As an American, this is one of the few days of the year that give me the chance to do something in writing that I try to do all year long: be thankful. Thanksgiving is that uniquely American holiday where we get to thank God for who He is and for all that He has done for us. And, I truly am thankful for His saving grace in my life – for His Son who came to rescue me at such great price. I am supremely grateful, and my small gift of gratitude is the least that I can do.
To my surprise, I find myself also grateful for the opportunity to live during these terrible times. It is true that dreadful days are coming, and there will be moments in which we would rather have died than see them. But, it is also true that God never makes mistakes, which means that He has placed us here on this Earth for such a time as this. Each one of us is here for the greatest of reasons, to serve God during the biggest storm that mankind has ever seen. And, it is an honor to have been given such a role.

I’m also thankful for a group of men and women who have poured out their hearts onto the pages of the Internet in an attempt to wake up those of us who slept. Once upon a time, I was also numbered among the sleepers, and am glad that there were those who sacrificed their time and effort to show me what was coming. I repay that gift by doing the same for you.
Here are what I consider to be the most important sites on the Internet:
Both Israel Outlook and Ezekiel 36-39 are my sites. I no longer update Israel Outlook, but it is still useful for those hoping to understand the Arab-Israeli conflict. Ezekiel 36-39 is VERY useful because we are living those four chapters today.
A Time To Betray – Iran Update – Reza Kahlili was the one responsible for igniting the fire that led to this site. On April 5th, 2011, I watched a recording of him that made me realize that something was terribly wrong. Tracking down this wrong, led to other wrongs and more than two years of writing. Reza is a hero and will, in my mind, always share the credit for any benefit this site gives.
Steve Quayle – What a tireless brother in Christ. Steve has been a lookout manning the walls for many, many years. He is generous beyond belief and a true man of courage. While I struggle sometimes with some of the things that he talks about, I also know that I have been a skeptic and a nay-sayer about even that which I write about now. And, Steve’s website should be everyone’s first stop, for those who want to know what is going on.
Peak Prosperity – Chris Martenson opened my eyes to the incredible and structural problems that we face today. Few know and understand the awful implications of declining resources, and Chris lays it out in a way that anyone can understand.
Northeast Intelligence Network – Doug and Joe Hagmann and their radio show, The Hagmann and Hagmann Report, helped me see key elements that I was missing, as I tried to solve the puzzle of where and why we stand here at this time and place. These two men have sacrificed their careers to do what they do, and they deserve our highest regard.
And… My Family – My Dad’s passion for science and my Mom’s love of words along with their devotion to Christian principle launched me on a course that has literally spanned the globe. There’s no way that I would be doing any of this without their efforts to straighten out a headstrong little boy. My courageous Aunt who has taken arms against a sea of trouble – she has been such an inspiration. And… my wife – I truly do not know how she puts up with such an outrageous husband, but I’m deeply, deeply grateful.
So, I am grateful to…
So, I am grateful to God, to my family, and to the men and women who have devoted their lives to warning those of us who sleep. We can never truly repay what we have been given, but we can devote ourselves to giving to others what has been given to us.
In this season of gratitude, let us commit to spreading the good news of Christ and warning our brothers and sisters of the terrible times ahead. The day is coming in which we will stand before our Lord and Savior and give answer for the lives that we were given. May each of us hear, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
…and, may God bless you.
