge”. I wrote you some weeks ago that I have lived in the east and the “middle of the earth” in the same places that you have, and are living. Just wanted you to know that a friend and I are preparing to move to a small country that should be outside of the bull’s eye of the trouble that is coming. May our Father bless you for your service to all of us who have ears to hear.

  36. This reply is for JayJay, I do believe once saved, always saved. We may flee from the Lord for a time, but we always seem to come back. He never leaves us, WE LEAVE HIM. He is such a good and constant love. He is right there, He never left, He was waiting for us to return. I hope and pray I never leave the Lord again. We need Him far more than we can even conceive. I know I Love Him and if I didn’t have Him, I couldn’t live in this world today. He is my EVERYTHING. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart. He shall direct my path, so I fear not…………I have Him.

  37. Hi, i have lost may way in the maze of comments, so this may be out of order, so i am sorry…

I just wanted to briefly address the notion that i am according to the host, a terrible christian if i hold to a pre trib view. Which i do. Sorry, hope you can still love me in the Lord.

    My only point is this:

Since i concluded through study of the word, that pre trib is correct here is what happened:

I began to live a holy life. why?

because i live with the realization that i may be required to give an account at any time. Any other view allows me to wait for certain things to happen, and i can put off dealing with habits and things knowing that i have time.

    • Hi jim,

This theory has helped you live a more holy life?

So, it gives you permission to twist the Bible, the words of God?

Think about what God will say to you, when you see Him in heaven.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  38. Hi John I tried to post this yesterday but it wouldn’t go through. Hopefully it will today. I posted the scripture of John 3:3-8. We are to be born again of the water and the Spirit or we can’t even see the kingdom of heaven let alone enter in. Matthew 28:18-19 says that all power is given to Jesus and we are to baptize everyone in that name. Father, son and Holy Ghost are just titles. In the book of Acts they baptized only in the NAME of Jesus and not his titles. The power of his name is what washes away our sins. Acts 22:16. II Peter3:20-21says baptism saves us. I am also a post tribulation person. I watched the video with Pastor Anderson about the pre trib being a fraud. Very very good. Please study out the salvation plan that is just as important as the rapture. Thank you so much for your time. I love reading all the info you write. Keep up the goog work. Yours in Jesus Christ

  39. Hi again John. I’m wondering if you have ever heard of Irvin Baxter? He lives in Texas and is an endtime prophecy teacher. He is a post trib teacher and has taught some very interesting subjects. Also if we are able to leave this country which country do you recommend. We are starting to prepare and hopefully we will be ready when it all starts happening. God bless. Also without the infilling of the Holy Ghost we will not be caught up with the Lord. That’s what makes us his. That and the washing away of our sins in water baptism in the name of Jesus. Have you ever studied this out. Yours in Christ. Lana

    • Hi lana pawlowski,

I HAVE heard of Irvin Baxter, and I’ve heard good things about him. Unfortunately, I think that I’ve only heard one recording of one of his talks. But, it was very good.

As for places to go, stay away from Europe and Africa. East Asia is my preference. If you have connections with Australia or New Zealand, that would be great. It’s cheaper to live in places like Taiwan, Thailand or Myanmar. Muslim countries are out, and I’m NOT a fan of India.

Also, many speak highly of Costa Rica, Panama and Chile.

The bigger question is about where you believe that God is calling you.

      Sorry to be so vague.

God bless you, Lana, for treating all this seriously.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

      • Hi again John, I do take all of this very seriously. I have never believed we would be raptured out of here before the tribulation. The first time I read Matthew 24 I knew we were going to go through it all. Some of my friends walk around with there heads in the clouds and think we won’t see any persecution of any kind. I guess cause we live in the USA. Lol. My husband is an avid watcher of Alex Jones and now that I’ve found your site I read it to him. We are trying very hard to be ready for what’s coming. If we aren’t able to leave the country we will try to move north. We live in Wisconsin. We do have other friends we are teaming with. Keep up the good work. In Jesus name. He is my God. Your sister in the Lord

  40. Hi John I’m wondering if you might be able to give some insight on what kind of food and supplies we all should be storing. We have some things and are trying to prepare but are kind of at a lose for what to buy. Thank you for any suggestions you might be able to give. Absolutely love your site. Thank you so much for caring about God’s people. Your sister in the Lord, Lana

    • Hi lana pawlowski,

I’m afraid that I’m NOT a preparedness expert. I highly recommend THIS sight for that:

Having said that, it has everything to do with whether you are in a safe place. If you think that you can weather any storm, then canned goods are the cheapest and tastiest way to go.

