The Ride of the Four Horsemen – Who are They?

Few ideas have captured the imagination more than the Ride of the Four Horsemen. And, most of that ‘imagination’ is complete foolishness. Some of it is a reasonable attempt at trying to fit the pieces together.

Hopefully, the rest of us will ignore foolishness and confine our attempts at understanding, to what the Bible actually says. If you play games with the Bible, you are going to wind up in some very hot trouble with the Author.

As a writer, I don’t take kindly to having my words twisted. Multiply that by infinity when you consider that God doesn’t like having His words twisted, either.

It’s ALWAYS better to say, “I don’t know,” than invite the wrath of God.

America Destroyed Redux – Part 2 – The EMP Assassin

In part 4 of my America Destroyed series, I laid out the only option that made sense to me – an EMP attack. But, having discovered that the makhaira could be an assassin’s weapon, I think that we should revisit this idea. Furthermore, there is evidence to indicate that an assassination attempt on the US – by EMP – is in our future.

There are indications that the US Navy has taken extraordinary steps to protect the US and itself from EMP attack, and that thought should concentrate all of our minds. The lives of hundreds of millions of Americans and Canadians are at stake, and that includes you and your family.

America Destroyed Redux – Part 1 – Death by Makhaira

When I did my America Destroyed series, I talked about this as the fulfillment of Revelation 13:3. And, a few of you responded by making a connection to ancient slaughtering methods. I initially wasn’t so sure, but was prompted to look at the original Greek of Revelation 13:14.

That made me think. The original Greek word for sword, used in verse 14, isn’t one of those big blades that Medieval knights would whack each other with. It’s a makhaira, as opposed to a rhomphaia.

This distinction made me realize that there might be a bit more to this.