If you think that you are too close to a city and will need to ‘bug out’, then freeze-dried foods would be the best. Mountain House is the tastiest.

Let’s see… water filters. Med kit. Bible. Backpack. GOLD (for portability) SILVER (for value)

Unfortunately, everything depends on your situation. However, will give you resources.

Thank you, Lana, for taking all of this seriously.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little,

  41. Having read what you have stated–my question is: re: The Rapture–I know there is much speculation and various Evangelists have a Pre-trib., Mid-trib. and a Post-trib. sermon!

Hal Lindsey, I believe had stated his belief as a Mid-trib. believer! I have read many of his books!

I, too, lean toward the Mid-trib. time frame! But, sure could be wrong!

    What say you–?

    Thank you—

  42. Help…….

    Articles are good…..

Question, in preparation…… where to Christians stand in use of self defense?
Some are armed to the teeth, but on the other hand, praying the Lord will come before they might have to use them.

Were there not Christians in The Revolution War?
Some say live by the sword, die by the sword. But I don’t live that way.

What are we to do? Even if we have food and water, if we can’t defend it, what good is it?

    • Hi Dennis S.,

I believe that we are given permission to engage in personal self-defense. But, I do not believe that we have permission to take a life in pursuit of political or economic gain. Unfortunately, many do not understand the distinction.

What we are going through now is the result of our sin before God. We will never take back what God has decreed that we should not have.

      I hope that helps, Dennis.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  43. John,
Thank you so much for your faithful witness. I believe YHWH has called you for such a time as this. I watched the Anderson video with shock. Obviously, his film project is motivated by fear and escapism. Yes, it’s pitiful and painful.
    On Rosh Hashanah, “L’shanah tovah”

  44. 2 Thessalonians 2 makes it clear for any who will use their heads instead of their heart:

2Th 2:1 ¶ Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
    3 ¶ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The “gathering together” is plainly the rapture and verse 3 makes it plain that it will not happen till antichrist is revealed. What more can be said? We will CERTAINLY go through great tribulation but God will protect His children.

  45. PLEASE…watch this and Pray for It’s almost too late!! America did not repent as Nineveh did for at least 40 years…and now Modern day Babylon is facing Judgement. Sodomy, Ebola, natural disasters, break down of morals (society), economic collapse and the continued spiritual lawlessness, not to mention a weak and apathetic christian church.
I have moved out of America because that was what the WORD clearly says. “COME OUT” …Revelation 18 IS America not only the Catholic and Christian Apostate church. It is a physical as well as spiritual “COMING OUT.” Why? So we are not “partakers of her sins, and recieve NOT of her plaugue!!. Read Revelation 18 and let the Holy Spirit open your eyes… and you will not walk as blind persons…Abba loves you and HIS warning HAS been coming through prophets that are unknown and humble…

    • Hi Devorah,

I will watch and listen to this video. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Please. Everyone. Those who CAN get out, MUST. And, if you can help others who cannot, well… do the best that you can, to help.

      Thank you, Devorah.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  46. wake up call, there is no Ebola, yep the tin hat and standing strong. this is where the mark of the beast or the back it rides in on. i will let the Ebola people stay with me until you are sure, but hurry tried of helping stupid people. the same liars that sold the other lies have gone straight, is that your claim. darn john, you quick just short of the finish line.

watch for the rise of the antichrist by the end of the month in turkey, he will force the world to put the mark inside the vaccine if it is not already in it.

    goodbye john,

    • Hi Chip Griffin,

The timing is off for the Antichrist to proclaim himself. And, the Mark of the Beast is something that you must willingly choose, otherwise the Bible would have phrased it differently.

You will not be tricked into taking the Mark. You will choose it – or die.

I look forward to hearing from you next month, Chip.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  47. here’s my plan: if God wants me to survive, He will miraculously provide beyond what I can convince my husband to do, which isn’t much. if not, my time is up, and I GLADLY depart this world. who in their right mind wants to live through what is coming???? he FLIES to san diego in a few days and will be gone about a month. NOT HAPPY, but if his time is up, so be it.

    • Hi oldbat,

I’m so sorry that you are stuck in this position. But, you’ve put your trust in the right place.

God will see us through all of this. And yes, dying early would be one way that He would do that.

      As Paul said:

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. – Philippians 1:21

May the Lord bring your husband back, safe and sound. And, may the Lord lead you both in truth and righteousness.

God bless you, OldBat. We were chosen for such a time as this.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  48. Hi John I just read 15 signs. God forgive us. That is exactly what is happening. Our churches are more social clubs than places to go to keep our lives on track. Why has this happened. Why don’t they preach to the people what’s really happening out there. I am so disillusioned with everything. It makes me want to stop going to any church. I know my church has the plan of salvation right but I think that’s all. Scares me to death. I can feel the tears rising up in my soul. Thank you for all you do to get the truth out there. Love in Christ Lana

  49. Thank you for another great email with the links to Mr. Organ, Weir and Armstrong. It is becoming more and more depressing to try to share this information with my family members who are not willing to, or are already not emotionally able to handle the information before it comes to pass, much less after. As a result some of them have politely but obviously cut communications. I feel like I’ve already been orphaned in the most meaningful of ways. I know this is happening to many of us but it doesn’t help lessen the pain. It just makes me feel worse for all of us. Soon it will be too late for any of us to help those we care about, and what then? I’ve decided it’s best to me to stop banging my head against the wall, figuratively, trying to help family who either won’t or aren’t able to, process the tiniest bit of preparedness information. It’s already cost me relationships with family members that I thought I would always be able to count on. I will have to hope new “family” comes my way. It’s hard being alone knowing what’s coming. Thanks again. God bless you.

    • Hi Eileen,

I am so sorry that you are going through this. Unfortunately, yours is a situation that I have experienced, along with so many others. In fact, it is a story that has been told for thousands of years.

The Lord’s people have always been lonely voices, shining the light of truth in the midst of great darkness. And the only comfort that we have is the knowledge that we are doing the Lord’s work.

There are moments when you feel like you are accomplishing nothing. That’s normal. But, keep doing the best that you can with what God has given you. You really are serving God in all that you do.

God bless you, Eileen. You are not alone.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  50. Hi John. I just got done reading your last entry. I have studied the Catholic church thoroughly because I came out of the Catholic church. The Jesuits are the head of everything. There’s a man called the Superior General (aka the black pope) who tells the Illuminati and the Catholic church what to do. I have also studied all I can about the Illuminati. It’s sad but true that the US was developed to become part of the NWO. There were people however that came here for religious reasons. The true church started on the day of Pentecost in the upper room in Jerusalem. When people have that love for absolute truth God will help us. Until then we are a doomed world. Love your Articles John keep up the good work. Love in Christ. Lana

  51. Do you believe that Luke 21:36 when it speaks of being counted worthy to escape all these things is referring to the the previous two verses, which are are warning of the snare that is coming on the whole earth. Looks to me like the snare has already manifest itself.

    Just wondering.

    • Hi sandy,

Well, Jesus DID use the word ‘therefore’. Here’s the whole section that you are referring to:

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. – Luke 21:34-36

Whenever you see the word ‘therefore’, you can substitute ‘for this reason’. And, it is very, very true.

We need to be extra careful. We need to continually seek the direction of the Lord with fervent prayer. We need to see what is happening and compare it to what the Bible ACTUALLY SAYS – as opposed to what others tell you that it says.

Get this wrong, and you die a terrible death. And, there would even be eternal consequences.

Sandy, that was an extremely observant comment. Comments like that make all of this worthwhile to me.

Keep up the good work, sister!

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  52. Thanks, John L. This was a 2nd warning of my need to turn off the computer and open my Bible. Also to be in prayer more. I seem to pray only when I’m overwhelmed and I know this is not good. I’m starting to get nervous because it seems the Lord is angry at more of us than we think.

God revealed Himself to me on Feb 4, 2006. I was on fire for the Lord for a couple of years, and during a weird time of slacking off but at the same time having more revealed to me, I eventually stopped celebrating Easter & Christmas, went church hopping with no success of finding a secure foundation of Biblical doctrine, and now I find myself living in Turkey with my new family (an agnostic Muslim husband who has treated me better than my own parents ever did, and step son); I discovered 119 Ministries online, which turned me on to returning to the Laws of Moses (those laws which can still be observed today without a physical temple and elders) and have left my entire Mormon family state side. (I’m not Mormon).

My spirit is filled with fear for the return of the Lord. I somehow feel His wrath in my bones. I fear not only for myself, but for my home country (US) and for all people of this planet. I’m desperately asking Him to put me on His path of righteousness so that I am not found wanting of what He REALLY wants us to be doing and obeying and living. I’m in dreaded fear of hearing Him say, “Depart from me for I never knew you.” This thought absolutely weakens my very body and I want to repent of every word that has ever left my mouth and every move I have ever made. My very existence is in contradiction to the Lord and I want so much to be with Him when I pass over.

This article is a 2nd warning for me. I need not another. God bless.

    • Hi Kathy,

I often go through moments in time when I wonder if I measure up to the Lord’s requirements. I have so many failings myself, that I cannot imagine being acceptable to God. But, I also believe that God is good and merciful. So, I know that everything will work out. But, it really tests my faith sometimes.

But, I understand the fears that you have.

Read your Bible and look for other brothers and sisters in Christ who will walk with you. We can’t do this alone. And, always be willing to talk about the One that you love more than anything and anyone – our Lord and Savior.

Everything else will fall into place after that.

If you want further reading, go to my new site:

What you find there will not make you feel better, but it WILL open your eyes. I consider that site to be 40% done, but you will still learn a lot.

Very, VERY bad times are coming, and I believe that Turkey is in the bullseye.

God bless you, Kathy. Bad times ultimately won’t matter – if you have God.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  53. We have a saying in the Marines! What ever can go wrong , can and will .(Murphy’s law)… Think God ! Guns! and Gold(food, water,) believe the whole Bible it’s STILL ALL TRUE, God is still in control , and keeps his own. and if you have not repented ….Do it now with all your heart….God Bless all and keep your powder DRY…. Hard times also comes with God’s BLESSINGS and he says …..MY GRACE is all you NEED…WOW P.T.L. and pass the Ammo…. GET in the good fight of FAITH…. Now is the time for all GODLY man to AWAKE……….

  54. Hello John Little. I have seen this coming for many years. After spending much time turning away from my Lord, I have turned back and all the seeing I’ve had seems to be confirmed. I appreciate what you said regarding why we would want to survive the horrors coming and agree. Only God can decide when our time is up and meanwhile, I want to be a voice for Him. Nothing else really matters. We are all mortal and will eventually die anyway. Survival in this world is not my goal. Peace to you and yours and may He continue to bless you.

  55. Kathy, I also felt like you for many years after being on fire for Jesus and then letting the cares of the world become my first love. It took years of praying halfhearted and nothing changing. Finally I decided to read scripture daily, no matter what. What followed was I started singing songs I remembered and now my prayer life is where God wants me to be. Remember God is the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus not only forgave our sins He became our sins. Nothing is hidden from Him. Repent and seek Him! He is faithful and true. God bless you with a spirit of revelation of Him.

  56. This is some of the best material I have seen in years. Is there a book, DVD series etc with all this material you have written ?

  57. Good morning John!
